FREEDOM FROM BARRENNESS: EXAMPLE OF RACHEL IN GENESIS 30

Every child of God is ordained to be fruitful, so fruitfulness is our heritage in Christ Jesus. Gen 1:28 (And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth). Genesis 30:22-24 (And God remembered Rachel and God hearkened to her and opened her womb. 23 And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach) Based on our last segment on Rachel, we talked about marital delays. As if her delay in marriage and the shenanigan pulled by her father was not enough she also found it difficult to conceive. She kept contending with her sister Leah. She cried unto God and He heard her cry and opened her womb. What was her crime? You may ask, she did nothing wrong. Satan was behind all her ordeal, because he knew what Rachel’s marriage with Jacob was going to produce, so he tried very hard to stop them. Like Apostle Paul said in 1corinthians 16:9(For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries). Every great door attracts adversaries, so we need to contend with the enemy of our open door in battle. Romans 8:31 says if God be us, who can be against us? That’s the more reason that we need to align with God. When God wanted to deliver the children of Israel from slavery in Egypt, he executed judgment on the gods of Egypt. Exodus 12:12(For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD). I pray for the person reading this, that God will execute vengeance on the enemies of your open doors today, in Jesus name. Why was Satan after Rachel’s destiny? Rachel was to deliver a destiny child called Joseph, who later helped in saving the life of a whole Nation during the time of famine that lasted for seven years. If Satan had succeeded in stopping Rachel’s marriage to Jacob, he would have achieved his aim. Since he could not stop the marriage, he tried to stop her fruitfulness by making her barren of which he failed woefully. If you are experiencing a delay in child bearing, don’t give up yet. God is preparing your womb to carry a special child. In my studying of the women in the bible, I found out that all the women who experienced a delay in conceiving eventually gave birth to a special child. Here are some examples of women who experienced delay in child bearing in the Bible; Hanna, Samuel’s mother, Sarah, Isaac’s mother, Elizabeth, John the Baptist’s mother, etc. the same God who remembered Rachel and took away her reproach will remember you today in Jesus name. I don’t know in which area of your life the enemy is fighting you to keep you from bearing fruit. It may be in your career, your marriage, or your ministry. Here is the good news, you are ordained to be fruitful, so don’t give up yet. Jesus is still in the business of setting people free. He is just waiting for you to recognize that he is here to answer you. Give him the opportunity to execute vengeance on the gods of Egypt trying to stop your fruitfulness by accepting him as your Lord and savior. THE SPACE IN BETWEEN

As people always say” Nature abhors a vacuum” Jesus says in Matt 12:43 (When an unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and find none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out and when he is come , he findeth it empty, swept and garnished.45 then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirit more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation). What this means is that we cannot afford to leave a space between us and God. It is very risky. Something else will find its way inside. In the natural world, if you are in line or queue somewhere and you give a gap between you and the next person, especially in my country Nigeria, you will see someone else jump in and filled the gap. When that happens, you will start fighting over your right. So, it is very dangerous for us as believers to leave a space between us and God. Fill all the spaces with the word of God. Give the devil no room to occupy, because he is always busy looking for a space to occupy. You will not be his victim in Jesus name. 1Peter 5-8 (Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour) Job 1:7 (And the LORD said unto Satan, whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, from going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it). Devil is nobody’s friend, he devours his victims. He has nothing to offer. His mission was clearly stated in John 10:10 (The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill and to destroy: I am come that they might have life and that they might have it abundantly). The amount of space God occupies in your life determines your manifestation. Matt 7:18 says ( A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them). There is an amount of space that the devil will occupy in your life and you will become his agent, but that will not be your portion in Jesus name. Don’t be his agent and don’t allow him to steal your glorious destiny. Fill the space today, by studying the word of God, be regular in fellowship and pray without ceasing. This will keep the devil away from your territory. Note, that if you have not received Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, all this will not work for you as expected. John 15:5 says (I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing). WHY MUST I BE BORN AGAIN: JOHN 3:3-8

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily; I say unto thee, except a man is born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Friends, it is sweet to be Born Again. I am overwhelmed with joy writing this segment. It is a sure ticket to Heaven with all the other benefit that follows it. You will live a life here on earth as if you are in heaven already. Nothing bothers you anymore. You will enjoy peace and joy; those issues that usually give you headache will mean nothing to you anymore. Matt 11:28 says “come unto me all you that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest” God will just take over your battles. Jesus says in the world you shall have tribulations: but be of good cheer I have overcome the world (John 16:33). You will live a stress free life, why, because someone has taken over your battles. You just enter into rest; he took your place on the cross. The burden of the sins of your past has been taken away. You will become a brand new person. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says (Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old thing are passed away; behold, all things are become new). Fulfilling your glorious destiny is guaranteed. That emptiness you feel will no longer be there. You are a child of the most High God, The King of kings. It feels good to be Royalty, isn’t it? You have this confidence that as long as you are with your father, no harm can come near you. He promised to always been there, and he cannot lie (Number 23:19). He that is now in you is greater than he that in the world. Wow, isn’t that awesome. Why not become Born Again today and enjoy all this benefits and more. THE CONNECTING LINK

Our heart is the connecting link between us and God. It is a very important organ in our body, that’s why when a person’s heart stops working, that person would be declared dead. So when we are disconnected from God, that means we are dead to Him spiritually. It means that the Spirit of God has left the person. Genesis 2:16(And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shall surely die). In every relationship, there are rules that need to be follow in order to maintain the relationship. God clearly told Adam and Eve that He was in a relationship with them and told them how the relationship can be maintained. When a man is dead to God, everything shuts down; even the communication line will be affected. Your heart will always be where you keep your most valuable possessions. It depends on what you choose to value. If you value your relationship with God, you will try to maintain the connection. The choice is yours. Joshua 24:15 says And if it seems evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom you will serve; Matt 6:33 says (But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these shall be added unto you). These scriptures clearly advices us to make our relationship with God number one priority. Bishop David Oyedepo called this particular scripture, “THE JACKPOT OF LIFE’’ you do one thing and you will have everything the world is dying for. I think this is an eye opener for those who really want to be connected. God valued His relationship with Adam and Eve, that’s why He went to check on them and found out that they have broken the relationship. He did cover them with animal skin but it was not still the same as before (Genesis 3:21). It is the same way He is checking on you and me. Here is the good news. Jesus came to reconnect us with God. God says He will put His Spirit in us (Ezekiel 36:27). Jesus said, “If he goes not, the comforter will not come unto us”. The comforter is the Holy Spirit. We need the Spirit of God to get connected and to stay connected. 2 Corinthians 3:17 (Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty). In order to be totally free from satanic oppression, we need the indwelling of the Holy Spirit). The same Holy Spirit will help us to remain connected. God is not too far from us, but our sin has separated us from Him and that’s why He could not hear our prayer (Isaiah 59:2). Satan loves it whenever we are disconnected from our source of power. It gives him and his agent opportunity to trample on us, but that will not be your portion in Jesus name. Their reign over you and your destiny is coming to an end today in Jesus name. I am sure that this is a solution to someone’s problem. If you want to reconnect or you are not even connected before, this is your perfect chance, grab it and be free. A BRICK WALL: JOSHUA 6

Joshua 6:1(Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came). In the journey of life, at times you may hit the brick wall, but that should neither stop you nor discourage you. It is part of the experience, as long as you have God by your side you will definitely arrive at your destination. What you do to overcome is all that matters. As a believer, you are redeemed to become an overcomer. 1john 5:4(For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God). No matter how thick the wall is, it can never be too tick for our God to chatter to pieces. He is a master strategist; He will give you the strategy that you need to break through the brick wall. Whatever the enemy has is a photocopy power. God can override it any time. All He requires of you is to align yourself with Him. If you are already Born Again, stay connected and be equipped with the amour of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). The most effective weapon to use to break through the brick wall is our faith. Let us look at the Example of the wall of Jericho. The bible describes the wall of Jericho to be very thick and reinforced (Joshua 6). Jericho was part of the Promised Land that God gave to the children of Israel. Who could have imagined that going around a wall with trumpet for seven day can actually collapse the wall. This can only be God, the master strategist. The secret of Joshua success in collapsing the wall of Jericho are: 1. complete obedience. 2, Faith, total trust in God. 3, Patience, we need to be patience when we are following God. 4. Lastly, the power of praise, God inhabits the praise of His peoples and you can’t have His presence and not be a winner (psalm 22:3). Your breakthrough is guaranteed in Jesus name. He that believes that Jesus is the son of God overcomes the world. So, if you want to be an overcomer and you have not yet believed in Jesus Christ, this is your opportunity. FREEDOM FROM MARITAL DELAY: EXAMPLE OF RACHEL, GENESIS 29:18-28

Genesis 1:27 (So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them) Genesis 29:18(Jacob loved Rachel; and said, I will serve thee seven years for Rachel thy younger daughter). Rachel was supposed to get married to Jacob. He was to serve Laban, Rachel’s Father for seven years for her. Jacob loved Rachel that he waited patiently and laboured for the love of his life. When the time for him to take Rachel as his wife finally came, he was deceived by Laban who stood as an agent of delay to his own daughter’s marriage. Leah, Rachel’s elder sister was given to Jacob instead of Rachel, Genesis 29:23 (And it came to pass in the evening that he took Leah his daughter, and brought her to him; and he went in unto her). Imagine the disappointment that they both felt. That did not stop them. Jacob served another seven years, just to make Rachel his wife. I don’t care the delay or who is standing as an obstacle to your marital destiny, when your Jacob comes he will patiently wait and labour for you in Jesus name. Yours will come speedily in Jesus name. For as it is written in Gen 1:27 He made them male and female. Matthew 19:5 says that a man shall leave his parent and join with his wife. Isaiah 34:16 says that none shall want her mate. So, it is the will of God for us to get married. Right now as you are reading this message, God is connecting you to your God ordained partner in Jesus name. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says that He had made everything beautiful in his time. God’s time is the best, wait patiently for God’s time; because no one would be able stop Him from setting you free in Jesus name. You shall be divinely connected in Jesus name. The Pharisees could not stop Jesus from setting free that daughter of Abraham who Satan bound for 18years (Luke 13:16). Redemption has made us daughters of Abraham. Gal 3:13-14, 29. So, you are a candidate for freedom. In case you have not made a decision to be the daughter of Abraham through Faith in Jesus Christ, now is the best time to do so and be free. WOMAN THOU ART LOOSED: LUKE 13:11-17

Luke 13:11-12(And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. 12 And when Jesus saw her, he called to him, and said unto her, woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity) She was in that situation for 18 years , when Jesus Christ located her and was about be set her free, the Pharisees showed up to stop her freedom . They said Jesus should not lose her. Imagine their anger. This also happens in our lives. The Pharisees represent the enemies of our freedom, they are the agent of Satan who disguise under the pretense of Religion to keep people under bondage. They gave so many reasons why she could not be delivered. Trust Jesus Christ, He ignored them and gave them the reason why she should be set free. She was a daughter of Abraham, a covenant child. Here is the response of Jesus Christ to the Pharisees in Luke 13:16(And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?). When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior, we come under this Abrahamic covenant automatically. Galatians 3:13(Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, for it is written, cursed is every one that hanged on a tree: 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come on the gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith). With this covenant we have access to our freedom. Jesus Christ set the woman free despite the opposition. I don’t know how many Pharisees are standing against your freedom; you are coming out of that bondage today in Jesus name. Jesus Christ ignored the Pharisees, the same way no opposition will be strong enough to stop Him from setting you free today in Jesus name. Infirmity can be anything that is causing you discomfort, holding you in one spot, challenging your existence or causing you to bow your head in shame, but today you are lifting up your head in praises to God in Jesus name. Whoever the son of man set free is free indeed. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. If you are not yet connected to Abrahamic covenant, this is your chance. Accept Jesus as your Lord and savior and be connected. Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I am a sinner, I cannot help myself, forgive me my sins, cleanse me with your precious blood. THE WARRIOR QUEEN: JUDGES 4 AND 5

Sequel to our previous episode, titled “THE DEBORAH IN YOU” Deborah did not just lead the children of Israel to war but planned their victory by strategically positioning another woman named Jael (who I call queen) to finish the Job of killing Israel’s tormentor (Sisera). Redemption has made us kings and Priests to reign here on earth Rev 5:10. We are all queens; it depends on how you see yourself. Our father is the King of Kings. God announced their victory even before the war started. He said he was going to give the victory to a woman. Judges 4:9(And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh). The woman that finished Sisera was Jael the wife of Heber. Judges 4:21-23(Then Jael Heber’s wife took a nail of the tent, and took an hammer in her hand, and went softly unto him, and smote the nail into the ground: for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died. 22. And behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, come, and I will shew thee the man whom thou seekest. And when he came into her tent, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in his temples. 23. So God subdued on that day Jabin the King of Canaan before the children of Israel). Things don’t just happen when it comes to our God and His children, everything has been pre-ordained. Jael was well equipped for the job. Even Deborah was well trained by God, that’s why she Judged Israel successfully. As a woman, we need to submit ourselves to God for preparation and be a vessel of honour for His use. At the end, Deborah sang a song to glorify God for giving them victory over their enemy. Her song was to thank God for turning away their captivity, (Judges 5:1). You are coming out of that captivity today in Jesus name. No matter how long they have tormented you, today marks an end to it in Jesus name. Deborah did exactly what Moses did in Exodus 15:1, when God parted the red sea for them and drowned the Egyptian army. Deborah knew the word of God. That is why she was a successful leader. God is still looking for a woman to use today, just like He used Deborah and Jael. May God find you and I worthy of His use in Jesus name. The first step to preparation is salvation, it is a requirement if you really want the Queen in you to manifest. Become a redeemed daughter of the King of kings, by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior today. THE DEBORAH IN YOU: JUDGES 4 AND 5

WHO IS DEBORAH? Judges 4:4 (And Deborah, a Prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at time). She was a Prophetess (Woman of God) She was a Judge (A leader) She was the wife of Lapidoth (A successful home maker). Wow, what a woman. Judges 4:1-2 paraphrasing, (The Lord sold the children of Israel to their enemies because they did evil in His sight). They repented and cried unto the Lord for their deliverance. The Lord made Deborah Judge over Israel at that time and used her to deliver them from their oppressor. She was a woman of honor and of great strength. Even Barak, their greatest warrior as at that time acknowledge her strength. Judges 4:8-9(And Barak said unto her, if thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go. 9 And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh). I pray for the woman reading this message right now, May the Lord make you a worthy vessel for His use in Jesus name. WHAT AM I SAYING? (MY POINT) There is a Deborah in every woman. It is left for you to search, dig deep and let it come out. Don’t allow the society to bury your Deborah. Discriminations against women, being born a girl, your circumstances, or your background, should not stop you from being who you are destined to be. God made Deborah Judge over Israel and also gave her victory over their adversary. The same God created you and I and He has not changed. Hebrew 13:8(Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and forever). He gave us someone to look up to in the bible as our role model (DEBORAH). She did not rule vicariously through anyone. She was their leader. A Judge in her time was like a king. Redemption has made us kings and priests to rule hear on earth. Rev 5:10 Deborah was a balanced leader, that’s what happens when you allow God to make you. In whatever area you are called, your profession or your area of endeavor. You are ordained to rule in whatever you do as a child of God. All you have to do is to allow Jesus to help you, empower you, guide you and give you the victory you deserve. You can start by letting Him into your life today as your Lord and saviour. Let God use that motherly instinct that he has deposited in you to raise a Deborah. WomanYouAreFree - Introduction

WomanYouAreFree My primary objective is to introduce women who are under any form of bondage to the life of freedom in Christ Jesus. Luke 13:11-16 Luke 13:11(And behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. 12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. 16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound lo, these eighteen years be loosed from this bond on Sabbath day?) Bondage can be described as spiritual imprisonment. Whatever restricts your movement, limit your advancement in life or make you bow your head in shame. There is no productive life in prison. Some go through life and never get out of this prison. What a wasted life. But I pray for the person who is reading this and feel like he or she is in any form of bondage, your life will not be wasted in Jesus name. Imagine if that woman has not encountered Jesus, she would have remained in her situation till she died, but that will not be your portion in Jesus name. My interest by the guidance of the Holy Spirit is to relate the experiences of the women in the bible, their walk with God, their relationship with Jesus Christ, the role they played in the ministry of Jesus Christ here on earth, the challenges they faced, and how they overcame those challenges, then relate them to our personal life experiences.
