CLOTH OF MANY COLORS PART 2 (EXAMPLE OF JOSEPH) GENESIS 37 AND 39

Genesis 37:3(Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colors).

Life indeed is a battlefield and not a fun fair. Joseph is an interesting character that I love so much. As a believer if you really want to manifest and preserve your colorful destiny you need to follow his footstep.  We all have our cloth of many colors that our heavenly father made for us. Cloth represents glory. Our cloth of many colors is our colorful destiny. Just like Joseph that his brothers stripped naked of his cloth of many colors that his father Jacob made for him and wanted to kill him but they later sold him into slavery. The target of the enemy is to strip us of our glorious destiny, that’s why we need to guide our destiny. When a star is about to be born Satan knows, he will go after the child or he will assign his demon to go after the star to make sure that he will never manifest his or her destiny. (Revelations 12:13-17) describes it very well. Revelation 12:13(And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood). Satan did not want Joseph to be born so he delays his conception. He even went as far as delaying Rachel’s marriage to Jacob. Please read my segment titled (FREEDOM FROM MARITAL DELAY: THE EXAMPLE OF RACHEL). When Joseph was finally born he unleashes his arrow against him to the extent that his own brothers tried to kill him and finally sold him into slavery. Joseph was stripped naked of his garment twice but his God given colorful destiny was preserved because of his relationship with God. His brothers and Potiphar’s wife collected his garment (Genesis 37:23 39:12). He left it with them and moved forwards without looking back. Joseph’s secret was his relationship with God. The scriptures repeated it twice that Joseph feared God and refused to give up his cloth of many colors. He held it tight. The value we place on our relationship with God will determine how far we go in life. Revelation 12:16(And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ). I don’t know how fierce the wrath of the devil is against your destiny, as you are reading this right now the earth will open up and swallow them in Jesus name. Joseph refuses to defile himself; he prefers to lose his worldly garment in order to keep his enviable destiny. That’s the secret of a winner. The scripture says that “And the earth helped the woman” the earth will help you in Jesus name. Satan hates those who keep the commandment of God and receive Jesus. God loved those who keep his commandment and he will make sure that they fulfill their glorious destiny without any hurt just like Joseph (John 14:23). If you will follow God and allow him to lead you, what the enemy meant for evil, God will turn it against them and it will become your strength. At the end you will be able to say that they meant it for evil but God used it to preserve lives even of your enemies (Genesis 50:20). If you fear God you will keep his commandment. It is not by power nor by might but by his Spirit. Friends, Joseph has a personal relationship with God and he survives all the traps of the devil. His father’s relationship with God could not save him from his brothers. God is waiting for you to come; he wants to have a personal relationship with you. Here is another opportunity in case you have not accepted Jesus, do it now and be blessed in Jesus name. You will fulfill your destiny in Jesus name.

CLOTH OF MANY COLORS PART 1 (EXAMPLE OF ADAM AND EVE) GENESIS 2 AND 3

Genesis 2:16(And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die).

Genesis 3:7(And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves an aprons. 21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God makes coats of skins, and clothed them).

We all have our cloth of many colors made for us by God as a redeemed child of God. It is our colorful destiny. It is the glory of God upon our lives. The target of the enemy is to strip us naked of our colorful destiny. Satan is after our cloth of many colors as a redeemed daughter and son of God. He does not have any, that's why he is after our own. He was stripped naked of his privilege after he rebelled against God and the only way he can be relevant and have some clothes on is to steal from us. He sneaks into the Garden of Eden to steal from Adam and Eve by causing them to rebel against God. He introduces sin to them. John 10:10(The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill and to destroy: I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly). A man without his destiny is a dead man. That’s why God warned Adam and Eve in advance. They died spiritually after eating the fruit of the tree of life. The glory of God departed from them and they became naked. He knows that without your cloth of many colors, life is empty and trying to make something out of life is a mirage. If you know how it feels to be without cloth on your body that’s how a man and woman whose destiny has been stolen feel. He will know that something is not right deep inside. He might actually be doing some other things which are different from his original assignment from God but because is not what God has ordained for him, he will not have the sense of fulfillment. Life will become a burden which sometimes may lead to sickness and depression. On the contrary, if a man is doing what he has been destined to do, he will be joyful and have the sense of fulfillment. You are destined to make your footprint here on earth not just a passerby. There are many angry people in the street today not because they wanted to but because they are confused about their lives, especially here in Nigeria where everything is working against humanity. Adam and Eve resulted in covering themselves with fig leaves after Satan stole their cloth of many colors but God in his mercy made coats of skin and clothed them but his presence was no longer with them. Satan is still using the same strategy to steal people’s destiny today. I pray that you will not be his victim in Jesus name. He has cornered some family so if you are born into that family he will automatically hijack your colorful destiny and you will need to fight to take what belongs to you (Matthew 11:12). Some handed over their cloth of many colors to Satan because of sin. He will steal what is yours and try to lure you to worship him. He even tries to steal from Jesus, if not that he is sure of his identity (Luke 4:5-13). There is no forgiveness without blood, that’s why God killed an animal and made Adam and Eve a coat but he still chases them away from the Garden. Somebody may say, Nene, but I am just doing fine. Just imagine your present status now and imagine where you would have been if you had your cloth of many colors. You don’t need the blood of animals again the precious blood of Jesus has been made available for me and you for the forgiveness of our sin and to restore us back to the garden. The only way you can get your cloth of many colors back from Satan and preserve it, is to receive Jesus as your Lord and savior.

CONTROLLING YOUR THOUGHT PART2: PHILIPPIANS 4.8-9, MATTHEW 15:18-19

1 Corinthian 10:4(For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh 4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ).

Our heart is like a room and those evil thoughts are looking for accommodation. If you did not accommodate them they will not take residence. And if they manage to enter you have to react quickly and get them out before they nest. You need to understand that the battle is not between flesh and blood; that way you will not keep malice and fight the wrong battle. Know who to direct your anger at, don’t let him deceive you. Your enemy is the devil. If you have a stranger occupying your room you will not be comfortable, that’s why as a child of God you will find those thoughts strange and begin to fight it. If you are a believer and find yourself at peace with evil thoughts you need deliverance. Below are some of the weapons and the prayers that you need in order to overcome him and get him out of your heart so that the spirit of God can take residence in your heart.

THE WORD OF GOD: Meditate on the word, make bold declarations. Example: Memorize our anchor scripture (2 Corinthian 10:4-6), (Psalm 19:12-14). PRAYER: You my thoughts, you must obey Christ; I bring you into captivity to the obedience of Christ. You cannot exalt yourself against the knowledge of God in my life. At the mention of the name of Jesus every knee shall bow. I command you to submit yourself to him now in the name of Jesus. Father, in the name of Jesus, let the word of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you. Search me O God, and know my heart: try me and know my thoughts:  And see if there is any wicked way in me and lead me in the way of everlasting (Psalm 39:23-24). Satan, I am not your candidate, I know who I am, I am a redeemed child of God, get thee behind me. Jesus has delivered me from the kingdom of darkness and has translated into his own kingdom of light. (Colossian 1:13) I belong to Jesus, my body soul and spirit belong to him therefore you cannot have me.

THE BLOOD OF JESUS: I plead the blood of Jesus over my thought. I cover my thoughts with the blood of Jesus. I sanctify my thoughts with the blood of Jesus. Father, by the blood of Jesus, purges my conscience from every evil work. Hebrews 9:14(How much more shall the blood of Christ who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God). You evil thought I overcome you with the blood of Jesus (Revelations 12:11)

HOLY SPIRIT: Father, in the name of Jesus, let the fire of the Holy Ghost burn off every chaff of sins in my life, thereby making my thought acceptable to you (Malachi 3:2-3).

PRAISE AND WORSHIP: Satan does not like praise and worship. He is allergic to joy. A praiseful man is a joyful man. Praise also brings us into the presence of God. In his presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11). As soon as you start singing praise to God, they will flee from you. If you apply this weapon effectively you can never be depressed (Proverbs 15:13).

All of the above work like fire if you engage it with all your heart and repeat it until you are free. You will find peace in your heart as soon as he leaves. The Lord will give us understanding in Jesus' name. For this prayer to work for you; you need to confess your sin and rededicate your life to Christ (1 John 1:8-9). If you have not received Jesus as your Lord and savior, he cannot be the captain of your heart. Accept him today and be free in Jesus name.

As man thinks in his heart so he is. We are a replica of our thinking. Our heart is a vital part of our lives. God relates to us through our heart. It is very important to guide what goes in and out of our heart. Jesus Christ said that what we eat does not defile a man but what comes out of the heart defiles. Matthew 15:18(But those things which proceed out of the mouth comes forth from the heart; and they defile the man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies). Those who do evil first think about it in their heart and act it out. Matthew 9:4(And knowing their thoughts said wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?). If our heart is full of evil thought God will not be able to relate with us and we need God's presence to manifest destiny. Don’t allow Satan to be bombarding your heart with evil thoughts. He likes to inundate his victim with rubbish thoughts. If the victim does not know what to do he will be overwhelmed and start acting it out. With that, he has succeeded in keeping you away from God. That will not be your portion in Jesus name. Life is a battle and our heart is the battlefield. The bible said that the battle is not between flesh and blood. It is a spiritual battle and only a man and a woman of the spirit can win. The weapon to win this battle is our faith in the word of God. We need to fill our heart with God’s word and Satan will not find a place in our heart. Those evil thoughts want to exalt itself against the word of God. It is your responsibility to show him who the master is. Satan wants you in captivity and the only way he can accomplish that is to inundate you with his evil thoughts. So, it is a war. What you need to do is to bring him into captivity to the obedience of Christ. How? Submit every of your thoughts to Christ to filter it. Compared what your heart is telling to the word of God. If it is contrary, you need to show him who the captain of your ship is because you cannot have two captains in the same ship, it will capsize and I know you don’t want to end up that way. Philippians 4:8(Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things). If you compare these two scripture you will see that they are contrary to one another (Matthew 15:18-19 and Philippians 4:8). Many believers today are suffering from this problem. God has opened my eyes to this mystery and I wanted to share with my readers, it works like fire. Some people committed suicide because they could not defeat the controlling power while others committed a crime because the evil thought over power them. It is very disturbing because that’s not who you are originally. You know yourself that those thoughts can never proceed from you but yet you are overwhelmed. Those who are already in darkness will not be disturbed because that’s how they operate. You need to meditate on the word of God and declare it openly. Address Satan directly to get behind you. Some of the weapons to engage are: The word of God, The blood of Jesus, The Holy Ghost and Praise. These weapons can only work in the hand of a believer. If you have not made Jesus Christ the captain of your ship; now is the right time, do it and be blessed in Jesus name

THE BATTLE FIELD

 

2 Corinthians 4:4(In whom the gods of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine upon them).

Life is a battle and most of this battle takes place in our mind. Our mind is a treasure. It is a valuable asset both to us and God. Treasures attract all manner of things. The battle between darkness and light takes place in our mind. What darkness does is to try to use us against ourselves. We need to pay attention to what we feed our mind with because it will definitely manifest. A great man or woman has already become great in their mind before manifesting it openly. What your mind cannot conceive you cannot become. Both evil and good are first conceived and nurtured in the mind before it manifests in the open.  King David told his son Solomon that he has already had in mind to build a house for God (2 Chronicles 22:7). In other words whatever attitude a man is displaying is just giving birth to what he has already conceived in his mind. What eyes are to us is what mind is. Satan has blinded the mind of them who believe not. (2 Corinthians 4:4) He did not blind their eyes, he blind their mind because it is more valuable to him. If he captures the mind of any man he has already had his entire life. Someone may be looking at one particular spot; you will be surprised to find out that he does not even notice his surroundings because his mind is somewhere else. In this battle whoever you give your heart to get control of your mind. It is a contention between light and darkness. We are going to be held accountable at the end of our journey here on earth and that will determine where we are going to spend eternity. If God takes total control of your heart you will be sure to spend eternity with him in heaven and if Satan gets total control you will spend eternity with him in hell. He knows the entrance of the word brings light and when light enters it will dislodge his darkness. So he will try very hard to keep his captive away from accessing the light.  The choice is for you and me to decide. (1Kings 3:9) King Solomon asked God for an understanding heart to discern between good and evil. Ephesian 1:17(That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in saint).if your mind is lighted, you will know why you are here on earth and you will understand what God has for you. Satan does not want you to be free and also to manifest your destiny. That’s why he is after our mind to block it from accessing light. Understanding of any subject gives you dominion over it. As soon as light enters, your victory is sure. King Solomon became very wealthy because God gave him wisdom and understanding. Jesus Christ died so that we can have access to our inheritance that was stolen in the Garden of Eden. Revelation 5:12(Saying with a loud voice Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom and strength, and honour, and glory and blessing). To access all of the above you need light and Jesus Christ is the light. He gave them that received him power to become what they are destined to be (John 1:12). And this power is what delivers people from the blind folding power of Satan.  Invite him into your life today and be set free in Jesus name.

MOUNT ZION (THE CITY OF THE LIVING GOD)

Isaiah 2:3(And many people shall go and say, come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem).

Hebrew 12:22(But ye are come unto Mount Sion, and unto the city of the Living God, the heavenly Jerusalem and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirit of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better things than that of Abel).

As a believer we need to know what we stand to gain when we appear before God in Zion. Church is our city of refuge; it is the city of the living God. Church is the house of God where he has chosen to dwell. It is his sanctuary. It is a prepared place for his people and is well guarded. You cannot be there and be sorrowful.  Our problems will be solved by God himself who dwells in Mount Zion. In mount Zion we come under open heaven which we may not enjoy as individuals because is not everyone that has open heaven. Our prayers are answered immediately. Jacob had an encounter with God in Bethel and he said this is none other but the house of God and this is the gate of heaven (Genesis 28:11-22). We are expected to draw strength from Mount Zion. Psalms 84:7(They go from strength to strength every one of them in Zion appeareth before God). Life is a battle and we need strength to keep winning as we move forward. His angels are there to minister to us (Hebrews 1:14). The spirit of just men made perfect are the spirit of our fathers of faith, the spirit of Abraham, David, Joseph, Daniel and many more. (Hebrew 11:1-16) the bible said they desire a city and God gave them a city. Hebrew 11:16(But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city). Who will not want to be imparted with the spirit of these men of Faith? If you ask God for the spirit of excellence, he will ask Daniel to impart you with it in Mount Zion. I am motivated to write on this topic because I have heard so many believers say to me that they worship God in their house on Sunday. He has chosen a place for himself to gather the assembly of his people. There is a blessing in multitudes. In the multitudes of people is the king’s honor and he is the King of kings (Proverbs 14:28). We go to mount Zion to honor God with our present and to fellowship with him.  We go there to be sanctified by the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Abel and to receive our deliverance and to be empowered to possess our possession.  Obadiah 1:17(But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions). In Zion, we are being taught on how to serve God acceptably and to walk in his way by his anointed teachers (Jeremiah 3:15, 2Chronicles 15:3). I believe that no one knows the benefit of Zion more than King David. He said that a day in the house of God is better than a thousand and that he will rather be a door keeper in the house of God than to dwell in the tent of wickedness(Psalm 84:7-12). David was a lover of God and the bible recorded that he won all his battles. If you love God you will love going to his house and you will be empowered to win your battles. Only the sons and daughters are entitled to inheritance. If you are not yet his son and daughter, now is the best time to do so.

THE CITY OF REFUGE: NUMBER 35, DEUTERONOMY 12:11-14, 2 SAMUEL 7:10, JEREMIAH 3:15

Psalm 91:2(I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God in him will I trust).Psalm 46:11(The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge).

Number 35:11(Then ye shall appoint you to be cities of refuge for you, that the slayer may flee thither, which killeth any person at unawares. 12 And they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger; that the manslayer die not, until he stand before the congregation in judgment. 26 But if the slayer shall at any time come without the border of the city of his refuge, whither he was fled; 27 And the revenger of blood find him without the borders of the city of his refuge, and revenger of blood kill the slayer; he shall not be guilty of blood).

The bible describes the city of refuge as a safe place from avenger of blood. God in his infinite mercy has made available for us a city of refuge. God is our refuge and our city of refuge today is the house of God (the church) and Jesus Christ is the head of the Church. He is our high priest. It is a place where we go to purge our sins. No matter the gravity of your sin or who is pursuing you as soon as you come into his presence you will be saved. As long as you genuinely repent and surrender your life to Jesus, he will present your case to his father that you are among the people that he died for on the cross of Calvary. His blood will cleanse you from all your sin. It is not enough to run to him, you need to be planted in your city of refuge. Make it your home. Just like the people in the Old Testament. The law says if a man slayer comes out of the city refuge he shall be killed. Whatever is chasing you will be on the lookout to see if you are going to come out of your city of refuge. It is risky to be found without the border. 2 Samuel 7:10( Moreover I will find a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them anymore, as before time). Our city of refuge is our appointed place of worship. In this place you are not permitted to be afflicted by the enemy. God himself watches over the place. It is a place that God has appointed to meet with his people and it is a prepared place. Everything you need to live a stress free life is made available for you. It is very important to know your own city of refuge where God wants you to be. Jeremiah 3:15(And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding). We need to understand our new found relationship with God and maintain it, we need a teacher. God said he will give you a teacher, the one you will understand. I have found mine; I pray you will find yours in case you have not, in Jesus name. Deuteronomy 12:13( Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest: 14 But in the place which the Lord shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings and there thou shall do all that I command thee). It is a place that God has chosen for you and me. You will not labor in the wrong place in Jesus name. Ask God to open your eyes and lead you to a place he has chosen for you to serve him acceptably. If you are not established in a particular Church you may not learn how to serve him acceptably. The proof that we are in our city of refuge is peace and joy. That’s exactly what happened the first time I stepped foot in Winners Chapel. I still remember the theme of that year because I found what has been missing all along in my life.  I was like a child that found a new toy. Are you laboring under generational curses or any curses? Are you being pursued by the wicked powers, cry no more and run to Jesus for refuge. If you have not made God your refuge, take advantage of this opportunity and be saved in Jesus name.

SATAN’S COUP AGAINST MAN: GENESIS 1, 2 AND 3

 

Genesis 3:5(For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil).

Adam and Eve did not know the existence of Satan, but he revealed himself to them by introducing them to the tree of life which is the tree of knowledge to know good and evil. As soon as they eat the fruit of the tree of life, they enter into captivity. Satan is still using the same strategy today, he will make sin so attractive and try to convince you and misinterpret the word of God in order to lure you into captivity. The only person God introduces them to, is himself and he gave them dominion over everything that he created. The love of God for man and the authority he gave them displeases Satan. He hated humanity and made a coup to separate man from God and took away their dominion. He causes man to disobey God. He knows that the rule of the relationship between man and God is obedient. He has not changed; he is still using the same trick today. He is a trickster. Paul said that law draws his attention to sin (Romans 7). Sin has always been there since Satan introduced it to Adam and Eve. What law does is to save us from going to hell, Jesus Christ said that he did not come to destroy the law rather he came to fulfill the law (Matthew 5:17-48). Satan likes to show up where he is not wanted. He likes attention; he does not like to be ignored. Whether we like it or not he will show himself, it is our responsibility to stand against him. That’s more reason we should try very hard to resist him by embracing God. James 4:7(Summit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you). His coming to Adam and Eve’s life brings enmity between them and God. The relationship was broken and Jesus came to fix that which Satan has destroyed. The only way that we can keep him out of our territory is holding on to the word of God. The bible is called the perfect law of liberty. The bible is the law of freedom from satanic captivity. We need to eat it up, let it become our daily food. Satan is still walking up and down the earth looking for whom to deceive (Job 1-7). He is not looking for those who are already in his camp. He is looking for me and you. But you will not be found by him in Jesus name. He tried Jesus, so you are not out of his reach. The weapon that Jesus used to disarm him has been made available to you and me, the word of God (Luke 4:1-8). He does not like humanity; he wants to draw as many as he can to hell with him. Please don’t be his victim. Hold on to the word of truth because now that you have known good and evil, you will be held accountable for all your action. God advises us to choose good because he cannot force you to do things his way.  Deuteronomy 30:19(I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life that both thou and thy seed may live). (Joshua 1:8)The bible said we should not allow the book of law to depart from us; we should meditate on it day and night. King David said Psalm 119:11(Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee). We are to teach our children, let them grow with the knowledge of God. What you don’t teach your children they will not know because children always watch and imitate their parents. He succeeded in chasing Adam and Eve from the camp of God where all their interests are being protected and stole their dominion. Jesus Christ came to restore our stolen kingdom and the only way to access your throne is to believe and receive him as your Lord and savior. In case you have not received him, why wait, hurry up!

WOMEN OF FAITH (HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR DELIVERANCE) MARY MAGDALENE PART 2

 

Mark 16:9(Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils).

Matthew 12:43(When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seekeing rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept and garnished. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation).

Mary Magdalene was an interesting character in the ministry of Jesus Christ. She was delivered from seven demons and she maintains her deliverance by becoming Jesus Christ’s disciple. After her deliverance she remained in a relationship with Jesus and today we are still talking about her, that’s how to maintain whatever we have received from him. If you really want to maintain the victory and the freedom you have enjoyed you need to continue to abide in him. Jesus Christ first appeared to Mary before anyone else because of her belief and trust in Jesus. She was the first to spread the good news of his resurrection. She became a vessel of honor fit for the master’s use.  Timothy 2:21(If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work). We are all expected to imbibe her character in order to maintain our deliverance. She continued to follow Christ and fill herself with the word of God, that way the unclean spirit could not get access to her. John 15:3(Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4 abide in me, and I in you As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me). The reason why some experience backlash after their deliverance is because of spiritual emptiness. Some go back to their vomit while some leave the space empty thereby given the devils an opportunity to reinforce their attack on them. Satan does not like losing his captive. If you refuse to abide in Christ; Satan will come back for you with a stronger chain than the one you were delivered from. The situation of that individual will be worse than the first and some will start blaming God or the pastor. I am not saying, there are not fake miracle workers out there. The scripture cannot be broken. Our anchor scripture (Matthew 12:43-45) has explained everything we need to know about maintaining our deliverance. You cannot deceive God; he knows your intention before you even come to him. It is to you according to your Faith. You need to take responsibility. It is his responsibility to heal you when you come to him and to teach you how to maintain it. It is your responsibility to continue to abide in him. I pray for someone reading this, your deliverance shall be permanent in Jesus name. The first step to your freedom is salvation. Matthew 15:25(Then came she and worshipped him, saying Lord, help me. 26 But he answered and said it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs). John 1:12(But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even them that believe on his name). Friends, if you are not yet a member of this family, make a decision today and you shall be free in Jesus name.

WOMEN OF FAITH: (SPREADING THE GOOD NEWS) MARY MAGDALENE PART 1

John 20:17(Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. 18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord and that he had spoken these things unto her. 21 Then said Jesus to them again, peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you).

As a redeemed child of God, our primary assignment here on earth is to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. Mary was the first person to see Jesus Christ after his resurrection and she took the news to the rest of the disciples. Proverbs 25:25(As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country). There are souls waiting to hear the good news from you, just like the disciples of Jesus Christ waited for the good news from Mary. Peter rushed to the same spot when he heard the good news of the resurrection of Christ (Luke 24:12). Jesus Christ instructed us to take the good news to the whole world. Mark 16:15(And he said unto them Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature). It was the first assignment and when we do it genuinely every other thing that men look for shall be added unto us (Matthew 6:33).  The people of the city in Samaria rushed to the same spot to find Jesus when they heard the testimony of the Samaritan woman (John 4:29,39-40). I have been using my testimonies to draw others to where I found Jesus. Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God and he has given us the same assignment. The ministry of reconciliation was given to every believer because Jesus Christ said in John 10:16(And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd). Your testimony is your instrument of evangelism; it is your proof that you have indeed encountered Jesus, not the number of scripture that you can quote. God has given women a special gift in the area of spreading news; let us use it to do the work of God. Examples: the Samaritan woman, Mary Magdalene, The woman with the issue of blood who touches Jesus Christ garment received her healing and then spread the news to others and they did the same and got the same result. Not like the women that put David in trouble with King Saul (1 Samuel 8:7-9). The rate in which the people of the city of Samaria rushed to find Jesus should give us an idea how thirsty people are for good news. Jesus said the harvests are ready and they that reaped received their wages (John 4:35-36). Friends, join the laborer today and you shall be rewarded in Jesus name. We are created to enjoy close relationships with God but Adam and Eve lost it when they allowed Satan to deceive them. Satan stole their inheritance and that has affected us. Jesus Christ came to restore what we have lost but except we accept him as our Lord and savior we cannot be restored to our original state. (John 1:12)(Revelation 5:12). No fish can survive outside water the same way we can do nothing without God.  The bible said that as cold waters to a thirst soul, so is good news from a far country. That’s how it feels when you find a solution to your problem. Get connected today and be saved in Jesus name.

WOMEN OF FAITH (BE A GENUINE SEEKER)

John 20:10(Then the disciples went away again unto their own home. 11 But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: as she wept, she stooped down and looked into the sepulchre).

Joel 2:12(Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting and with weeping, and with mourning).

A genuine seeker does not quit until they find what they are looking for and that’s the mentality of a winner. As we continue our journey here on earth God expects us to carry the mentality of a winner. You have to take responsibility because life will not give you want you want except you fight for it. Life is a battle field. That is the reason why we need a warrior mentality in order to succeed in life.  Matthew 11:12(And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force).  The instruction that Jesus Christ will rise again after three days was given to all his disciples. After he was crucified, they all went back to their home except the women that kept going there to check. They even went to his grave with spices to anoint him and that is how they discovered that he was no longer in the grave. Anytime I meditate on this particular subject it brings tears to my eyes. Mary has a genuine love for Jesus no wonder she was the first to see him after his resurrection (Mark 16:9). Those who genuinely seek God found him. The bible said seeks and you shall find (Matthew 7:7). You will definitely find what you are looking for, but the question is; what are you looking for? You need to define your search because you will be asked. The two Angel asked Mary the same question. Jesus Christ himself asked her the same question (John 20:15). John 20:13(And they said unto her, Woman why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord and I know not where they have laid him. 14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus. 16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary, She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master). She was not satisfied with the answer the Angel gave her; she kept pressuring them to tell her where they had kept Jesus until he appeared to her. Jeremiah 29:13(And you shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart). I don’t know what you are looking for or what they have taken away from you. The good news is, as you seek God first, you shall find all things that you are looking for in Jesus name (Matthew 6:33). When I joined Winners Chapel newly in 2008, I was asked the same question by someone because I was so addicted to service and fellowship. She said what is it that I am looking for? My response to her was I will soon find what I am looking for and she will see it and I will relocate. That is exactly what happened. I got two job offers at the same time even though I don’t really know how to pray but I keyed into all the testimonies from the altar and I got the same result. Friends, you need to be passionate in your searching just like Mary and you will find him in Jesus name. Psalm 126:6(He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him). Imagine the expression on the face of Mary when Jesus appeared to her and the other disciples when she gave them the good news. The most precious seed that you can give to God is your heart because that is the connection link between you and him. In case you have not connected your heart with him, here is another opportunity today. You can’t find him and remain the same; your story is changing today in Jesus name.

LENDING TO JESUS (KEY TO SUPERNATURAL BREAKTHROUGH) MATTHEW 25:35-46, LUKE 5:1-8, JOB 29

Luke 5:2(And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. 3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. 4 Now when he had let speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5 and Simon answering said unto him, master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 6 And when they had this done, they in closed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake).

Keys are a very important aspect of our lives as we embark on this journey of destiny. The right key will always open the door when applied. Without the right keys in your hand the journey can be very frustrating. Jesus Christ has the master key that can open any door and he will deliver it to anyone who is willing. Someone will rightly say that Jesus Christ is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, how can we lend to him. Yes you can. God has a lay down principle, although he is a merciful God. We can be getting mercy drops here and there. If you get a sneak peek into what he has prepared for you, then you will know that what you have now is incomparable. If you really want to experience a supernatural breakthrough, you need to know the secret. The bible said that Job was the greatest man in the East (Job 1:3). Job said that when the secret of the Lord was upon his tabernacles; that among many others he was an eye to the blind and a defender of the oppressed (Job 29). The scripture also said, give and it shall be given unto you and the same measure in which you gave shall also be given unto you (Luke 6:38).  

Peter was a frustrated fisherman until he encountered Jesus. He got an opportunity to lend his boat to Jesus and his story change. He would have said no to Jesus because he has the right to do whatever he wants but he chooses to lend Jesus Christ his boat and he had a net breaking experience. You may say, Nene, I don’t have anything to give Jesus. Yes you have, you can visit the sick, visit those who have challenges and encourage them. You can pray for the lost, that’s lending Jesus your time. You can preach the Gospel, that’s lending Jesus your mouth and you can give someone a ride to Church. Matthew 25:39(Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison and came unto thee? 40 and the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me). He knows where the fishes are, he commanded them to enter Simon’s net. He is still the same today, as you make a decision to lend him your boat today you will have what you are looking for in abundance in Jesus name. Ask God to open your eyes to see the right key available for your breakthrough. I decree an end to every form of frustration in your career in Jesus name. Job has a very good relationship with God. Simon answers the call of Jesus. It is all about a relationship. If you are not yet in a relationship with Jesus, here is your chance.
