YOU ARE A SEED

As a believer, you are a seed of Abraham. Like beget like, every tree produces after his kind. John 8:39(They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them if you are Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham). A seed they say will not produce until it falls to the ground, dies and rises up again and then produces in a multiply form. That’s who we are in redemption. If you sow a single seed of corn in the ground and continue to water it, you are expected to reap a harvest of corn in a multiple form; but it takes time and nurturing to see the result. The length of time a seed of corn will take to produce fruit is differs from that of coca seed. The challenges you are facing right now are not peculiar to you alone; people that have gone before you have faced the same challenges, some overcame and their names lived while some fell by the way side and their name perished with them (Matthew 13:4). You will not be that seed that falls by the way side in Jesus name. If your seed is taking time to produce fruit, don’t be in haste because it takes time for coca seed to grow and then produce fruit but when it does it will be more profitable than that of corn and it goes from generation to generation. You need to Keep watering your seed and not give up because God wants to give you generational blessing after the order of your father Abraham. Abraham replicates himself in his children and that brought about Jesus. Jesus Christ replicates himself in us starting from his Apostles. His name was producing results in their hands; that’s the best gift any man can give to his children. If the Pharisee knew that by crucifying him that he would rise up and give birth to multiple Jesus they would not have killed the king of glory. “Jesus says it is profitable for us that he goes away. John 16:7(Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you). Friends, let your challenges drive you close to Jesus and let him make you a thousand times worth than what your enemies are afraid of. As they are pursuing you, keep wetting the ground for your seed to grow and let your enemies slip and fall. Do not be the seed that falls on the wayside, be the one that falls on the good and produce a hundred percent result; keep moving forward and focus on Jesus. Psalm 126:5(They that sow in tears shall reap in joy). That shall be your testimony in Jesus name. Your heavenly father wants to be proud of you; he wants you to produce a hundred fold results in his hand but you need to abide in him in order to produce that kind of result. THE GLORY REALM

Ephesian 1:20(Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in which is to come).  Ephesians 2:6 (And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus).

The glory realm is every believer's dream land. It is a realm of the supernatural; it is a realm where you will be made to sit together at the right hand of God in Christ Jesus. In this realm principality and power bow to you. Wow, you are getting there in Jesus name. That’s our destination; we are from above and he that is from above is above all (John 3:31). In this realm to manifest your destiny become very easy because your enemies have been subdued before you. They will become your footstool and you will begin to rule in their midst; but it takes spiritual maturity to get to this realm (Psalm 110:1-2). You need power because without power your enemies will not submit themselves to you. Psalm 66:3(Says unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee). We are meant to be far above our enemies, but not every one of us is there yet. The enemy will not bow to you until you are at right hand of power; it is only when you are there that you can boldly say “in the name of Jesus” because as you mention the name of Jesus, your enemy will look to see where you are calling Jesus from; if you are on the floor they will mock you but if you are at the right hand of power they will bow. Paul the Apostle was operating in this realm that even his apron was used to heal the sick and cast out evil spirits but the seven sons of Sceva were not there. Act 19:12(So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from the, and the evil spirits went out of them. 13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the LORD Jesus, saying we adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth 14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests which did so. 15 And the evil spirit answered and said Paul I know; but who are ye? 16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded). It is called the overflowing realm. The woman with the issue of blood touches the helm of Jesus Christ’s garment and was made whole. The glory realm is when you are so full of anointing that it begins to impart on others. Anointing is in levels; the level of your anointing will determine the level of your manifestation (Ezekiel 47:1-5). Some of us are still at the ankle level whereas our destiny requires the level of rivers that could not be passed over except to swim. We need to be swimming in anointing. God has indeed prepared a table for you and me but to eat of this table we need to take responsibility. Psalm 23:5(Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over). Friends, only those who are really hungry and thirsty are permitted to sit at the table prepared by God (Psalm 63:1-2). Until your cup runs over your enemy will not allow you to eat off the table that God has prepared for you in peace. Your legs need to be on their neck before you can enjoy your food. As you make a decision to be thirsty and to follow him I will see you in your glory realm in Jesus name. The first step towards your manifestation is a decision to be saved and this simple salvation prayer below will settle you for life.

REFLECTING HIS PERFECT IMAGE

2 Corinthians 3:18( But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord).

Proverb 4:18(But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day).

We are created in the image of God. Before the fall of man in the Garden of Eden; man was created to reflect the perfect image of God. Man lost this perfect image due to sin and to recover our identity, Christ has to come and reconcile us with God. The bible teaches us that after God created a man, he breathed upon him; I believe that’s the point where the Spirit of God entered a man. Genesis 2:7(And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul). Adam died spiritually when he disobeyed God by eating the forbidden fruit. The soul that sinneth shall die (Ezekiel 18:20). Mark 8:36(For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul)? The spirit of God, the glory that makes man a true image of God departed and man became empty and naked. At new birth; when you give your life to Christ, the power to become the perfect image of God will be deposited in you and it needs to be activated if not it will remain dormant (John 1:12). John 3:5(Jesus answered Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. 6 that which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit). For man to reflect the perfect image of God; he needs to go through the process of spiritual modification. He will move us from glory to glory until others are able to see him through us.  It takes a walk with God to reflect his perfect image; just as he told Abraham to walk before him and be perfect (Genesis 17:1). We already have the picture of what we want to look like, so as we fix our eyes on that picture, we will continue to change into the same image from glory to glory until we become an exact replica of God. This picture is the word of God and the spirit of God is our guidance and our helper. John 1:1(In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God). The word of God is called the perfect law of liberty; our freedom is guaranteed if we did not allow it to depart from us (James 1:23-25). (Joshua 1:8) He also guarantees us good success as we keep beholding him. God has created a path for us to walk through and it is a shining light that will keep shining more and more. Friends, your success has no limit, if you will continue to walk through the path that God has created for you. Without the presence of God in your life you can’t walk through this path successfully. God provides light for the children of Israel although their journey in wilderness day and night (Exodus 13:21). The light was a sign that God’s presence was with them. He is still the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrew 13:8). God’s will is for us to become his perfect image; that’s why he gave his only begotten son in order to have us back. This sacrifice will be in vain if you keep avoiding him and if you have already accepted him as your Lord and savior, then keep beholding his face until you reflect his perfect image.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR ASSIGNMENT: MATTHEW 25:14-26

Matthew 25:14(For the Kingdom of heaven is as a man traveling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods 15 And unto one he gave five talents to another two and another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. 16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. 17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. 18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money. 19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them).

We are here on assignment; God has given us talents according to our ability. Just like the lord who gave his servants talents according to each one’s ability and expect them to trade with their talents. Everyone has something to offer including you so don’t look down on yourself. What we do with our God gift is what defines us. Your location does not matter; the color and the quality of the talents are the same. The only difference is the quantity because he knows your ability. It is to everyone according to their ability but he still expects you to do more. That means the man who received one can overtake the person who received five if he proves to do more. In this race overtaken is allowed. Your background and location should not be an excuse for your failure. It is our responsibility to make use of what God has given to us. Jesus is our perfect example; the bible says we should look unto him (Hebrews 12:2). Jesus Christ was born in a place where sheep are kept. Luke 2:7(And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn). He was raised by a carpenter but he knew who he was, so he refuses to be held down by circumstance by taking responsibility. He went to meet John to be baptized without holding hands with his parents. He was listening to the Doctors and teachers without his parents (Luke 2:46-49). It is unfair to blame our parents for our failure; in this race when you fail, you are alone but when succeeding, people will celebrate with you. Everyone that received talents from our anchor scripture above traded with their own except one person who decided to hide his own, but that will not be your case in Jesus name. Your uniqueness is what you need to make a difference and that is the only way your story can change. God will ask you to give an account of what he gave to you; what would your response be, because that will determine your next levels. You will not be a failure in Jesus name. Hurry up and begin to trade with your talents. It is not too late; Abraham starts at 75years and Moses at 80years. Start by aligning yourself with the one who gave you the talents and he will clear every obstacle for you. He will not allow you to face any challenge that you are not equipped to handle; that’s why he gave according to each one’s ability. God is calling you today the same way he called Abraham and Moses and made them a star. It is a call to freedom, a call of salvation and this is your time; in case you have not answered his call, do it right now and be blessed in Jesus name.

OUR WARRIOR KING

Isaiah 9:5(For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood, but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire, 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of peace).

The battle of life is inevitable; it is something that we must do. In every battle, both warring parties will arrange themselves in a battle array with their weapon ready and then draw the battle line. At this stage there is order but when the battle starts it will be with a confused noise and garments rolling in blood. There will be no more order all you will see at this point is blood and dead bodies falling to the ground. Every warrior knows that death is unavoidable except you are on the winning side. The battle is between the kingdom of God and Satan. The only winning side is the side of God and you can’t lose if you align yourself with him.  Queen Esther says “if I perish, I perish” (Esther 4:6). That’s the mentality of every warrior. They are ready to perish and that’s what makes them a conqueror. Without war there is no conqueror. Jesus Christ is our warrior king and he has made us also kings and queens to reign here on earth (Revelations 5:10). We are warriors because life is a battle and only the skilled warriors made it to the end. You will not drop out in Jesus name. The bible announced the coming of Jesus Christ through Prophet Isaiah and he describes him as a warrior King with a different battle strategy better than those that have fought before him. He came with burning and fuel of fire that does not quench. He has equipped us with the same weapon of warfare to destroy our enemies; but it can only work if we engage them. Hear what John the Baptist says concerning Jesus. Matthew 3:11(I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: 12 Whose fan is in his hand and he will thoroughly purge his floor and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire). Jesus Christ came with fire in his hand and he has baptized me and you with this fire. Act 1:8a (But ye shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost is come upon you).  Your enemies will only submit themselves to the power of God in you (Psalm 66:3). If we must win this battle we need to carry unquenchable fire. Jesus Christ’s battle starts from his birth; Herod seeks to kill him (Matthew 2:1-18). So, don’t be surprised if they are seeking to take your life. Despite the attempt, they failed woefully and he made it to the end. The cross was his destiny, Satan tried to stop him and he failed. He fought to the end and won the victory and God gave him a name that keeps tormenting Satan and his agent till today. God is ready to give you a crown if you can fight to the end. Paul fought to end and said that the crown of righteousness is waiting for him (2 Timothy 4:7-8). To be a warrior Kings and Queens we need to be ready to fight in order of Jesus and Apostle Paul. They overcame him the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimonies (Revelation 12:11). You shall overcome in Jesus name. You have the blood of Jesus and the Holy Ghost fire and many more weapons to win this battle please engage them. Every warrior developed their muscles through regular exercise. In this case we keep ourselves in shape by keeping the fire burning on the altar of prayer and fasting and by studying the word of God. The bible says he will burn the chaff with unquenchable fire but those who are on his side will enjoy his names: wonderful, counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting father and the prince peace. THE VIOLENT TAKE IT BY FORCE

Matthew 11:12(And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and only the violent take it by force).

Isaiah 9:5(For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire).

Life is indeed a battlefield not a funfair; your adversary (Satan) who has hijacked your destiny is not a gentleman and you should not be a gentleman either. The only language he understands is violent. It takes violence of Faith to possess your possession. He was referred to as a strongman and to disarm him you need power (Matthew 12:29). This power we are talking about does not come cheaply; it requires a lot of sacrifice. Your enemies need to be afraid of you that as soon as they hear your name they will take cover. Let him know that you are no longer a cheap meat for him. You are destined to live a heaven on earth life but he has vow that you are not going to enjoy life here and also make heaven. It is your responsibility to stop him from denying you of what God has prepared for you (1 Corinthians 2:9). The bible makes us understand that it takes a stronger man to disarm the strongman, and we all know that Jesus Christ is the strongest man that can defeat him. So, it is wise to align ourselves with him by following his footstep because without him we can do nothing (John 15:5). Jesus said that we will do greater works than him, which means we have the potential to disarm the strongman (John 14:12). As many that received and believed him, he gave them power to become a son of God (John 1:12). The power needs to be activated before it can work. Satan is not going to surrender to you just like that; you need to force him violently.  Jesus Christ has taught us what to do. He is our mirror and a perfect example. He rolled his garment in blood with burning and fuel of fire because that’s what is expected from a warrior and he has taught us the same thing. He started his journey with fasting and prayer. The only way to acquire power and retain it is through prayer and fasting, because some situations will not give up without prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21). Jesus continues with prayer unto the end. Luke 22:44(And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground). The psalmist says through the greatness of thy power shall thy enemy summit themselves unto thee (Psalms 66:3). That means the enemies can actually summit themselves but not without a fight. You will fulfill your destiny in Jesus name. Your enemies will surrender to you in Jesus name. Faith is very important because that’s what all these things we are talking about are built upon. You need to believe in God and his word. And also believe in Jesus and the victory he has won for you and me in the cross of Calvary. Faith comes by hearing the word of God. If you don’t believe in Jesus you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven, there is no other way to go about it and you cannot follow the footsteps of the person you don’t believe in. The first battle you need to win is salvation. By giving your life to Jesus, you have given Satan your first blow and the defeats continue. Take this first step today and be blessed in Jesus name.

TIME ALONE WITH GOD

Genesis 32:24(and Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled with him a man with him until the breaking of the day. 25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him 26 And he said let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said Jacob. 28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed).

If you want your story to change, you need to do it alone with God. It is between you and God but it is your responsibility alone to take a bold step that will lead to your change of status. You need to think it through and make up your mind. Jesus Christ was with his disciple at the place called Gethsemane but he was left alone with God to pray his way to the cross (Matthew 26:36-45). At the cross he was not crucified with his disciples or his mother. He alone was given a name that is above every other name. Jacob was left alone and he wrestles with the angel for a change of story. Complaining will not change your story but action will do it. His name was changed from Jacob to Israel. You have to be uncomfortable and get tired of being on the floor while you are meant for the top. “There is no star without a scar, the scar in every star is the sacrificed” Bishop David Oyedepo. Jesus Christ’s blood was the sacrifice and the stripes in his body were the scar. Jacob’s hollow joint was the sacrifice he made to be a star. In the circular world the football stars and the wrestler have their scar to show for their name. Spiritual desperation is the key for a change of name. You need to be desperate for a change of story if not your situation will never change. Jesus Christ is our mirror and he was left alone and he prayed for the fulfillment of his assignment here on earth. His prayer was not a gentleman's prayer because the bible said that his sweat was like a great drop of blood. Luke 22:44(And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. 45 And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow). That’s warfare par excellence. Life is a battlefield and you need to do it alone with God (Matthew 11:12). Imagine the result Jesus Christ would have got if he relied on his disciple’s prayer for a change of name. The Angel appeared to Jesus and strengthened him because he was doing it alone. The Angel appeared to Jacob and gave him a new name because he was alone with God. Being alone with God is very necessary for a change of status. Friends, as you make a decision to be alone with God in this season I see your story changing in Jesus name. Today, we don’t need to get a hollow joint like Jacob and we also do not need to be crucified like Jesus. All we need to do is to believe in his sacrifices and follow him. Prayer and fasting is part of the sacrifice we need to pay for a change of story. We really need to deny ourselves some pleasure to keep pressure away from our lives forever. Jesus has guaranteed us results. John 16:33 (These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world). The first sacrifice that is expected from us is a decision to be saved.

YOU NEED A CHANGE OF NAME

Genesis 17:1(And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. 2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. 3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, 4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee).

Everyone wants a change of status; nobody wants to remain at the same level forever. As we continue our journey here on earth, sometimes it is necessary to have a change of name if we must manifest our destiny to the fullest. It takes an encounter with God to have a change of name. God does not change people’s name because he wants to, you need to earn his trust. God called Abram to come out of his father’s house and walk before him and he did. Abram walks in obedience with God and that leads to his change of levels. So changing his name was a promotion.  He told Abraham to walk before him and be perfect. He changed Abram’s name to Abraham; from father of none to the father of many nations and he also changed Sarah’s name from Sarai to Sarah. And their journey continues; changing of names requires total surrender, it is now according to his will and not yours. What happened to their name? Why is it necessary? His name was still called Abram even after he was called by God and he continues his good work with God. It doesn’t matter how old you are, what matters most is your relationship with God. His name became Abraham when he entered into a covenant with God. God upgraded his name based on covenant. This means both parties have a responsibility. The term of the covenant between God and Abraham was well defined in the whole chapter 17 of Genesis. Name changing is a covenant. In winners, the naming ceremony is called covenant naming. Today we all are beneficiary of the covenant between God and Abraham. It was extended to Abraham’s seed and the bible describes us as a seed of Abraham by redemption (Galatians 3:29). Galatians 3:13(Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith). The covenant has not changed; it gets better by the coming of Christ which makes it easy for me and you to fit in. As we enter into this covenant a seal of ownership is place upon our forehead which state ‘’keep off, this one belong to God’’ Paul boldly says in Galatian 6:17(From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the mark of the Lord Jesus). New birth automatically confers to us a change of name and status. Colossian 1:13(Who hath delivered us from darkness and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son). It is our responsibility to maintain the name and add value to it by keeping to the term of the covenant. If you have not entered into this covenant with God, this is the right time to do it and receive a seal of ownership in your body (Ephesians 1:13).

HIS NAME LIVES FOREVER: ACT 3:1-16, ACT 5:28-42

Acts 5:28(Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us. 29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. 40 And to him they agreed: when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go).

The only name that the kingdom for darkness is afraid of is the name of Jesus; we really need to bear in mind the importance of name as we continue our journey here on earth. So many great men and women in the bible died but their name lives on forever here on earth. That’s what destiny is all about, adding value to your name. If you do not add value to your name, no man will be able to benefit from it. Even your children will not be proud of your name. But that will not be you in Jesus name. The Pharisee and their allies thought they had finally got rid of Jesus but his name lives on and continue to torment them to the extent that they commanded his disciples not to speak in his name ever again; because his name continues to set their captive free. Friends, your enemies are afraid of the same name; all you need to do is to have faith in his name. That challenges, sickness and diseases, set back or whatever they call it has a name and whatever has a name bow to the name of Jesus. I personally came to recognize the power in the name of Jesus because whenever I am taken unaware by unpleasant situations, the only thing that used to come out of my mouth both physically and spiritually is the name of Jesus. As soon as I called his name things began to happen and I said to myself wow! What a name. Why was I surprised? You may ask, because my conscious self was not in operation and I depend absolutely on his name. Just like a little child who depends on her parents for everything. That’s why Jesus said that for us to enter into the kingdom of God we should be like little children having no strength of our own but depending on him. That’s how Jesus Christ obtained the name for us, he absolutely dependent on God for guidance even unto his death. Matthew 18:2(And Jesus called a little child unto him and set him in the midst of them, 3 And said, verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven). We need to lay it on his shoulder. He is not complaining. Matthew 11:28(come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest). Friends, your adversary the devil is afraid, only if you will engage the authority in the name of Jesus. Only the children are entitled to take up their father’s name, no matter how close you are to a family you cannot use their name except by adoption. Today, Jesus is calling you to come and use his name. Do not miss this opportunity to chase your enemy away.

MY REDEEMER LIVES: JESUS IS ALIVE (EXPERIENCE THE WONDER OF HIS RESURRECTION)

 

Matthew 28:2(And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat upon it. 5 And the Angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus which was crucified 6 He is not here: for he is risen as he said. Come, see the place where the lord lay. 7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and behold, he goeth before you into Galilee, there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you).

The grave could not hold him captive. He defeated death, death was swallowed up in victory; he did it for me and you (1 Corinthian 15:54). Because he lives you shall live also in Jesus name. The stone was rolled away. Every stone blocking your advancement shall be rolled away in Jesus' name. The same force that rolls the stone away from his grave, the same force that raises him from the dead shall raise you up from the ground today in Jesus name (Romans 8:11). Your freedom is finally here because the grave is open; you are coming out today in Jesus name. He rose up with a glorious body. You are rising in your glory form in Jesus name. Jesus has paid the price; so stop paying the debt you owe no more and enter into your realm of glory right now in Jesus name. Romans 8:11(But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raise up Christ from the dead shall quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit that dwelleth in you). He that is born of spirit is spirit (John 3). You cannot experience the power of his resurrection except you are born again. It is very important to know in order to avoid disappointment.  He appeared to Mary first because she went to seek him. She believes that he is alive. First, you need to believe in him and seek him and then he will appear to you. Friends, what a great time to accept him into your life in case you have not and if you have disconnected, you can reconnect also by saying this prayer of salvation.

GOOD FRIDAY (EXPERIENCE THE WONDER OF HIS SACRIFICE), MATTHEW 27

Matthew 27:35(And they crucified him and parted his garments casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots. 36 And sitting down they watched him there; 37 And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. 38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left. 39 And they that passed by reviled him wagging their heads, 40 And saying , Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. 41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking him with the scribes and elders, said, 42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross and we will believe him. 45 Now about the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. 50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose).

It was supposed to be a Sad Friday but it turns out to be a Good Friday. Jesus says, it shall turn to you for a testimony (Luke 21:13). Satan was given a red card on this day. It was a day of great exchange because he took our place and delivered us from sin and Satan. They thought they had got rid of him; it turned out to be the greatest mistake of the kingdom of darkness. The bible said if they know they would not have crucified the Lord of glory (1 Corinthian 2:8). God turns their wisdom into foolishness. God will turn the wisdom of your enemy into foolishness in Jesus name. It is the day that you and me were set free from captivity and reconciled with God the Father. He took away shame and reproach from us, so we don’t need to labor under it again. He does not deserve what he went through but someone needs to pay the price for our transgression; he did it for us. The veil of covering was torn so that we can see clearly. The graves were open. Friend, you are coming out of that grave situation in Jesus name. It is very important to recognize this day and all the sacrifice. If you have not given your life to Christ, today is the best day to do so and be blessed in Jesus name.

FREEDOM FROM SLAVERY (HE PURCHASE A NAME FOR US BY SACRIFICE)

Philippians 3:8(And being found in fashion as a man, he humbles himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow of things in heaven, and things in earth and things under the earth).

Ephesians 3:14(For the cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named).

A slave does not have a surname; they only take the name of their master. As soon as they are sold into slavery, they are strip of all they have including their names. That’s how bad it is. They enter into bondage with a new identity their master gave them.  It does no matter whether they are prince or princess before they were sold into slavery; the same chain and the same treatment for all no preferential treatment. Adam was named by God; God created him in His likeness and breathed upon him that makes him his father; so he carried God’s name as his surname. Ephesians 3:15(Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named). After Adam encountered Satan, he lost the right to use his surname and enter into slavery and was chase out of his palace. Jesus Christ came to redeem us and reconcile us to God by sacrificing himself because someone needs to pay the price for me and you to get our surname back. Before he could do that he needed to add value to his own name and earn God’s respect. God announces to his disciples twice that Jesus Christ is his son (Matthew 3:17, 17:5). It is one thing to call God our father but it is another thing for God to accept us as his sons and daughters by pronouncing it from his mouth. It takes sacrifice to get to that level. You will get there in Jesus name. Jesus got his name by humility and obedience. He humbles himself and obeys God unto death. It takes humility and obedience of faith in his name for us to be able to add value to our own name. His name is not cheap. Nothing good comes cheap; your adversary (Satan) will make it difficult for you to get the right to use the name of Jesus because he knew that if you have access to the name, you will be free from his captivity. The name of Jesus means freedom; chains of slavery are broken at the mention of his name. His name nullified poison (Matthew 16:18). The only name that Satan and his agent bow to, so to be a son and daughter of the most high God and boldly use the name of God as your Father; you need to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. He that is born of the Spirit is spirit (John 3:6). The name of Jesus is our ticket that we need to present to receive the right to call God our father. John 1:12 (But as many as received him, to them gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name).
