IT IS A LOVE AFFAIR: 1 JOHN 4:7-21

 

Psalm 84:11(For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly).  1 Corinthians 2:9(But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that loved him).

Any relationship that is void of love cannot stand the test of time, both parties have to love and care for each other. People are careful not to hurt their lover and many will go the extra mile to make their lover comfortable and give them the best gift in the whole world. When both parties love each other, which is very rare, their life becomes very easy and stress free. A stress free life is what God has designed for us because of His love for us. The picture painted to us, describing what the Garden of Eden looks like should give us the example of God’s love for us from the beginning. People are more attracted to their children that look and behave like them in a good way. God loves us so much that He created us in His own image and before He created man He has already made everything that man needs to live a comfortable life. And when man betrayed Him; He was still moved to cover man’s shame by making a cloth for them out of animal skin. He did not give up on man and He looked for a way to get His lover back by sacrificing part of Himself, His only begotten son (John 3:16). Love without sacrifice is not love; one sided love is not love; love is symbiotic in nature not parasitic. A parasitic love is selfish love and does not qualify to be called love. Love is reciprocal, Love looks for a way to make each other comfortable; love does not skim against itself; when your enemy is angry with you he will go after what  you love most in order to hurt you. Satan hates humanity because of the love of God toward us and he will do anything to destroy humans in order to hurt God’s feelings. You can only say that someone betrays you only when you are in a trusted relationship with the person. God felt betrayed by Adam and Eve because He trusted them and He was in love with them. His Love for them died and the spirit of God left them. So, we can rightly say that Love is a spirit; it is a very strong emotion. Love reconciles us with God and Jesus Christ is the symbol of Love; for him to agree to come to this world and suffer because of us, shows how much he loved the Father and us. He felt the emotional trauma that God the Father was in when He lost His lover and He agreed to come and get us back to Him. 1 John 4:10(Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for sins). He describes his relationship with the Father as a love relationship. John 15:9(As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love). Now that Jesus Christ has reconciled with God, the only way to maintain our relationship with Him is love. Matthew 22:36 (Master which is the greatest commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy mind).  Love is the number one requirement in building our relationship with God; Love is the rock of the foundation in which our relationship is built upon (1 Corinthian 10:4, Luke 6:47-48). Love is the root in which every other requirement we need to build our relationship with God grows upon (John 15:1-2). Jesus Christ is love and when you have him in you; your relationship with God will stand the test of time. The wind will definitely blow but nothing will happen to your relationship with Him. Joseph said that he can’t do this evil and sin against God (Genesis 39:9); he did not consider sleeping with his master wife sin against him but he considers it as a sin against God. That is how the battle of life is being won because no human being is perfect if you want to consider human, you will be the most sinful man and woman on earth because you will see a thousand reason why you should do evil against them but when you see God in every human you will win the battle against Satan. God said that he will not withhold anything from his lover and that eye has not seen nor ear have heard the things which He has prepared for his lover. The condition is that we have to love Him back in order to receive the gift. The bible says we loved Him because He first loves us (1 John 4:19). People reveal secrets to their lover and not hide anything from them, much more our God who loved us so much; That’s why He always reveals secrets to Joseph and Daniel. Friends, if you want God to be revealing things to you, the requirement is Love. Jesus Christ is Love and if you have him in your life you will not find it difficult to love and meet the requirement for building a relationship with God. God’s love for you is unquestionable that’s why you are alive today to read this message but you need to demonstrate your love for him by accepting His sacrifice Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior and begin your journey with Him.

IT IS A PERSONAL THING

Ezekiel 36:26(A new heart also will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh and I will give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments and do them. 28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people and I will be your God).

Life is a battlefield; we came to this world to war against the Kingdom of darkness whose agenda is to stop us from fulfilling our destiny. This battle is being fought alone; it is an individual battle because the greater your destiny the fierce your battle with the kingdom of darkness. In order for us to win this battle and get to our destination; which is the top most top that God has ordained for us; our relationship with God who knows our beginning and our ending is paramount. Our relationship with God is personal; He created you alone and He calls you alone “God does not call a group, He calls individual” (Bishop David Oyedepo). God wants to relate with us on a personal basis, He does not want anyone to misinterpret what He is telling us. It will be a slap on our redemption for someone who we are smarter and more righteous than to be manipulating us in the name of prophecy. It is your right to hear the voice of your father; I pray for you today, that your spiritual ears will be opened in Jesus name. God has worked out everything that will make our journey smooth and He wants to personally lead us through it. The righteousness of your father cannot take you to heaven; you need to work out your own salvation. Philippians 2:12(Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only but now much more in my absence work out your own salvation with fear and trembling). Joseph was left alone to fight his battle and he came out victorious because of his personal relationship with God. Building a relationship with God is not a day job; it is a gradual process and we need to work it out with Him. Love, trust, obedience, and the fear of God are among the things that are required in order to make our relationship with God work perfectly; they walk hands in hand and without them there is no relationship. When you love God you will trust Him, and your trust in Him will make you obey Him and also to fear him and to do the right thing. You are to carry out His instruction with fear and trembling because it is only when your obedience is complete that your rewards will manifest for all to see and glorify your Father in heaven (2 Corinthians 10:6). The fear we are talking about is you doing the right thing even when no one seems to be watching. God has put His Spirit in us so that we can relate with Him on a personal basis. He said that His Spirit will cause us to walk right before Him. No one can walk perfectly with God without the spirit of God; the spirit of God is the channel in which God communicates with His children (Ezekiel 37:14). Your father’s relationship with God cannot help you, the only thing he can do for you is to teach you and he cannot give you what he does not have. Even the one who has a relationship with God finds it difficult to cause their children to walk with God; Eli’s children do not walk in the footsteps of their father and also refuse to build their own relationship with God and they bring problems to the entire Israel (1 Samuel 4:11-20). You will be a blessing to your generation and not a curse in Jesus name.  1 Samuel 2:12(Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the LORD). Eli the high priest did not train his sons well but the LORD said He knew Abraham that he would command his children and his household to follow his footstep and teach them the way of the LORD (Genesis 18:19). He was a blessing to the whole world and we are part of that blessing and also a beneficiary. Every redeemed child of God is Abraham’s seed. Abraham taught his children the importance of building their relationship with God because he knew that his righteousness cannot take them to heaven. Being in a relationship with God is for our own good; Abraham became very great, Isaac became an envy of the nation and Joseph became prime minister in a strange land because they worked out their own relationship with God. God was leading them every step of the way; we have a better covenant than them because the spirit of God now dwells in us. There is something that God may want to tell you concerning your journey that is meant for your ear alone but if you are not in a relationship with him how would you know. John 16:13(Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that he will speak: and he will shew you things to come). Relationship is not by force, it is by agreement and someone has to initiate it; God has already indicated His interest and He is waiting for you to accept Him. Friends, please don’t keep him waiting; accept him as your Lord and savior in case you have not and you will never miss your step again in Jesus name. O Lord, take away my stony heart and replace it with a heart of flesh in Jesus name.

BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD: PART 2

Matthew 7:24(Therefore whosoever heareth these saying of mine, and doeth them I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended and the flood came and the wind blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it).

As we continue in this line of topic "BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD" we understand that a house that will stand the test of time cannot be built in a day; the same way every relationship requires patience, time and diligence in order to last. Both parties need to be patient with each other; that’s exactly what God requires from us as He continues to lead us through the journey of destiny. Any relationship that void communication cannot last because it is built on assumption; that’s why God wants your spiritual ears to be open to His instruction. Where there is no communication doubt reign and that makes it Satan’s permanent residence but that will not be you in Jesus name. God promises to lead and guide us through our journey here on earth but he needs our cooperation in order to make it happen. Psalm 32:8(I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye). God took time to build David up and they gained each other’s trust. Saul disappointed God because he did not understand God the way David does. David spends time with God and learns at His feet; the bible tells us how many times he prayed and praised God a day. Psalm 119:164(Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments) Psalm 55:17(Evening and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice). He needs to hear your voice constantly; that’s how to build a relationship with Him; a close associate is he who understands each other because they spend more time with themselves. People naturally want to work and be with the person he or she understands. For us to successfully build a lasting relationship with God we need to spend more time in His word and be consistent in fellowship. Jesus Christ, our rock came to show us how to build our relationship with God. He said the Father has not left him because he does those things that please him (John 8:29). We know how he always goes on separation to be alone with God and to commune with Him. The wind blew severally and did not carry him because of the strong foundation that his relationship was built upon. The bible says we should look unto Jesus and follow his footstep (Hebrews 12:2). Jesus says that if we believe and follow his footstep that we will do a greater exploit than him (John 14:12). He said he did not do anything on his own that he did what the  Father told him and he has given us the Holy Spirit to help us do the same(John 14:10-18). Friends, we need to rely on God for everything and let us stop walking on assumption, He is not bothered; He is always there for us. David always makes an inquiry to know the mind of God before taking any step, that is one of his conqueror secrets. God knows everything and He will not want you to fail or be defeated. He always reveals the secret of the enemy to David, that’s how the battle of life is won; it is all about knowing what the opposition is planning. Whether you like it or not, you are in a battle and it is real but your victory depends on the sides you are; and how reliable, and how strong is your relationship with your master. Even Satan supported his loyal servant who gave him blood anytime he wanted but not against a committed child of the most high God; when the prophets of Baal were face to face with Elijah, Satan did not appear (1 Kings 18:23-40). Because the blood of Jesus is more potent than any other blood they suck in their kingdom. The levels of your relationship with God will determine the kind of revelation you will be getting; that’s why we need to tune in our spiritual antenna. I don’t know the level of your relationship with God now but there is always room for improvement. God describes how the level of our relationship with Him will determine the kind of revelation we will get from Him using Moses as an example (Number 12:6-9). Imagine me comparing myself with Papa, Bishop David Oyedepo); I am still a work in progress. Everyone desires to grow in all aspects of life. That's why I know that you will improve in your relationship with God in Jesus name, it is for your own good. You need to be a sheep and recognize that you need a shepherd that is the secret of a winner. David said the LORD is his shepherd (Psalm 23) and God said Moses is the meekest man in the face of the earth (Numbers 12:3). Ask for the Baptismal of the spirit of meekness and obedience in order to follow God faithfully and He will give it to you in abundance. The last battle you lost will be the last you ever lose in Jesus name; from today your name will be called a winner. Friends, the first step towards building a relationship with God is salvation; take this opportunity today, to enter into a relationship with Him or to rekindle your relationship with Him by praying this salvation prayer below.

BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD: PART 1

Psalm 127:1(Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that built it: except the LORD keep the city the watchman waketh but in vain).

House is not built in one day; building goes through a process and until the requirements are met you cannot say that you have successfully built a house. After you get the land and the necessary documents, you need to do the clearing and then the foundation. The word of God says except God builds a house they labor in vain to build it; that means we need God in everything we do. You will not labor in vain in Jesus name. If the foundation is faulty what can the righteous do? (Psalm 11:3). In every relationship foundation matters a lot; you cannot say you are in a relationship with God, if Christ is not there. Every relationship needs to be built on a solid foundation in order to stand the test of time because the wind will definitely blow. You cannot stop the wind from blowing towards your direction but you can reinforce your building and avoid calamity.  God has a requirement put in place in order for us to build a successful relationship with him. He wants a close relationship with us; it gives him joy because that was exactly what he had in mind when he created man in the first place. The relationship between man and God was broken after the fall of man in the Garden of Eden. Jesus Christ is our rock and he came to reconcile us with God and if we want our relationship with God to stand the test of time we need to build it on the rock Jesus Christ. Let him be the foundation of our relationship; only then we can say that we are in a relationship with God. Here what Jesus says in the parable of “THE WISE AND FOOLISH BUILDERS”, Jesus made an illustration on how to build a lasting relationship with God. The choice is ours to be made whether to be a wise builder or a foolish builder; any relationship that is not founded in Christ is a waste of time. For a relationship to work out both parties need to trust and understand each other; one sided relationship is not a relationship at all; it has to be symbiosis in nature not parasitic. Note that God does not need anything from us but we need everything from Him. He wants our praises quite alright but it is for our own good because that is a requirement to secure His presence, for He inhabits the praises of His people, and you cannot carry His presence and be a loser (Psalm 22:3). David is our perfect example; the bible says that he has never lost any battle and we all know he was a praiseful man, which makes him carry God's presence all the time. Psalm 18:2(The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower).  He trusted in his relationship with God because he knows the foundation is very strong and in all his challenges he emerges as more than a conqueror because of the good foundation. The Parable above made us realise that building a long lasting relationship with God requires obedience; that is, hearing the word of God and doing it, and it is considered as wisdom. The enemy will not want you to obey, so that they can rob you of your benefits but that is over today in Jesus name. Since a house is not built in a day; salvation is the first step towards building a relationship with God. 1 Corinthians 2:9(But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love him). Friends, there is a lot you stand to gain when you are in a relationship with God; so, be the wise builder by taking the first step towards building your relationship with God today and receive your prepared gift in Jesus name. And in case you are already in a relationship with Him but you are not sure if it can stand the wind, you reconnect also by praying this salvation prayer below.

DIVINE EXPO (KNOWING AHEAD OF TIME): PART 1

John 16:12(I have yet many things to say unto you but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come)

In the journey of destiny; God has everything put in place to make the journey easy and stress free for us. Our God is a God of plan and purpose; He does not waste time and resources, that’s why I know that you are not a biological accident; you are here for a purpose. Since our life is a volume of the book written by God; for us to make the most of our time here on earth we need to know and walk in the plan of God for our lives because His plan and purpose for us are all written down in the book. Knowing ahead what is contained in the pages of our lives makes life easy and stress free. Knowing things ahead of time gets you prepared; God is willing to reveal to us His plan and purpose for our lives in order to give us hope. Jeremiah 29:11(For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD thoughts of peace, and not of evil to give you an expected end). Knowing God’s plan for you ahead of time is what I called DIVINE EXPO. Our God is a loving God, He does not want us to fail; He wants us to finish our journey here on earth well and receive the crown that He has prepared for us. Preparation matters a lot in the race of destiny. That's why God reveals things to His people ahead of time in order for us to be ready and prepared; He does not want us to be taken unaware. He plays the video of our future to us. Every child of God is entitled to revelation; the vision is for an appointed time but knowing it ahead makes it easy for us to wait patiently and to contend with the enemy of our destiny. Habakkuk 2: 3(For the vision is yet for an appointed time but at the end it shall speak and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; it will surely come, it will not tarry). Many committed suicide because of frustration and lack of hope; those who know the good things that are package in their tomorrow will not kill themselves for today’s disappointment. Satan does not like vision and revelation that’s why he master the act of blind folding in order to stop people from seeing ahead of time; he does not want his secret to be revealed to you because it is only a fool that knows what the devil is planning against him and wait for it to happen (2 Corinthians 4:4). Satan wants to keep people in perpetual darkness but God reveals in order to redeem; if you are not capable of dealing with the matter he will not reveal it to you, so quit limiting yourself and make use of the resources that God has given to you. Everything we need to counter the enemies and to fulfill God’s agenda for us in grand style is embedded in the scripture. The bible is our guide as we go through the journey of life; everything we need to live a fulfilling life is written down. We need to pay attention to our dream life; the secret of our life are being played to us in a dream; God chooses how he wants to reveal things to you, waiting to hear an audible voice may just be a waste of time because He may choose to speak to you in a dream. The secret of Joseph’s life was played to him in the dream and he believed in God and that kept him strong and hopeful all through his challenges. No matter how he chooses to talk to you; they all require a close relationship with the Holy Spirit. Number 12:6(And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. 7 My servant Moses is not so who is faithful in all mine house). I believe every dream is a message whether bad or good or disjointed. What you need to know is the source of your dream and how to deal with it. No one reveals a secret to his enemies or his distant associate; people prefer to share secrets with their close friend who will not betray them. Jesus Christ promises us the gift of the Holy Spirit who will reveal the truth to us. God has given us His spirit in order to guide us and to keep us ahead of the devil; that’s why he said that he will show you things to come (John 16:14). Every child of God has the Spirit of God in them; our limitation is the ability to activate that Spirit to work in our favor. Friends, please tune in your spiritual antenna for constant reception from heaven because you need it in order to make the most of your time here on earth. You cannot communicate with the Holy Spirit except you are born again because only the spirit can communicate with the spirit. John 3:6(That which is born of flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit 7 Marvel not that I said you must be born again). From today the enemy will not take you unaware again in Jesus name. In case you have not entered into a relationship with the Holy Spirit or you want to rekindle the fire of your relationship with him; here is another opportunity for you to do so by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed in Jesus name.

THE PAGES OF LIFE: PART 2

Hebrew 10:7(Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me) to do thy will, O God).

This is a sequence to our last segment; if life is a book and the pages open whether I read it or not, how do I know what is written in every page ahead in order to prepare myself for the battle against Satan since his agenda is to waste my time? Good question; the answer is staring at us already. Hebrews 12:2(Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross despising the shame and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God).  Jesus Christ is the author and the finisher of our faith, and he says that he came in the volume of the book to do the will of God; and the bible says that we should look unto him because he finished his book and as we continue to follow him he will teach us and show us how to go through the pages of our own book. Paul the Apostle also was a very good example; in case you think you might have lost something; He still finished well, this example is the fact that no matter what you have lost as soon as you align yourself with God you can still finish well. We are all here on earth to do the will of God and that is exactly what Satan does not want us to do. The bible is the book of prophecy and prophecy is God’s plan for his people, revealed ahead of time. God reveals his plan for us through His word and He also speaks to us directly depending on our relationship with Him. John 12:49(For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak). God is committed to lead us through all the pages if we allow Him; He wants us to willingly invite Him into the affairs of our lives; He does not force himself on people. I call revelation ahead of time divine expo; what that means is that your enemies will not be able to surprise you. Jesus always says the hour is coming; at times he will say the hour has come. John 5:25(Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live). John 11:43(And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice Lazarus, come forth. 44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, loose him, and let him go). The hour actually came and it manifested for all to see; Lazarus that was dead and buried for four days heard his voice and came back to life. Jesus Christ said the hour has come because he knew, it was revealed to him and he knew exactly how to respond to his accusers. That is how to go through the pages without missing any part. God is interested in everything that has to do with you, even the minutest things; not is insignificant. Knowing ahead of time makes life easy for the believers. Jesus said that the time will come when the Son of  God will be betrayed; so, Judas betrayal was not a surprise to him (Matthew 17:22, 20:18, 26 and 27); He also said Peter will denies him 3 times, when Peter eventually does that he was not heartbroken (John 13:38, John 18:25-27). It was very easy for Him to forgive those who crucified him because he already knew and he prepared for the time (Luke 23:34). Some of the things that happen in our lives are already part of what is written in the volume of the book concerning us and knowing it ahead will help us to go through them without stress. Some of them can be very tough, even Jesus Christ who is our example has that moment in his life Mark 14:35(And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground and prayed that if it were possible the hour might pass from him. 36 And he said Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but thou wilt). Remember, he came in the volume of the book to fulfill the will of God and that is the part of the will of God so his prayer was a perfect prayer. At the end Jesus was glorified because he glorified God by completing his assignment. Part of his prayer was Father, I have glorified you by finishing what you have written concerning me now glorify yourself in me (John 17).  Mark 14:21(The Son of man indeed goeth as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! Good were it for that man if he had never been born). He said the spirit of truth will guide us into all truth; the spirit of God in us is our spiritual compass that helps us to navigate through the journey of destiny. Jesus Christ received his crown and Paul also received his crown; you will not miss your reward and your throne will not be given to another person in Jesus name. To follow the example of Christ you need to be part of him because he is the vine and we are the branches and you cannot bear fruit except you align yourself with him. He is the way and he has finished his book; if you really want to finish the pages of your book in grant style; this is the right time to make that decision to follow him by paying this salvation prayer below.

THE PAGES OF LIFE: PART 1

Hebrew 10:7(Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me) to do thy will, O God).

Life is in phases and every one of us has a book to complete whether we like it or not; some never get to know what is contained in every page of their life. This book we are talking about never waits for anyone before it flips; it flips on it’s on as the time goes by and that’s how life is designed to be. When you are born into this world we are expected to grow from infant to an adult; that’s why people find it awkward to see a full grown adult behaving like a toddler. The day you were born is the day your book begins to open. As a child your parents are responsible to help you go through the pages because you are under their training. They are to teach you the value of life and prepare you for what lies ahead. Baby Jesus was with his parents and learned how to be a carpenter and grow to be a responsible adult; they taught him the value of their custom and the fear of God. As we continue to grow the pages will be opening one by one. The point is you can buy a book and never open it to know what the content or the story is all about; the same way some go through life and never know what the content of their destiny is. God is the architect of our destiny and he is the only one that knows your beginning and what your end will be. That means your future is in His hand and His word says that His thought towards you is to have a future. Jeremiah 29:11(For I know the thought that I think towards you saith the LORD the thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end). God’s agenda for you is to finish everything written in your own book; He doesn't want you to miss any pages of your book, He wants everything about your destiny to be fulfilled. God’s plan is for you to fulfill your destiny but Satan has his own agenda for every human being and his agenda is to waste your life (John 10:10). He wants you to go through the pages without knowing what is written in it; he has mastered the act blind folding. 2 Corinthians 4:4(In whom the god of this world hath blinded them which believe not lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ who is the image of God should shine unto them). He has designed so many strategies to stop people from manifesting their destiny; he creates a diversion and paints a negative picture of what your destiny contains. You may open one page and begin to work on it; Satan will try to stop you from fulfilling the task required for you to get a good result. That’s exactly where the battle is; but your own goal is to determine in your heart that you must finish the page you are in quickly without any distraction. The only one that can see you through the pages is God who is the author of the book because no one knows the content of the book other than the author. That’s why you need to align yourself with the writer of your book of destiny in order to show you the way. Jesus Christ finishes his own book to the last page; he knew it was getting to an end despite all the effort Satan made to stop him. At the end he declares boldly that it is finished; that shall be your testimony in Jesus name. Paul the Apostle said that he had run the race, he had finished his course and he was ready to go and receive his crown. Remember, everyone has to finish his or her own book; it is not a matter of finishing but finishing well is all that matters. You will finish well in Jesus name. The result will be manifest for all to see both here on and in heaven because that will determine whether you are going to hell or not. Friends, you can still do something if you put your mind to it, you can stop Satan from interfering in your affair, you can align with the author of your book of destiny today by inviting Jesus who is the way to lead you by accepting him as your Lord and saviour in case you have not and your eyes of understanding will be open in Jesus name. THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS: PART2

Revelation 19:10(And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, see thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy).

Testimony is the manifestation of the act of God in the life of His people; it has power to reproduce itself. Everyone that has passed through challenges and overcome has his or her testimony to share. Jesus Christ has a testimony and his testimony is the spirit of prophecy. Prophecy is the plan of God revealed to His people; which make Jesus Christ’s testimony the plan of God reveals to His people. Jesus Christ is the word of God and the word of God is spirit and life. John 6:63(It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing; the words that I speak unto you they are spirit and life).The bible says, He that has the son has everlasting life. John 6:47(Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth on me hath everlasting life). The bible is the book of prophecy because it contains the record of the testimony of God’s people including Jesus.  Jesus says to the Jews to search the scriptures that they that came before him testify of him (John 5:29). The plan of God for our life is all in the book of prophecy so whatever He says concerns you; if you believe and obey will surely come to pass. There is spirit behind the testimony of Jesus; it is called the spirit of manifestation and the spirit of reproduction. Hebrews 12:2(Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross despising the shame and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God). Jesus Christ is the author and the finisher of our faith and God said we should look unto him; that means Jesus’s testimony is the plan of God revealed to us. He wrote the book and put his spirit behind every word in it; so every part of it you believe has power to manifest in your life and to reproduce in the life of those who believe in your testimony. That’s why he said we can do what he did if we believe and key into his testimony. He is the way; if we follow his footstep we will never miss our bearing in life. Jesus came to demonstrate to us the love of God for us and how to fulfill destiny in grand style. Everything God said concerning him came to pass because He obeyed God to the end. The bible says in John 10:10(The thief cometh not, but for to steal and to kill and to destroy: I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly). The reason why you are frustrated is because the very life that God gave to you has been stolen by the devil but Jesus came to restore to you what the devil has stolen so that you can have a testimony. Friends, all you need to do is to believe in the testimony of Jesus because that’s God's plan for your life and you will be an overcomer. You will not miss your step again in Jesus name; just keep looking unto Him and he will lead you to the path God has ordained for you before you were born because they are all written down in the great book of prophecy and it will surely come to pass in Jesus name. In case you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior; this is the right time to do it because he does not lead strangers; He only guides those who believe in His testimony. Take a bold step towards believing in His testimony today by praying this salvation prayer below.

THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS: PART 1

Life is a battlefield and not a funfair; we came to battle and it begins from the day we were born. If a new born baby refuses to cry the midwife will hit the baby’s back; if the baby cries she has won her first victory and if she refuses to cry then she lost the battle at birth. That’s just the fact whether we like it or not; and in every battle there is a winner. The account of the victory of every winner is a testimony. It is only a winner that has a testimony. You cannot have testimony without a fight. Mathew 11:12(And from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of heaven suffereth violence and the violent take it by force). Jesus came to fight the kingdom of darkness in order to reconcile us with God and the kingdom of darkness fought him back; but Jesus won the victory and emerged as a conqueror King. The account of all his battles and victory are recorded in the New Testament and it is called the testimony of Jesus. His testimony has made it easy for us to go through life without losing any battle. Revelation 12:11(And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death). Everyone that has the testimony of Jesus became a god in human form. In our anchor scripture above; John was move to worship the Angel and he said no to him; that he is just like him and the only difference between them is that he has the testimony of Jesus which he is about to give to John and that will make him a conqueror and men will be move to worship him. If you have the testimony of Jesus you will do what he has done because testimony has the power to reproduce itself. Jesus himself said that if we believe in his testimony we will do greater things than what he has done. John 14:12(Verily, verily I say unto you He that believeth on me the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father). This scripture was made manifest in the life of Apostle Paul; men of the city of Lystra were moved to worship him and he repeated what the Angel said to John that he was just like them the only difference is that he has the testimony of Jesus.  Acts 14:11(And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men. 2 And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker. 13 Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people. 14 Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out, 15 And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God which made heaven and earth, and the sea and all things that are therein). The testimony of Jesus empowers the believer to do great things; you can’t have his testimony and be a loser. You will not lose again in Jesus' name; from today your new name will be a winner. John 16:33(These things I have spoken unto you that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world).  Jesus understood that challenges are part of our everyday struggle because that is the reason why he came and he overcame the kingdom of darkness. Your battle was long over since the day he was crucified and if you accept and believe his testimony, no matter how bad that situation and harassment of the devil is; It shall turn to you for a testimony (Luke 21:13).

ARE YOU READY?

Ecclesiastes 10:15(The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them because he knoweth not how to get to the city).

Life is a journey and Christianity is a race; in every race there is a prize to be won at the end. Your preparation is what will determine your outcome because you can only move as your strength allows. That’s why there is a need for us to develop our spiritual muscle in order to run the race of the year with an outstanding result. Apostle Paul ran his race to the finish line and obtained his crown because he committed to a lifestyle of prayer and fasting and the study of the word. Thank God for what happened last year; even if you did not win any prize, the fact that you are alive to witness this New Year shows that something good has happened in your life. The bible says that in everything we should give thanks to God (1 Thessalonians 5:18). You are alive by His grace and not by power neither is it by your righteousness (Zechariah 4:6); if you are opportune to see this New Year; it is because God has a plan for you; there is something you need to do; there is something you need to get right. Your assignment here on earth is done yet. Perhaps He has given you another chance to get things straight with Him; whatever reason He has in mind it is for your own good. The question still remains the same; are you ready? Sometimes we need to examine our lives and ask ourselves a sincere question. Ability to answer well will determine whether we will run the race well or not. No athlete appears in the field for a race without preparation; the reason why some of them cry at the end of the race is because what they expected did not happen. But that will not be you in Jesus name. Something happened to me at the beginning of last year; after I had set my target for the year 2021 and presented it to God. He said to me; your fathers Bishop David Oyedepo and Dr. Kenneth Copeland whenever they set a target they make a plan and see it through to the end. It was an eye opener; it means that I am missing something and that got me thinking on what the Bishop has taught us on how to follow and pursue God’s plan for our lives. What am I trying to say; I know you have a target, have you made a plan on how to get it done? If yes, are you ready to see it through; your response to the ready question is what will determine your outcome at the end of the year. The first step is for you to get it right with God because your plan without Him is a waste of time. He is the only one that can see you through your journey because as you are planning your adversary is also planning on how to frustrate you. 1 Corinthians 16:9(For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversary). It is their job and delight; your adversary loves great doors; that’s why you need to align yourself with God in order to overcome them. John 15:5(I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in me and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing). You will bear much fruit this year in Jesus name. Friends, if Jesus is not yet in your boat, the storm can be disastrous; please get Him in your boat and ride smoothly through the journey of the year by accepting Him as your Lord and saviour. Whatever you choose to do at the end it shall speak; my prayer for you is that it shall speak loud in your favour for all to see and glorify your father in heaven in Jesus name.
