GETTING INTO THE INNER SANCTUM OF GOD: PSALM 91

Psalm 91:1(He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the almighty).

The inner Sanctum of God is the secret place of the Almighty God; it is a prepared place for every one of His children to dwell in but only few were privileged to reside there. And that confirms the scripture that said many are called but few made it (Mathew 22:14 and 20:16). Everyone wants to be protected and as the children of The Most High God we have this confidence that God is always watching over us. God’s love and His Mercy are for free; someone has paid the full price for us but God has an inner sanctum which is His secret place and this place is reserved for only His lovers. Don’t get me wrong; I am not saying you are not being protected by God; it is just that I don’t want us to keep mistaking His Mercy drops for the real shower. His mercy drops are for everyone but the real shower is for His lovers. 1 Corinthians 2:9(But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him). All you need to do is to find out from the scripture how to get into His inner sanctum; the scripture said we love Him because He first loved us (1 John 4:19). God's love for humanity is unquestionable; He demonstrated it by scarifying His only begotten son in order to save us from our sin and reconcile us to Himself. God does not want this love to be one sided; He wants us to reciprocate His love for us with that He will fulfill His plan for humanity. The plan of God is to see all men saved and reconciled with Him and He has commissioned this work of reconciliation to the redeemed but it is not all the redeemed that is carrying out this assignment, only few are doing it. 2 Corinthians 5:17(Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation). The secret place of the Almighty is reserved for the few who are genuinely doing the work of reconciliation; those who are helping him reconcile the world to Him are His lover. The scripture cannot be broken for He said in Luke 11:23(He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereh not with me scattereth). So, which one are you doing? You should be able to answer yourself. When the seventy that Jesus Christ sent for soul winning returned he gave them power to trample upon serpents and scorpions and over all the powers of the enemy; that is what it means to dwell in the secret place of the Most High God (Luke 10:17-19). Daniel was thrown into the Lion’s den but they could not hurt him not because the Lions were not hungry but because Daniel was dwelling in His secret place; no one has access to his life, not even the hungry Lions (Daniel 6). Friends, that is going to be your new realm from today in Jesus name. The same Daniel says in Daniel 12:3(And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as stars for ever and ever). So, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were soul winners. Fire has no power over the three Hebrew boys because they were dwelling in His secret place (Daniel 3:15-30). Instead the King commanded the people to start serving the God of Daniel and his friends; that is massive soul winning. God said that He would honor whoever that honors Him (1 Samuel 2:30). And how do we honor God, we honor Him by bringing in multitudes of souls into His kingdom (Proverbs 14:28). God will honor us in return by keeping us in His secret place. You may say, but Nene, I love the Lord; I believe you do, but you need to prove your Love for Him by obedience; the work of reconciliation is every believer’s job; we all are ordained Evangelist (Mark 16:16-20). We really need to start taking responsibility instead of claiming all the promises and if you did not see the result you start complaining and doubting God. Why would God say "He that dwells", which means not every believer that is there. God said He will show him His salvation; that means; you will know what salvation really means; you will enjoy total freedom and no one will have access to your life because He will satisfy you with long life. Friends, be among the few believers who are obeying this commandment of reconciliation so that the work of Christ will not be in vain. If you love God you will please Him by giving Him what He loves the most, and God loves souls; He wants you to join Him in His business of reconciliation. John 3:16(For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life). Friends, now that you know what the Lord wants, are you ready to join Him? But you cannot join Him in this business except you are His son or daughter; and you will not have access to His inner Sanctum. The first step is salvation; if you are not saved, you can’t save others; but today is your day of salvation and in case you have not surrendered your life to Christ, you can quickly do so by praying this simple prayer below.

Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I am a sinner, and I cannot help myself, forgive me my sins, and cleanse me with your precious blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and savior. Now I know I am Born Again, Amen.

POWER TO LAY DOWN: PART 3 (GENESIS 12 AND 13)

Matthew 11:28(Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light).

Life is indeed a journey and destiny is a race; and we are expected to run without any luggage; Just like in a normal athletic race; you cannot see an athlete on the track with a heavy load on their head; it is not possible. Those carrying load are not on the track, because any little load is a distraction and it will slow down the movement of the individual; and that’s why Jesus Christ has offer us a release; He said before you embark on this race come and lay down your burden at his feet in exchange for the one he will give you so that you can move fast. He said we should learn from him; but we can only learn from someone that has run his own race to the finish line with his crown on his head. He is the way and the truth; you cannot follow him and miss your way; he wants to teach you how to win the race. The irony of life is that some are still carrying their burden and expected to make it to the end. The race is an individual race; you are alone; no mother, no father, no sister, no brother and no friends. An athlete who is running a race can represent his or her country but the recognition and award belong to him or her. The golden boot is given to a football star and not his country. Which means you also can bring glory to your family and friends when you run well but if you drop on the way they will be the first to scold you. Friends, face your race first and then you can return back with your medal for celebration. So many people are running the race with a heavy load on their head.

As a believer, most of our frustration came from the inability to lay down what we are holding too tight; let it go. It may not necessarily be our physical possession; it may be an unhealthy relationship; it may be a past relationship; it may be hurt from the past; it may be a relationship that has expired but we refuse to let it go. Such a thing has a way of keeping people in one spot and setting us back; and if we remain in one spot, how then can we make progress. In this segment we are going to look at the relationship between Lot and Abraham. God called Abraham alone into the race of destiny not with Lot but He did not stop Abraham when he wanted to go with Lot (Genesis 12:1-5). Genesis 13:5(and Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks and herds, and tents). Initially their relationship was helpful to Lot; but as time went on it became sour, full of strife and so much tension; and it was in the good interest of both parties to pathways in order to save their connection. Abraham went for his defense when he was threatened; he also interceded on his behalf when God wanted to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot and his family were rescued because of Abraham’s relationship with God. There will be a level where their relationship would have reached and they will not care about each other’s safety anymore but they never allow it to get there. Whenever things are not going the way it should in our lives, the best thing to do is to look inward and around us and see if there is anything we need to amend or let go of, in order to move forward. The only thing we are permitted to hold tight is God because without Him we can do nothing; we can’t afford to let Him go. If we hold on to an expired relationship or hurt of the past, we make it an idol and it has taken the place of God in our lives; and God does not want to share His space in our heart with anyone. Let God handle things, so that we can have peace, he said “Come unto me” He can carry it, so lay it down at His feet and move on without any burden. Friends, I am glad to announce to you that you are the next Abraham to see beyond where you are standing right now in Jesus name. Genesis 13: 14(and the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, southward, and eastward, and westward: 15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever). Note the word “after Lot was separated from him” I don’t know what is standing as Lot in your race of destiny; please let it go. If that relationship is clouding your journey; please let it go; that unforgiveness is clouding your journey, please let it go; the pain of the past is slowing you down, please lay it down at the feet of Jesus in exchange for peaceful and restful race. You have the power to lay it down; just do it and move forward John 10:17(Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father). Jesus Christ is calling those who are still carrying a burden and need help; in case you have not made him your Lord and savior; please invite him into your life today by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed in Jesus name.

POWER TO LAY DOWN: PART 2

John 3:16(For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life).

In the journey of life, we are to follow the footstep of our Heavenly Father who created us in His own image; only then can we make headway. He lay down His only begotten son, so that He can have us back to Himself. When God created the first man He sowed a seed of blessing to them; but He first of all gave him His breath. Genesis 1:28a (And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it). From the time God created man He has never stopped giving to man. (Genesis 1:28-30) shows us how God was just given man everything without asking for anything in return. God will not ask us to do what He has not empowers us to do; that’s why He taught us how to give by giving to us; the best way to teach a child is by showing them example. if I am meant to release something into your palms and your fist are close, you won’t be able to receive it; and if you don’t release what you locked in, there is no way you can receive what is available for you; so nothing goes out and nothing comes in; and that is stagnation. The blessing of God is meant to flow through our hands not our head; but if your hand is always close; how then can the blessing flow through it. The ability to lay down is a cure to every form of frustration in life; Peter laid down his boat for Jesus to use after toiling all night and caught no fish. Some people would have been very angry with Jesus after a frustrating night of no fish but he did not. Luke 5:4(Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for draught. 5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net). Friends, I don’t know that things that refuse to work in your hand; it is time to lay it down at the feet of Jesus; Let him use it and revive it for you. Peter’s boat refused to work; but when he gave it to Jesus it began to work perfectly; Peter did not change location, it was the same Peter, the same boat, the same water and the same net. A night of frustration was terminated on the platform of giving. The love of God in our heart is what empowers us to surrender our life to Him; God loves the world and He gave His only son and in return He has many sons; Jesus loves the Father and he surrenders his life as a sacrifice and the Father loves him and gives him everything. Peter’s breakthrough experience has already shown us that God has giving everything to His son; because Jesus knows exactly where the fishes were; the same way he knows what you are looking for and how you can get them without stress but the scripture cannot be broken, you just have to surrender. John 3:35(The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. 36 he that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him). And the scripture said in 1 Corinthians 2:9(But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him). Friends, I want us to note something from this scripture; God has prepared blessings for his lover; it is already prepared waiting for you to lay down whatever that is contesting with your love for Him. Our God is a jealous God; God wants us to dedicate our life to Him as a living sacrifice; that means, our own will is no longer important; we surrender everything to Him; we accept to obey His commandment and allow Him to rule over our life. Are you tired of your life; is your business and career frustrating you, are you toiling like Peter and the net refuse to catch a fish; are you contemplating suicide or are you just counting days; is your health challenge; are you now an object of mockery among people; then this message is for you; it is time to lay them down. I call this prayer below small but mighty; just continue to meditate on it and you will have your testimony in Jesus name.

Pray this prayer: Lord Jesus, I am tired and I need help; I am ready to give you everything that I have in exchange for my peace, thou prince peace help me. Lord Jesus, take all of me and give me more of you; take all of me and give me more of your Holiness, I need more of your righteousness O Lord; take all of me and give me more of your faithfulness.

POWER TO LAY DOWN: PART 1

John 10:17(Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father).

In life, we all have some level of power; most importantly is the power to lay down what is required in order to take hold of what is available for us in redemption as the redeemed child of God. Jesus Christ is our example in the journey of life; he leads and we follow (John 16:24); he said that he had power to lay down his life and also has power to take it back. We may not necessarily have to die a physical death but we have the power to die to self and take the form of Christ. Choosing to serve God is a sacrifice; it is never convenient but it is a commandment and this commandment came with power. The statement that Jesus Christ made that he had power to lay down his life and also has power to take it back is very true just like every other word spoken by him even though the Jews thought he was possessed (John 10:19). We also have the same power and the same commandment from the Father because as the Father sends him so he sent us also. It is a commandment to serve only one true God but you have the power to choose whether to serve him or not. Your ability to make your choice is the power to lay down what he was talking about. Our life is a seed and the scripture said that until a seed is sown it abided alone. Jesus Christ sows his life as a seed and he draws men to God including me and you. John 12:24(Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. 25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal). He sowed his life as a seed just for 3 days and the harvest is everlasting and whoever you introduce to Christ is still part of the harvest. I think what we should desire most as a believer is the power to lay down. The enemy knows, that is why he will try to discourage you not to lay down what is required for getting your desired breakthrough. He tried to convince Jesus through Peter not to lay down his life. Matthew 16:22(Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. 23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men). So many people are holding onto something that they need to let go of, so that they can move forward. You can be addicted to something and until you let go of it, you will remain in the same spot. Our willingness to lay down is the proof of our love for God and Jesus said that the Father loves him because he laid down his life. Friends, I don’t know what kind of life you are living now, if it is not in line with what God wants it may be hard for you to access your next levels or your throne, please let it go. Sacrifice is letting go of what you love so much; in case you have come to love the world, I am appealing to you, let it go; drop that bottle, drop the substance, stop the fornication, quit the lies and the deception; quit the corruption, let it go. You may be thinking that it is profitable but the glory that lies ahead of you is worth more than any of those. Jesus was famous during his earthly ministry but he is even more famous now than then both in heaven and on earth. Philippians 2:9(Wherefore God also highly exalted him, and given a name which is above every name). 2 Corinthians 8:3(For their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves; 5 And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God). You cannot love two masters; you can only be loyal to one at a time. it is time to make a choice; choose who you want to follow; the bible said that you have the power to give yourself to the Lord; now is the time to exercise that power by surrendering your life to Christ in case you have not; let him be your Lord and savior; and every other thing you were struggling to drop will fall off you on their own accord.

THE TRANSFORMING POWER IN THE WORD OF GOD: PART 3

A call to Christianity is a call to transformation; Jesus Christ called his twelve disciples and transformed them to be like him. We are replicas of what we give our attention to; which means if we give our attention to God and the things of His kingdom, we would be like Him. If we give our attention to the world, we will be conformed to the world. Acts 4:13(Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus). That’s what transformation is all about, it will make people notice you and take a second glance at you again. The reason why they are still ignoring you is because nothing has changed in your life and the only way you can see changes is when you allow someone that is better than you to enter into your life; and no one is better than Jesus. Our transformation comes by hearing and doing what the word says. James 1:23(For if any man be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 but whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed). Transformation is a gradual process; that’s why we need to continue doing what the word says we should do; because as we continue beholding Him in His word we will be changing into his image from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). Peter and the rest of the disciples continue with Jesus unlike Judas Iscariot who betrayed him; Luke 22:28(Ye are they which have continue with me in my temptations; 29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me). God is the one that raises the poor from the dunghill and places them among the princes; and it is only the poor who beholding his face that receive their transformation. The changes of status can only happen if we hear the word and put it into practice. John 8:31(Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, if ye continue in my word, then ye are my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free). So, our freedom is in the word of God; the truth will set you free from satanic manipulation and blindfolding. That change you desire is in His word; the transformation you want is in the word of God. The word of God is very powerful and quick. When a man or a woman is transformed by the word it will be showing in every aspect of their life. “It is only a fool that doubts proof” Bishop David Oyedepo. Your transformation testimony shall be manifest for all to see in Jesus name. If you don’t like the result you are seeing; if your result is not what you think you are, which means the original has been corrupted and you need transformation. The word of God said you are a chosen generation; a royal priesthood; a king; a queen and yet you are not seeing anything like it. Friends, it is time to wake up to reality and fight for what belongs to you because you have to be what God has called you to be. The enemies are working day and night to keep you in darkness but Jesus Christ has given you the weapon to defeat them and to release yourself from their clutches. King Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 10:6(Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place. 7 I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth). That is satanic exchange; but the word of God is powerful to reverse it. When you hear the word; it will paint the picture of who you really are to you and then you can lay hold on what has been stolen from you. The word will give you hope and energy to stay strong and fight. To get the servant from your horse requires a real fight because he has gotten used to the luxury that is meant for you and makes you believe that you are a servant. Joseph did not accept the defeat that is why he was reinstated to his original position. I don’t know what the world has made you to be but today this message from the oven of heaven will transform you in Jesus name. A drunkard was not created to be a drunkard; or have you seen a little child craving for alcohol; A prostitute was not created to be a prostitute; a thief was not created to be a thief; the world reframe them to be what they are not meant to be and the only things that can transformed them to their original image is the word of God. The word of God needs to enter them and renew their mind and give them the mind of Christ. When the mind of Christ enters the mind of Satan will give way. No one deliver Rehab from being a prostitute, her encounter with the word of God did; she heard about the word of God; His strange acts and strange works in the life of his people and she believed. God is still speaking and the Spirit is still moving; it is your responsibility to position yourself for the word to work in your favor. Someone’s life has transformed already, Glory be to God. In case you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, this is the right time to accept him because he is the only ticket you need for your life to be fully transformed.
