HOW SOLID IS YOUR FOUNDATION

Psalm 11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? 

Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

The battle over our glorious destiny is real but more real is our victory in Christ; Jesus Christ is the rock of our foundation; he is our rock of defence and our protector; our light in the dark and our shadow in the sun. No one can be successful in this journey without answering the question of the solidity of his or her foundation. The scripture said that our Rock is not like their rock (Exodus 32:30-31), why? Because our Rock goes with us in the journey; when we move he moves with us as long as we follow his direction. He is the way and the truth; He can do anything based on the situation, just to make sure that those who trust in him succeed in their assignment. He is everything you want him to be. The bible said all things were made by him; that makes him everything that we ever need to live a comfortable life here on earth.  John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. As soon as the Israelite move from Egypt he goes with them. 1 Corinthians 10:4 (And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.). He is the only Rock that dispenses water; He was their shade in the sun and their light in the dark; no wonder the darkness hated him so much; he rain down bread for them from heaven; remember he is the bread of life (John 6:35) When Moses requested to see the glory of God; and because no one can see God and live; the same rock cleft for Moses to hide himself in him. I am sure God was saying to Moses; how strong is your foundation? Exodus 33:20 (And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. 21 And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by): To see the glory of God manifest in your life you need to stand on the rock and ask him to cleft for you. The only way we can survive and get forgiveness from God is to hide ourselves in him. Whenever you hide yourself in His word, God sees the clefting rock not you. When you are inside him that makes you one with him; which means whatever that is going to hurt you have to pass through him; and we all know that, this rock we are talking about is indestructible. There is no other foundation other than Jesus; every other ground is sinking sand. It was said in Psalm 11:3 If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do? I have good news for the righteous; Let Christ be your foundation because he is the only foundation that cannot be destroyed. I choose Jesus to be my foundation; the choice is yours to make. God will not force you to choose; He can only advise you to choose life which is Christ Jesus. I found myself on a faulty foundation.; but I kept crying to God to deliver my foundation. One day God showed me where I was in miry clay, in a horrible pit and tried to come out but no one was willing to help me; I cried and no one offered me help; guess what, I struggled and I came out. The filthiness and the mud that was all over my body caused the people to stay clear of me but I found  water nearby and I washed myself clean with it. As soon as I woke up, the Lord gave me this scripture in Psalm 40:1 (I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. 3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD). And I said truly God has heard my crying for rescue; it was a great deliverance and I give glory to God. as many that are reading this message who have been crying to God for their deliverance; i decree your total and complete deliverance today, in Jesus name. It was a foundational deliverance. I am saying this for you to know that God is not a man and He has not forgotten you; you are a work in progress. I am a living testimony; my testimonies are too many to be shared in the altar; it is volumes of books and can only be doled out like this in a message. At times, it may look as if it is not working; just like our slogan in Living Faith Church, Jahi, ¨IT IS WORKING¨ believe me, truly, it is working. So, keep standing on the rock and you will not be put shame, in Jesus name. We can only be made righteous in Christ, even Moses could not see the glory of God until he stood on the rock. No matter how good you think you are; If you don't have Christ, you are building on a faulty foundation and your work will be destroyed with fire. The question is this, are you still standing in a faulty foundation and in need of a change of story?  God  wants to cleanse you with his word and he wants to establish your going but you need to come out of the miry clay first; His hands are stretched out to receive you; please run to him by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed in Jesus name.

STANDING ON THE ROCK

Deuteronomy 32:30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up? 31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

Life is a battlefield and not a funfair; we are here on earth to war against the enemy of our destiny and the solidity of your ground will determine your victory. As a believer God wants us to constantly have the mentality of a warrior; the awareness of who we are will help us as we continue in this journey; so, we need to think and act like the warrior that we are. The reason why the Israelite cannot be easily extinct despite being surrounded by the enemy is because of their awareness of who they are and their environment. It is not their fault, that is who they are; so from childhood they were trained on how to defend themselves against the enemy of their destiny. God separated them and because of that, they were being hated but that does not mean they hated anyone; not at all but they are just being defensive in order to preserve what God has given to them. As a believer, we are in a hostile environment because we are not of this world, so the world hates us and considers us as their enemy. We need to bear it in mind that the world will always be skimming against us; we are not a friend of the world; so, stop flirting with the world if you really want to manifest your destiny. John 17:14 (I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world). Jesus said that he has given us the word and the world hates us; so you were hated because of what you have and what you have is more precious than what the world has and to preserve what you have, you need  a mentality of a warrior. Being a friend of the world will automatically make you an enemy of God (James 4:4). God has a plan and purpose for you before you were formed in your mother's womb and that is why you look the way you are; He figured everything out before you were created. Your gender, race, shape, colour and your location does not affect your manifestation; you are the perfect fit for that particular purpose God had in mind before you were formed. If the ground you are standing on is slippery you will not be able to win this battle against the world; that is why as a believer we need to build our relationship with God in order to stand on a solid ground.  John 1:1 (In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God). Jesus is the rock of our foundation and he is the word of God and he is dwelling in us. God is the rock of ages; He gave himself to Jesus and Jesus gave us what the Father gave him and we are expected to manifest after the order of our Father; because as he is so we are in this world (1 John 4:17). John 17:23 (I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me). 

Deuteronomy 32:4 (He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he).  We are to be perfect because our Father is perfect. Matthew 5:48 (Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect). Friends, our anchor scripture above said that the only way to win this battle is to stand on the solid Rock and that even our enemies testify to the greatness of our Rock which is God Himself. I have good news for you; the Rock is inside of you and that makes you a more than a conqueror entity but if you don't have Christ in you, your ground will be sinking and that's not what God wants for you.  The question is, do you want the Rock? THE WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE PART 5

Psalm 63:1(O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; 2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary).

 

A call to serve God is a call to war against the kingdom of darkness; and the wilderness is a battleground. God deliberately throws the callee into the wilderness to battle with the devil in his domain; that is, you are right at his doorstep; telling him to come out for war. Psalm 66b (but the rebellious dwell in a dry land). Jeremiah 51:43(Her cities are desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwelleth, neither doth any son of man pass thereby). So, you are the only son or daughter of man there; you are alone, face to face with the devil and all the beast; there is no option than to trust God completely and to be bold. It is only the sons and daughters of God that can survive the wilderness. I use to be  scared but times comes that i was force to live with scorpions in the same room because i can´t be running around; it was either me or the scorpions and i choose to stay and crush them; i killed 45 scorpions in a space of 4 month and i am still killing them; the same Nene, that use to be afraid of cockroach before now; that's what the wilderness teaches me. You cannot serve God with a chicken heart; you need a heart of a Lion because you are the son and the daughter of the Lion of the tribe of Judah. there is no genuine manifestation without this battle; so, to make it faster, God wants you to take the battle to Satan and quickly put him under your feet in order to enjoy the table that God has prepare for you in peace while he watch helplessly (Psalm 110:1-3 and Psalm 23:5); David was there and kill the beast that dare to come near him. In the wilderness you are meant to drop humanity and take the form of divinity because no son of you survives the wilderness; that's why they are not there; you are highly divinized or highly demonized. He told Moses after his first forty years in the wilderness when he went on an exile that he had made him god to Pharaoh (Exodus 7:1). God said you are god; but your divinity will not manifest until you successfully come out of the wilderness. Psalm 82:6 (I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. 7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes).Those who refuse to follow God's leading through their journey fell; but you will not fall, in Jesus name. they said to Paul ¨ that the gods had come in a human form (Acts 14:11). And you have read his account of the wilderness experience in part 4 of this topic. (Roman 8:35-39 and Philipian 4:10-19). 1 Samuel 10:9 (And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day). God gives king Saul a new heart without wilderness experience but David was in the wilderness for training and to learn how to follow God's leading and also how to slay Lions and bears. He lives among the beast in dry and thirsty land and the result was made manifest when he slay Goliath and also all through his lifetime. It was recorded that he never loses any battle; no wonder the Lion of the tribe of Judah came from his lineage. That's exactly what God is expecting from us; the ability to conquer. David testified about the glory of God because he saw Him in the wilderness; going through the book of Psalm is the account of David´s wilderness journey and how he was able to conquer. He experienced the awesome presence of God (Psalm 23 and Psalm 91). Any one who is dodging the full wilderness experience will end up losing their throne like king Saul and if you refuse to obey God's instruction, you will lose your throne to Satan like Adam and Eve. The result of David and Saul will teach us the needs for this awesome journey through the wilderness. And secondly the result of Adams and Jesus will show us the importance of this wilderness journey. It is very clear that God did not want to punish us but rather to empower us for victory. THE WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE PART 4

Psalm 63:1(O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; 2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary).

 

The wilderness is a dry and thirsty place; but the dryness is not meant to kill you nor to punish you; rather it is meant to increase your desire to seek and trust God. When you are in the wilderness everything around you is dried up but there is hope of dew and flow of river and abundant rain if you will not give up. Jesus Christ went through  the same experience and that's why the devil tried to give him a suggestion; he told Jesus to turn the stone into bread. The Devil will always come with suggestions but it is left for you to accept his advice or rebuke him immediately and that is what Eve refused to do instead she went into dialogue with the devil. When you are in the wilderness you don´t give the devil space because he is going to be around you in the wilderness because that is his domain; Psalm 66b (but the rebellious dwell in a dry land). Part of his ministry is to destroy you and cut your wilderness journey short but; concerning you, he will not succeed, in Jesus name. You are there in the wilderness to defeat him and to put him under your feet, and he also knows that God is with you but being a skimmer he is not going to be aggressive he will use subtle approach by suggesting things to you. He will say, how can God say that he loves you and that he has chosen you and also separated you to Himself and yet allow you to go through this hunger and thirst all in the name of power. He will now say, oh you know there is a faster way to end this suffering and get the power. One thing the callee should bear in mind is that he or she is not suffering but in a serious training, God is preparing you for the assignment and your assignment is to destroy the work of the devil. 1 John 3:8 (He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil). The reason why God throws you into the wilderness is to be empowered. God wants you to stay in the satanic domain and learn all his tricks. Those who really went through this journey successfully are terror to the satanic kingdom; Satan cannot undo them because they have seen it all. And they cannot be separated from the love of God because they have seen His awesome power and have experienced His undying love.They have had time to learn how God leads and how to follow Him step by step. Those who truly know God will defeat the devil anytime and any day; Daniel says those who know their God shall do exploit (Daniel 11:32); you made an exploit in ministry, in Jesus name. Romans 8:35 (Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord). Everything that Apostle Paul listed in the above scripture are the attribute of wilderness but he made it and became more than a conqueror entity. In the wilderness God provides your needs and not your wants; but many have mistaken that part of the scripture (Philippians 4:10-19); God revealed that to me during my wilderness journey. He said to me ¨my daughter, the reason why you are stressed is because your wants are not meant; but remember you are still in the wilderness and you cannot be wanting because you are still moving and also i promise to provide your need and not your want. He also said, whenever I feel this way I should check myself and adjust. Friends, that's exactly what I learn to do and it works perfectly. The children of Israel entered their promise land before they start building their houses and acquiring properties; (Deuteronomy 8:1-18) the only house they build in the wilderness was the temple of God of which they carry along with them and now we are the temple of God by redemption (1 Corinthians 3:16-17).The mistake most of the callee do make is to want to start acquiring property while in the wilderness and that will result in frustration and distraction; and then the individual may wind up in the hand of the devil who will gladly take them back to Egypt. But concerning you, your case is different in Jesus name.  Psalm 66b (but the rebellious dwell in a dry land). Friends, If you are experiencing dryness and you have not given your life to Christ; that is curse and not wilderness experience; and you cannot afford to continue like that without any hope. Christ in you, is the hope of your glorious future. That kind of dryness can only be terminated by God because there is no hope of wetness or dew; it is only God that can turn your wilderness into a fountain of water.

THE WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE PART 3

 Exodus 7:16(And thou shalt say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear). 

 

Life indeed is a journey; and it can be very frustrating if you don't have the picture of where you are going; and those who have no bearing are wanderers. Those who are still in bondage have not begun their journey yet because they are held bound in chain and satanic prison. We are not here on earth to be a speculator, we are here for a serious business; and serving God is a serious business. Luke 2:49 (And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business)? Business is about exchange of goods and services with the intention of making profit in return. God has power to set you free and to give you inheritance as his sons and daughters but Satan is a slave master he uses people without anything in return; he is a user of men, an abuser, and a bully. Our God is not a user of men; in fact he rewards those that diligently seek Him (Hebrew 11:6). God has an offer for the Children of Israel; freedom and wealth in exchange for service. Many have choose freedom and wealth without the service and that´s the reason why they have fail their wilderness exam and sold themselves back into slavery. You cannot be without service because you are here on earth to serve; the issue lie on who you choose to serve; and this have become a serious matter today. You may ask, Nene, but God is a Supreme God; He is the creator of the universe; why does He need to explain to Pharaoh the reason for His children's freedom. They are slave and they need to be delivered from the hand of their slave master; Adam sold man into slavery; but God choose the tribe of Israel to bring salvation to man and it won´t be without a fight. It is still happening today, Satan has held people that are meant to serve God, that are meant to bring glory to their generation in bondage; they are now serving Satan instead of God.  God said to Pharaoh, let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness. Wilderness is a place of service unto God; we are to use our wilderness year to master how to serve God acceptably because it is not all service that is acceptable to God. If your service is not accepted how then would you expect to be rewarded; no one pays for a rejected service. There is a way to serve God; He wants us to succeed and He did not want any of His servants to make a mistake and return to Egypt, that's why He sent them into the wilderness for training. In the wilderness we learn how to follow God, step by step and also how to separate His voice from the voice of a stranger. Your journey here on earth will not start until you are free; how can you move when you are in chains. I pray for someone reading this message now, that is still in any form of bondage; that chain is breaking now in Jesus name. The scripture below tells us how the children of Israel took their journey from Succoth.

Exodus 13:20 (And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness. 21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: 22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people).

The Israelite learned how to work with God in the wilderness and pass it on to their Children and that's why the Nation of Israel cannot be exterminated till today. Your wilderness experience is not to punish you instead, it is to teach you obedience because without it you cannot follow and serve God acceptably. Wilderness experience is to teach you how to depend on God for everything. Wilderness is a danger zone, any little mistake can get you killed; the option is to follow God's leading, because there is no other way. Some have been on the journey and made a mistake and have trespassed in a wrong direction and find themselves back in prison and this can be more frustrating because the individual has tasted freedom; but that will not be you in Jesus name. God set the rules of service; the wilderness has a rule and our part is to follow the rule in order to survive and receive our inheritance. Obeying the rules of the wilderness is what will keep the LORD with us because no one survives in the wilderness without Him. Friends, In case you have wandered away and wish to return back; i have good news for you. God's hand is open to receive you back and if you have not started the journey with God yet; congratulations because today is your day of salvation; please quickly join this train by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour and be blessed in Jesus name.

THE WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE: PART 2

 Matthew 4:1(Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, if thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread).

Everyone God created was created for a purpose but not everyone is able to achieve that purpose due to their own choice or misguided ideologies; one thing for sure is that if you are not needed you won’t be here on earth.  Every great destiny has only one enemy who has determined to truncate their destiny and that enemy is Satan; but God in His infinite wisdom has developed a way of training every willing soul on how to actualize His purpose for their life. Please note the difference between curse and wilderness experience; those who are under curse experience hardship without hope of overcoming but those passing through the wilderness have an expected end because they are no longer under any curse or bondage. They know exactly what the future has for them; they can see the end of the tunnel but the people that are still in bondage live in perpetual dryness. There is always an assignment and a promise before embarking on a wilderness journey. The assignment is to serve God; and the promise, is the Land that flows with milk and Honey. But many have choose to pursue the milk and honey and not the assignment; it is a serious matter. One thing the callee should bear in mind is that service comes before the promised land. The first step is salvation; that is, our deliverance from salvery and bondage and that was exactly the situation of the children of Israel that time, no hope of freedom. And God came down to deliver them with a condition of service. Exodus 7:16(And thou shalt say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear).  He said let my people go to serve me in the wilderness and He told Moses I will bring them into the land that flows with milk and honey. Exodus 3:8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

So, it is a process; deliverance, wilderness and the promiseland; our enemy Satan knows the process but he will be telling the callee; God just wants to punish you and that he can give you the milk and honey without passing through the wilderness experience. What he actually meant is that, you should permit him to take you back to Egypt; he is a liar; he turns things upside down and he will not succeed without your permission. Many have fallen into his trap and some are still falling and some will still fall even after reading this message, but you will not fall into his trap in Jesus name. The purpose of this message is to open our eyes of understanding in order to make most of our assignments here on earth. Eve fell for his trap but Jesus Christ resisted him and Jesus Christ is our example; that's why I know that you will make it; please don´t be in haste and become a waste. It is an experience and it will soon be over and you will soon be celebrated. It is victory before celebration not celebration before victory.

A call of destiny is a call to live a life of separation unto God and that is one thing the wilderness experience has taught us. Another thing to bear in mind is that for you to make it to the wilderness shows that you are no longer in bondage is just that you are separated from civilization that’s why you are seeing signs of people in bondage. Only those who are safe have the privilege of going through the wilderness experience; knowing this will help you to focus on God. Leviticus 20:24 But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people. The question is, have you been separated? Do you want to be separated unto God; if your answer is yes, congratulations! because today is your salvation, your day of deliverance; please quickly pray this salvation prayer below and be free forever in Jesus name.

Matthew 4:1(Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. 3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, if thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread).

The Wilderness is a training and empowerment ground for every man and woman of destiny; but ironically not everyone has the discipline to go through this great experience before taking off on their assignment; many have hurriedly jump on the devil’s offer for quick success and thereby sold their soul to him cheaply. In this first segment of this eye opening topic, we are going to identify all the attributes of wilderness and then start analysing them one after the other as the Spirit lead us and I pray that the Lord will open our eyes of understanding in Jesus name; and also give us the grace to patiently follow Him as He walk us through this amazing topic. But Nene, why this topic? you may ask; because many have mistaken their wilderness experience to be an attack from the enemy; many think God hates them and that’s why He has refused to answer their prayers;  many think they have been sidelined by God; I am glad to tell you that it is not as you think. God is a righteous and Just God; He is not a user of men; He rewards those that diligently seek Him and all you have to do is to wait just for a little while and you will soon be out of the wilderness into your land that flows with milk and honey. One of the ways to survive the wilderness is for you to know that you are in the wilderness; your awareness will give you hope of an expected end. Jeremiah 29:10(For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. 11 For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end). God always tells his children where He is taking them to, and that will give them hope to fight on; the children of Israel were aware of the  promised land so they know exactly where they were heading to; so is everyone that has the call of destiny. Jesus Christ knew the promise of God upon his life and that gives him strength to reject Satan’s offer.

The wilderness is a dry and thirsty place; it is a satanic domain, serpent, scorpion and every other wild beast live there; it is a lonely place; it is a place of lack and want;  it is a place of trials; it is a place of temptation; it is a battleground; it is a place of hunger; it is a place of empowerment; it is a place of an encounter; it is a training and preparation ground; it is a place of separation unto God; it is a place where men drop their humanity and take the form of divinity and it is a place where God show His awesome glory and power to His children whom He has chosen. The wilderness is also called a refiner’s fire; the refiner’s fire never kills or destroys the silver or gold, instead it makes them better and that’s exactly the intention of God when he throws us into this fire.

Every great woman and man of destiny has had their wilderness experience and has their story to tell. It is only those who survive the wilderness that has a story. You are the next to write your own wilderness story in Jesus name. Every genuine call from God drives the callee to the wilderness for empowerment and training. Even our Lord Jesus Christ has his own wilderness experience; as soon as his identity was revealed the Spirit of God led him to the wilderness to be tested by the devil. We have other biblical examples of men who went through their wilderness experience and came out unhurt. We have the example of Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. In our generation now we have so many of them, you just need to read their books and biography. We have Bishop David Oyedepo who doesn’t hide his experience; we have Dr. Kenneth Copeland and Joyce Meyer and many more. Without a genuine relationship with God, Lack and want, hardship and every other thing that may look like wilderness experience is a curse; without God your wilderness is not an experience, it is a reality that has no end. But those who are the children of God; to them wilderness is an experience and a place of empowerment and glorification. Friends, God wants to be part of your journey here on earth; please allow him to walk you through it by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour today in case you have not and be blessed in Jesus name.

WRESTLING WITH GOD: PART 4 (THE EXAMPLE OF JESUS)

Matthew 26:38 (Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me).

Genesis 32:24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. 28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed).

A call to a race of destiny is an individual call; there is no joint destiny nor are there group calls. Everyone that wrestled with God for their change of name was left alone with Him; He does not want us to depend on other people anointing for a change of name; God wants you to come to Him alone. The road that leads to our glorious destiny is a lonely road; Jesus Christ has taught us different ways we can wrestle with God for a change of name. He was our example. Following his footsteps will help us to move faster in our pursuit of destiny. Everything we do to serve God earns us a point with Him; as we continue to follow His commandment of service we are proving to Him that we are qualified for a change of name. The only one that appears before God is the one with a clean hand (Psalm 24:3-4). It is also very important to know the point of the meeting. Jesus Christ was left alone to wrestle with God; His disciples were there but they could not help him. Matthew 26:38 (Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. 39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. 40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? 41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. 42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. 43 And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy. 44 And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words). Jesus Christ wrestle with God for our freedom and God gave him a name that is above every other name. Philippians 2:8 (And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name): it wasn't easy to go to the cross but he did even though he cried (Matthew 27:46). He was left alone just like Jacob (Genesis 32:24) ; he even pleaded with his disciple to stay awake with him even if it is just one hour but they couldn't, which is not their fault because the battle needed to be fought alone. He prayed and pleaded with God to take the cup away if it is possible; even though he knew the cross was his destiny but yet he has to wrestle with God in prayer in order to make it and receive his throne. I am sure Joseph wept in secret asking God to take the burden away; Paul said he pleaded with God to take that one thing away from him but He said that His grace was sufficient for him. 2 Corinthians 12:8 (For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me). Sometimes we just need revelation of what we are going through so we will know how to position ourselves for victory. Every warrior in the scripture that got a change of name from God wrestle with Him alone; it is between you and Him. There is a testimony of a friend who was facing serious challenges; I can testify to some extent that he is really serving and fears God; he engaged the service of so many men of God for prayers but his situation was getting worse everyday. One thing that the sincere ones who are not positioning themselves to take the glory of God keep saying is that God said it is him alone that will pray himself out. What God was actually saying is that he should wrestle with Him. Friends, if you are still hiring professional prayer warriors to pray for you, then you are not ready for a change of name. God does not want anyone to take His glory concerning your life; if Peter and the rest of the Apostles help Jesus it would have shown in their sermon that oh we were with him in mount olive praying to God to help Jesus; so we are part of the victory that God gave him. If Jacob´s wives and children went with him God would not have shown up because Rachel actually has other gods with her and that will have kept God far away (Genesis 31:30-34). I don't know the level you are at right now in your journey but I have good news for you; you will make it to the end in the name of Jesus; God will accelerate your step in the name of Jesus. In case you have not aligned yourself with God, please do it quickly by praying these salvation prayers below and receive grace because the bible says that He gave grace to the humble (James 4:6).

WRESTLING WITH GOD: PART 3 (THE EXAMPLE OF JOSEPH)

Psalm 105:17 (He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: 18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: 19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him. 20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free). 

The future of every believer is bright and it is ordained by God but our approach towards life is what will determine whether we are going to fulfill our destiny or not. We are here on earth for a purpose and everything about our journey here on earth from the beginning to the end is being planned by God; and in order to make the most of our journey and end well we need to align ourselves with God. Most times God plays the video of the end for us in order to get us interested in the journey; the revelation or the dream of what we are destined to be is what encourages us to continue in the journey. God expected us to hold on to the dream which is revealed to us through His word whenever the road becomes very rough and the battle becomes tougher. Gold and silver will not be celebrated if they ran away from the heat; the hotter the fire the more refined they become and every destiny child is liken to a gold and silver; If the goldsmith know that at the end of his work he would not get something valuable out he would not make any effort to blow the coal. Every gold and silver go through the trials of fire and they all come out refined and more valuable. God knows what is hidden in our destiny; He knows what he has put in you and also knows that you can stand all the trials. Every child of God has something to offer but many are unable pass through the challenges; they are stuck not able to move forward. Many have wrestled with Satan and his agent and prevailed but yet nothing seems to change and that is where the problem is. Paul pressed hard towards his destiny because he had seen the end; he knew about the crown (Philippians 3:14). Joseph pressed hard and patiently ran his race because he saw the throne and he trusted God who had shown him his future; he was very sure that the prison was not the end of his journey. His positive attitude towards life is one of his hidden strengths. The word of God came to Joseph in the dream (Genesis 37); the LORD reveal to him that he is going to be a king and he will rule over his brothers; the same word that was revealed to him became a snare to him; at that point the word of God begin to try him. Genesis 37:5 (And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it to his brethren: and they hated him yet the more). He continued to wrestle with God and refused to give up until his word came again and set him free and gave him his throne. Joseph refuse to let go; he held God tight; saying, I know what you show me and what i also learn about you from my father Jacob that you have never fail; and how he wrestle with you for a change of name and prevail; so i am ready for the wrestling and just like my father i would not let you go until you crown me. Secondly, he says to God that he saw the throne and that he must get there no matter what it takes; he refuse to let go of the dream even though everythings seems contrary; he said to God, i heard you cannot lie so my dream will definitely manifest and he ignore all the suffering and focus on the throne. Numbers 23:19 (God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?) Friends, that's how to wrestle with God, you have to make your case based on your knowledge of Him because the bible says you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free (John 8:32). God cannot deny His word; He was bound in chains, he was locked in the prison yet God was there with him for the wrestling. No matter where you are so long you are ready for the wrestling God will make Himself available to you. The word of God is God Himself; that's why the bible said the word of God tries Joseph. John 1:1 (In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God). Just like Joseph, I am sure somebody´s word has come today via this message; Friends, rejoice because your freedom is now and your enthronement is here, in Jesus name. It is not every child of God that is qualified to approach Him for wrestling. You need to prove that you are actually qualified to approach His throne of grace. Psalm 24:3 (Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation). Joseph refused to be defiled, he kept his garment clean and God was always with Him and if you really want to fulfil your glorious destiny you need to emulate him. The first step is to be a child of God; and then you can now position yourself for wrestling. So, in case you are not yet His son or daughter and wish to, then what are you waiting for; grab this opportunity now by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed in Jesus name.

WRESTLING WITH GOD: PART 2

WOMEN, WHO WRESTLE WITH GOD AND PREVAIL (1 SAMUEL 1:8-28, GENESIS 30)

As we journey towards our breakthrough and manifestation of our glorious destiny; it is no longer news that our journey is full of challenges and trials and that's why we need to break through every obstacle on our way. Everyone's challenges depend on the magnitude of their destiny; the bigger your destiny the tougher your battle; that's why you should not be judging your result based on someone else's achievement. These challenges are not meant to weaken us but to strengthen us. We are ordained to overcome them but most times when we have overcome all these obstacles standing in our way, and our breakthrough seems not to be in view then it will be very obvious that the enemies are no longer our problem. The road is clear, no more blockage. This is usually the critical stage in the journey; it can be very frustrating because at this stage you are battle weary after defeating your enemies and preparing to enjoy your victory and yet nothing seems to be happening. Many kingdom warriors have failed at this stage; many have given up on God, thinking that He is not fair to them but that is wrong. God does not waste resources; He fought the battle for you and defeated all your enemies and He did not just invest His energy and resources in you for nothing. It is time to prove your total trust in Him; He wants to be sure that when your enemy reinforces against you that you would be able to defeat them again. Satan left Jesus for a season, He always comes back but the good news is that you will always defeat him with God by your side. The question is, if the road is clear then where is my answer. Friends, It is time to face God one on one; He is challenging you for a wrestling match. Since we all know that you cannot appear before Him with filthiness; the first thing to do is to examine yourself and make sure you are standing on a solid ground; you need to present your strong reason why He should trust you with such a great destiny and why you think you are now qualify to move on. Isaiah 1:18 (Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool). You may ask, but Nene how? You stand on the word of God which is His covenant because He is a covenant keeping God. If there is no covenant between you and God there wouldn't have been a race in the first place. So, your argument will base on your own fulfillment of the part of the covenant. God set the terms of the covenant and you have fulfilled your own part of the covenant; so you have the right to ask Him why your breakthrough has not been released. Isaiah 45:11 (Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me). That's how you wrestle with God; there was a time in my life that I thought I was qualified for my blessing and I presented my case to God and He responded immediately and said, daughter no, you are not done yet and He shows me what is remaining. I love this God; He will always speak to His children and show them the way. But when He thinks you are due for the blessing but require a wrestling match; He will keep quiet and watch you, because He has trained you and expected that you should know what to do at this stage. It is time to hold Him tight and don't let Him go until He releases your blessing; that's how to prove that His assignment is very important to you and that you are ready to manifest your destiny. The bible says that Jacob was left alone and a man wrestled with him till day break. Rachel said give me children or else I die (Genesis 30:1). The bible said and God closed her womb; Rachel has to be desperate enough to get God to open her womb. Genesis 29:31 (And when the LORD saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel was barren). Joseph was a child of destiny and Rachel needs to prove to God that she is ready to carry the seed of destiny in her womb. Genesis 30:22 (And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb). Hannah said to Eli the priest that she was not drunk but pouring her heart to God by letting Him see the reason why she is due for her blessing and when God noticed that her reason was strong enough He opened her womb and Samuel came; Samuel was a seed of destiny. 1 Samuel 1:15 And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. And the LORD remembers Hannah (1 Samuel 1:19). Hannah realizes that her breakthrough is now in the hand of God and He would not let that Shiloh end without her answer. Friends, you are the next to testify in Jesus' name. These women wrestle with God for their blessings; so what are you still waiting for; wipe your tears and approach the throne of grace with boldness and return with your testimony in Jesus name. If what you are expecting is not important to God there will be no wrestling, so rejoice because you are a chosen generation ordained for His purpose here on earth. If you are reading this message and you are not yet a covenant child; you cannot wrestle with God because there will be no ground to stand. Jesus is our solid ground; He is the word of God and you need a relationship with him. Here is the opportunity to enter into a covenant with God praying this salvation prayer below and surrender your life to Him.
