THE BIBLICAL ROLE MODEL PART 2

 Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Everyone on earth is here for an assignment; we are not here to occupy space or laze around. There is a purpose why God created you, everything about us was predestined. The place you were born, your height, your colour, your parents, your siblings were carefully chosen by God to fit the purpose He created you for. The understanding of who you are and your assignment would make you appreciate your personality and also help you to make good use of what you have. So, there is a role for you to play in this world. Having a role model is a conscious choice that an individual made in order to advance in life. As a child of God we have our God ordained role model in Christ but since no one can force you to choose a role model; that is why we need to confess him as our Lord and saviour; and accept him as our role model. Ability to recognise our approved role model by God is one of the challenges that many are facing today. Your choice of role model will determine your result and your destination at the end of your journey here on earth. So, the issue of role models is a very delicate one, you don't go around choosing any how. Nobody wants a failure to be their role model but it is not everybody that understands the word role model. Hebrews 11:2 (For by it the elders obtained a good report). We follow people because they have obtained a good report and we want to learn something very important from them but you ask yourself who am I following, what lesson am I learning from following this individual. Word is a spirit and if it enters it will become part of you that is why we need to be careful who we watch and who we listen to and what we read; if it is not edifying you in your career and your spiritual life, please stay away from such. We are here on earth for a serious business and it is high time we take our journey serious in order not to gnash our teeth in the last day, you may be thinking, there is time i will change later, friends you may not have that opportunity, tomorrow may be too late; hurry up and amend your way right now. It is even good that you have plans to change later but you don't need to postpone your conversion, procrastination is a killer of destiny; please do it now. Stop following an evil personality, so that you will not start modelling them. Hear what Paul the Apostle says. 2 Thessalonians 3:7 (For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you; 8 Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: 9 Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us). God wants you to be an example for others to follow; He wants you to model him to the whole world. The question is, how are you conducting yourself? Can people see Christ through you? Only you can answer these questions. God wants you to be deliberate in your conduct and not disorderly so that your followers will not copy the wrong things; don't lead your followers to hell. John 14:6 (Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me). There is no other way to heaven than to follow Christ our number one role model; he is the way that leads to our destination, you can never go wrong following him; he is the truth and life. He will not mislead you. Friends, in case you have not met him; permit me to introduce you to the King of glory, Jesus Christ and begin to follow him and let him show you the way to manifest your glorious destiny in grand style. His hand is stretched forth to accept you into his sheepfold today, please hurry up and join him by praying this salvation prayer below and blessed, in Jesus name.

THE BIBLICAL ROLE MODEL PART 1

Hebrews 11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

The bible and the world is full of role models; in fact we can say that the bible is a book of role models, so in case you are searching for a role model, stress yourself no more, you can just open your bible and choose one who has obtained a good report. Role model is someone who has good behaviour and has an outstanding result that is worthy of emulation. We are all here on earth to play a role in the world created by God, our heavenly Father; and to play our role in a way acceptable by Him we need someone to look up to. The first role model was Adam but he lost his bearing by allowing himself to be corrupted by Satan but God in His mercy sent His only begotten son Jesus Christ to be our perfect role model. Anyone that accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour has authentically asked him to be their role model. So, Jesus Christ is our perfect role model ordained by God but everyone has the right to choose who they want as their role model. He is the only role model with a complete package and following him is a guarantee that you will make it back to heaven after you are done playing your role here on earth. Don´t be deceived, you can still play your role here on earth and yet not make it to heaven because of misplaced priority. If you did not follow the number one God approved role model for you, you will end up in hell because your choice of role model will determine where you will end up at the end of your journey here on earth. Jesus Christ is our complete package, we are complete in him; if you follow his footstep you will have no need for any other role model. That means if we follow his footstep we will not only complete our assignment here on earth but we will also make heaven.

Colossians 2:8 (Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power):

Everything you desire is in Christ, he is the head of principality and power, so stop chasing after the shadow and go for the real image. Stop admiring wrong things, let not your mind be corrupted, don´t be stuck in the Adamic role model because it has been corrupted. The choice of role model is a conscious decision made by an individual; you have to define what you want out of life and then choose who you want to be your role model. Have it in mind that your number one role model is Christ; He has the complete Spirit that you need to succeed in life and He gave to everyone accordingly based on the assignment. Isaiah 11:1 (And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD); He also said that if you allow him to be your role model that you will command greater exploit than you have seen in him. John 14:12 (Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father).  The question everyone should be asking him or herself is, who is my role model? Who am I following? And what am I gaining from following this person? My prayer for everyone reading this message is that you will not make the wrong choice, in Jesus name. Friends, you can't go wrong by making Jesus Christ your role model; he is the only one that can give you power to become like him and fulfil your God's given destiny (John 1:12).  He is waiting to accept your request , please hurry up by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed in Jesus name.

GAINING NEW HEIGHT; PART 2

Luke 2:40 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.

Luke 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.

 

New height is our heritage in Christ as a believer but we cannot gain new height with a heavy burden in our heart. That issue is occupying the space that is meant for God in your heart; it is time to hand it over to Jesus and make space available for God in your heart.. Matthew 11:28 (Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls).

Your heart is under contention and is weighing you down and hindering your spiritual growth. Gaining new height requires that we focus on God in order to look like him and we cannot look like him until we submit ourselves to his learning. Here, what the bible says concerning John the Baptist Luke 1:80 (And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel). Growth is a fundamental aspect of our lives both physical and spiritual growth. We are expected to gain new height everyday and continue to grow to the full stature ordained for us by God. Your wilderness experience is meant for your spiritual growth; God is preparing you for something big but the time for you to be unveiled to the world to see the manifestation of the glory of God upon your life will never come to a reality if you are not increasing spiritually. Friends, no matter how dry that desert may be right now; the time for your glorification is coming and no devil is going to stop you. Just focus on God and continue to increase in wisdom and stature and you will find favour with Him and He will also cause men to favour you.  John 14:6 (Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me). New heights require that we follow those who know the way and have attained the height that we are hoping to gain. Luke 2:52 (And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man). He kept increasing and there was no record of him decreasing; we cannot achieve what he has accomplished until we learn and do what he did to attain the height we are talking about.  In an athletic race you cannot see anyone on track with a backpack no matter how light that bag is, they drop everything before embarking on the race in order for them to be free and light. if any of them has something bordering them in their heart it will affect their performance. If a higher performer athlete suddenly draws back; his career counselor will ask him or her if there is anything bothering them.  Family problems or depression, unforgiveness, bitterness and worrying of all kinds are satanic weapons to slow down your journey and to stop you from growing.  Whatever depresses you has succeeded in hindering your growth; that is just the simple truth.

We have to let go of every heavy burden that hinders us from climbing up the ladder of success. Jesus Christ knew this very well and that is why he said that we should lay down our burden before embarking on the race of destiny. He is the author and the finisher of our Faith; we are to learn from him on how to gain new height as we embark on this journey. He ran the race and he won the crown, so he knows how to get there and that you cannot make it while carrying those heavy loads on you. He had made an offer to help you with your load but it is left for you ro accept the offer. Since he is our example and he is so kind enough to want to help us with our burden, I think the best thing is to hand them over to him no matter how big that load is, he is capable of carrying it. Jesus wants you to lay down the heavy burden that you are carrying, he wants you to stop labouring so that you can enter into the favour of God. The exchange was done in the cross of calvary; give him the labour and enter into his favour and rest. He is saying this moment Proverbs 23:26( My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways). Friends, are you tired, do you want help, do you need someone to help you with that heavy load; then what are you waiting for, search no more, hurry up and surrender yourself to him by praying this salvation prayer below and find peace in your soul, in Jesus name.

GAINING NEW HEIGHT

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

New height is our heritage in Christ; as a citizen of heaven stagnation is an abortion in the kingdom where we belong. We all are ordained to gain new height everyday, glory is part of the seven redemptive inheritance that Christ died to purchase for us (Revelations 5:12). So everyone of us is ordained to live a glorious life here on earth. Our paths are ordained to shine brighter and brighter unto the perfect day (Proverbs 4:18). Though Glory is our inheritance in Christ but every of our inheritance as a Christian is subject to a terms and condition and until our own part is played we are not entitled to receive anything. Whatever you are getting now is mercy drops and if you want the full manifestation, you need to obey the terms of the covenant. The bible is the book of covenant, there is a part for us to play and also for God. The problem with many believers is that they refuse to study and get themselves familiar with the term and condition of the covenant as it is written in the bible. When we give our life to Christ we entered into a covenant with God; and our God is a faithful God, as long your part is fulfilled His part of the covenant is guaranteed. It is 50 by 50 as i always tell the people that i am privileged to reach out to; no cheating, God's own part is fifty percent (50%) and is guarantee, so if your level of obedience is about two percent you will receive four percent in total which means the result of your obedient to the bargain will come to 4%. At new birth when you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour that obedient to accept him into your life has make you his partner and also earn you some level of glory and it is subject to change in order to keep shining; that means  you will  continue to move from glory to glory and gain new height. Nobody gain new height with his eyes close, that is why the scripture says ¨we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, you cannot climb a ladder with blind folding face, you will definitely fall and that is what Satan and his agent has master to do in order to stop you from gaining new height. If your face is open you will understand the term and condition of the covenant and you will want to fulfil it but with blind folding face and a vail in your heart you will not understand anything and you will remain stagnated, God forbid. 2 Corinthians 4:3 (But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them). This is very straight forward, you cannot change to His imagine if you are not seeing His light, the blindfolding is holding back the light from shining unto you; it is time to say no to that evil vail and embrace the light of the glorious gospel and begin the process of changing into his image and gain new height in all your endeavours. Your height cannot be more than the level of your understanding because it is to you according to the level of your understanding. That is why I am praying for anyone reading this message right now, that the LORD will open your eyes of understanding, in the name of Jesus. You will continue to gain new height in the mighty name of Jesus. Stagnation is over in your life, in the mighty name of Jesus. You shall command exploits in your career, and your spiritual life, in Jesus name.

2 Corinthians 3:14 (But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord).

Without the Spirit of the Lord in you, you will remain in bondage and to be set free and begin to gain new height, you need the Spirit of the Lord. He that is born of flesh is flesh and he that is born of the spirit is spirit; so you need to be born again. Friends, if new height is your desire, please quickly pray this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus name.
