IT IS WAY BEYOND OUR THINKING

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Many will be shocked on the last day; let every one of us tread carefully or else we all fall into the same fate as the unbeliever but that will not be our portion, in Jesus' name. Running a constant spiritual check on yourself and your relationship with God; and making amendments without hesitation is a major way to avoid being a casualty of assumption. Make mercy your daily watchword and don´t assume salvation. There is no crime in rededicating your life to Christ often to avoid assumption but by all means, strive to make heaven. 

1 Corinthians 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

You will not fall, in Jesus' name. Salvation is a gift from God to all men, in case you have not received your own, hurry up and pray this prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name.

THE MEASURING GAUGE PART 2

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Power, if not controlled, can be abused; power is intoxicating, and people can easily be drunk with power and mess things up for everybody.  1 Corinthian 9:18 (What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel. 19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more). Jesus said that those who want to be on top have to serve others. Recently I have been watching clips of Archbishop Benson Idahosa; he was a man who commanded a lot of spiritual authority and yet he had some control; he put himself under check by always asking God. Lord, here is what they are saying; what should I do now and the Lord will respond, Son, what do you want to do? Humorously he says, whenever he asks God something God will throw the same question back to him and he doesn't know why. I saw it as a way of controlling himself so he would not get to the level of misusing his authority as a servant of God. Until your love for God grows to the point of passion you will not be entrusted with the kind of authority that Jesus Christ, Paul the Apostle, Moses, and Elijah commanded. This love we are talking about is not selfish’ it does not seek its interest; it is sacrificial. It is not lip service, it is demonstrated; This love puts God first above everything else. Elijah was so passionate about things of God that he thought he was the only servant of God remaining.

1 Kings 19:9 And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah? 10 And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

Paul put himself under oath just to please God; Moses says that God should erase his name from the Book of Life if he would not forgive the children of Israel their trespasses; Jesus Christ despised the shame of the cross just to please God. 1 Corinthians 9:16 (For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! 

Power and spiritual authority are two different things; you can have power without authority to use the power that you have. The power given to us as a believer works with perfect love. Without compassion, the authority given to us as a believer is wasted. Every time Jesus heals people; the bible will say that Jesus has compassion on them. (Matthew 9:36, 14:14, 15:32,20:34, Mark 1:41, 5:19, 6:34, 8:2, Luke 7:13). A man that has no compassion has no business with healing anointing. The Bible says in Acts 10:38 (How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him). The authority of the believer is to destroy the works of the devil and to set the captive free. 

Luke 7:12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and many people of the city was with her. 13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. 14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. 15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

Matthew 14:14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

The power is not for showbiz, it is to show forth the glory of God; it is God demonstrating his awesome power through us. If you want this power you need to work on your love for God and man. You can fast and pray for 100 days without water if your heart is not right with God you will not be entrusted with spiritual authority to command the supernatural. Friends, Jesus is still giving out powers and spiritual authority. He is just measuring the levels of your love for him and your interest in the things of his kingdom. As soon as he is satisfied with your level, you will start manifesting it.  The journey into the school of power and spiritual authority is a lifetime journey and no one can claim to be a graduate. THE MEASURING GUAGE, PART 1

John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. 35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given  unto me in heaven and in earth.

In this kingdom where we belong power and spiritual authority are given in levels and the measuring gauge is our love for God. A man with a genuine love for God will not have problems with emotional intelligence skills. Emotional intelligence has to do with us being able to manage our emotions and to manage other people's emotions; that is putting our actions in check and balance to see how our actions can affect another person both positively and negatively and then still achieve the purpose of God for us here on earth and then make heaven at the end of our journey.  

John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. 11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. 12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

The race of destiny cannot be won without power and spiritual authority; you can't love foolishly and expect God to give you power without measure and that is where emotional intelligence comes in. He said in John 14:12 (Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father); If Jesus Christ gets this power without measure that means we also can get it without measure. You can have power without spiritual authority. Spiritual authority in the hand of a believer is like the nuclear button; Love is sacrifice, but how far are you willing to sacrifice for the work of God here on earth? Jesus Christ offers himself as a sacrifice and God gives him power and spiritual authority without measure. God has a standard set for us in His book and our ability to obey his commandment is what keeps us on track emotionally thereby positioning us for extra power and spiritual authority. The Bible says that the Father loves his Son and gives him authority without measure. Jesus Christ says that God has given him everything. Spiritual authority is like a nuclear button in the hand of a Nuclear Nation President; that is how serious it is; every devil will avoid you like a plague. The more we demonstrate our love for God the more we are entrusted with power and spiritual authority. You can love your kids and not give them everything they want because giving them everything at once can take them to their early graves if you are not careful. Emotion has to do with how we express our feelings; for example; Anger, joy, love, sadness, empathy, hatred, jealousy. Your ability to control your feelings and put things into perspective is called emotional maturity. We are created in the image of God and if we have emotion then God has emotion too. To please God at all times we have to be emotionally intelligent; nobody wants to be around anyone who does not care about his or her feelings. For the presence of God to abide with us we need to care about how he feels and how our actions affect him and in turn he will shower his love upon us by trusting us with so much power and high levels of spiritual authority. John 8:29 (And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I always do those things that please him). If you love God you will not like to hurt Him and the same goes for our love for our neighbor. The first and second commandment is our ticket to command the kind of power and spiritual authority that we are craving for. The only way to please God and to prove our love for Him is to obey His commandments. 

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, the Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Do you love God? Do you care to know how He feels whenever you err? Your answer will determine your qualifications.

Even if you have power in your tongue as the anointed, if God did not back your utterances it won't be able to change things. Here is what the scripture says concerning Elijah. 

James 5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

1 Kings 18:37 Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. 38 Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. If God does not trust you he will withhold spiritual authority from you. The authority given to you as the servant of God is to be used against the power of darkness and to glorify the name of the LORD here on earth and that was exactly what Elijah was doing. The scripture says that we are greater than Elijah; the question is why then are we not commanding exploits than Elijah? One man withheld rain for three years and six months and released it when he wanted; that is how serious this authority can be. imagine if he does that at any slight provocation; It will just be like a president pressing the nuclear button because another Nation's president provokes him to anger (Matthew 11:11)..

In this kingdom, perfect love that commands spiritual authority must pass the test of emotional intelligence. Friends, now that you know what to do to command the kind of authority you need to run this race to the finish line; hurry up and register your interest by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name.

THE ROLE OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE SCHOOL OF POWER AND SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY PART 2

Luke 4:36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

The battle of destiny is a must-win battle and it cannot be won without conquering our emotion first. The enemy of our glorious destiny is very subtle and he has taken down great warriors using their emotion against them. When talking about emotion, it means how we display anger, love, sadness, empathy, fear, jealousy, etc. The inability to control any of the listed above can ruin our relationship with God and man. Getting our emotions in balance is a serious battle and anyone who can get it right and also able to manage another person's emotions is considered to be an emotionally intelligent individual and can be trusted with power and authority.

Whether you believe it or not, as long as you are here in this world you are on a battlefield. This world is a war zone and the battle is between light and darkness both contending with each other for supremacy, but we all know where the ultimate power and authority lies. God is the ultimate but He has given us willpower to choose which side we want to stand on in this battle. There is no middle ground which means you cannot say that you are nowhere because you will automatically be grouped alongside darkness, God help you if Satan does not recognize you (Revelations 3:15). Each side has their power and authority they use to command and influence things and control situations. 

Power and authority are two different things and our ability to differentiate the two will help us as we continue to grow in our walk with God. Power  and authority can both be described as the ability to control and influence the actions of others while authority on the other hand is backed up by legality; that is having some kind of legitimacy. Power and spiritual authority on the other hand is the ability to influence things and change situations to either favour an individual or against an evil entity.

Emotional intelligence is the ability to control one's emotions and to recognize and manage other people's emotions. In the line of your assignment, whether you are influencing others or situations you will stir up a lot of feelings and it needs to be managed to avoid hurting anyone. 

In this context, we are talking about spiritual power and authority depending on the kingdom you belong to. That is the reason why it is important to belong somewhere because if you are just in the middle you are not exercising any form of power or under any kind of authority. The danger of it is that the devil can just use that person for pepper soup because he or she has no legal ground to stand and that was the case of the seven sons of Sceva. 

Acts 19:11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: 12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. 13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. 14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. 15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? 16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

They try to exercise power against the unclean spirit and the devil asks them on which authority are they commanding him; even though they use the authority in the name of Jesus Christ that Paul Preaches; since Jesus Christ did not know them he did not back up their claim, devil know immediately that they have no power over him because they have no legal ground; so, he disgraces them. Their physical power and authority as the sons of chief priests could not help them; it was not enough because the battle was not physical. Ephesians 6:12 (For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places).

Devil acknowledges that he knows Jesus and Paul the apostles  but these fellows who the hell are they? In this kingdom, we are made to recognize that our battles are not against flesh and blood so we are to use our spiritual power and authority against the forces of darkness that cause pain in human life. But because the agenda of the power of darkness  is targeted at man God is very careful how he dishes out power and authority to His children. That is where the issue of emotional intelligence comes into play. That is, we need to be able to deal with the dark forces operating in humans without causing damage to the vessels they possess or harming ourselves in the process. That also does not mean that the vessels cannot perish with the demon if he or she chooses; it is a matter of choice; and that is where the issue of spiritual authority comes in. God will decide which vessels are ready to perish or have to perish with the power operating in him or her. For these reasons, he gave power and authority in levels based on the levels of our emotional intelligence. Matthew 12:26 (And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? 30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad).

You cannot boast about the power of God if you are not on his side; the good news is that you can choose which side you want to belong to and you can switch to the side of God even right now. To be on the side of God you need to believe and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour by praying this salvation prayer below.

Matthew 7:29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Matthew 20:25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

The role of emotional intelligence in the school of power and spiritual authority is vital and should not be messed with. Emotional intelligence goes beyond your being able to understand and manage your own emotions but your ability to recognize, understand, and manage other people's emotions. In our workplace power and authority are given to those who have the qualifications, skills, and ability to manage, control resources, and lead others for the success of the organization. The ability we are talking about includes being emotionally intelligent because one can have all the qualifications and lacks Emotional Intelligence skills. In this kingdom where we are, power and authority are given to those who are servants; that is, those who are serving God and the interest of His kingdom here on earth. We all know that servants are not permitted to exercise authority over those they serve. So the authority and power given to the servant of God are to be used against the other kingdoms, principalities, and powers. And because this power works through humans Jesus is cautious in the way he dishes out power and authority to people.  You just have to earn his trust for power to be conferred to you. When it comes to the issue of Faith we are to trust God but when it comes to the issues of spiritual authority God wants to trust us. The reason is that power and authority can be easily abused.

Luke 10:17 (And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. 18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fell from heaven. 19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven). The question is how do you separate the spirit from humans, how can you identify those who are highly possessed by the devil and how can you deal with the devil inside of them without hurting the human? Jesus Christ knows that the agenda of the devil is to destroy the possessed man and His agenda is to save the possessed man (John 10:10). It is like programming; when he preaches the power is available to deliver the possess. Jesus Christ displayed a high level of Emotional intelligence during his earthly ministry. He studies every situation and people's emotions and knows what to do part-time. Being emotionally intelligent does not mean you are weak in fact, that is where the power lies. He said to his persecutors do you think I cannot call my father to send legions of Angels to defend me but he chose not to because his emotion did not warrant it. Matthew 26:51 And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear. 52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. 53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

Remember he asked his disciples to buy swords; what now made him stop them from using the same swords he instructed them to purchase; I believe he was struggling with his emotion and he got it on track. Most times we may be caught in emotional battles as humans but our ability to win those battles is what qualifies us for higher spiritual authority. The sword is to prove to the people that he is capable of physical violence just like every other man and he also has the spiritual  authority to command heaven for the release of Angels but he chooses not to because what is written about him must be fulfilled. Many destinies have been cut short due to a lack of emotional intelligence. Jesus knew that his persecutors were acting on the devil's instruction and there was no need to battle with them. If you as a man of God lack this skill you may wind up killing those who you are meant to save due to your unbalanced emotion. Elijah was mocked and he cursed the children and two beasts came out and tore forty-two children into pieces; I am very sure that was not the first time he was mocked. He is a man who commanded a high level of spiritual authority. He does that to put fear in those who are fond of making a mockery of his anointing; at times you have to let people know what you have so that they will know not to mess with you or mock your God. 

2 Kings 1:10 (And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty).

Without authority and power, men would have been dragging Elijah on the street but they couldn't because they feared what was inside of him. Friends, satan, and his agent will not regard you as anything if you have no authority that is higher than their own. To command a high level of power and spiritual authority you need to be a son and a daughter of God; and today, God is giving you another opportunity to become His own by praying this salvation prayer below.

POWER TO CREATE YOUR FUTURE

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Life is hopeless without a better and a great future in view and that is why God has given us the power to create the future we desire. God has given us the willpower to choose between good and bad but His desire for us is to live a good life. We are created in the image of God and our God is creative. He formed us, He framed the world by the word of his mouth and he has given us the word which is His power to do the same. when God was first introduced to us in the book of Genesis chapter one from verse one to the end. We saw how he demonstrated his creative power by changing things to his desire. He does not like the way the event of things turnaround but he is also aware of his power to bring into existence what he wants. Friends you may not like how the events of your life turn but you can change things by demonstrating the creative power that God has given to you. 

Deuteronomy 30:19 (I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live):

The choice you make will determine whether you want to be who God has destined you to be or not. Darkness has always been a problem and God detested it and you that he created now hugging the darkness; is it nice? If you don't hate darkness the way God hates it, then you are an enemy of God, you have made your choice, you have chosen a future for yourself, then be ready to face the consequences both here now and thereafter. The lesson we all need to learn from God our Creator is that things might not always be how we plan them but we can always get it right if we desire by confessing the future we want with the word of our mouth. We are called the people of faith and a believer because we believe things that we don't see with our eyes but our confession will bring it into existence and that is what makes us the children of God. Hebrews 11:1 (Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear). God wanted light but all He could see was darkness he declared with his mouth, let there be light and there was light.  We are compelled to do what we declare and that is the reason we should declare the future we want and go ahead and make a move and watch if God will not back you to accomplish it. 

Job 22:28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways). The problem is, what are you decreeing? He is going to establish whatever you decree.

Jeremiah 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant. 11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. 12 Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

You have the power to destroy and to build, so begin to exercise your authority by pulling down what you don't want to see and build the future you want to see with the word that God has put in your mouth. Open your mouth wide and let him fill it with His creative words. Psalm 81:10 (I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it).

God will perform what you see with your inner mind because as your heart thinks so you will speak to his ear. Stop saying what you don´t want and begin to say the future you desire. Let your confession be in agreement with what you want. John 14:6 (Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me). Friends here is another opportunity to choose life today by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name.

TAKING A HIGHER GROUND

John 3:31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

Your above-only position as a child of God is not negotiable and you should not trade it for any reason. Having an above-only mentality is not pride, that is who you are, redemption has placed you far above and you should not be ashamed of who you are. In the battle of life, the knowledge of your true identity is what you need to secure a higher ground and maintain it if you must win. You need to have the above-only mentality as a believer to always be on top of your enemies. You need supernatural confidence to stay on the top; your confidence in God is paramount in this journey.

Ephesians 1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Jesus has secured that position for you and I, so no matter how resilient the opposition is, they will not be able to overcome us because life has already placed them under our feet; they are already at disadvantage because of their lower position. You are launching an air strike operation against your opposition who are fighting from the floor and there is no chance they can defeat you because their position alone has made them vulnerable. You are a citizen of heaven, the airspace belongs to you; the devil and his agents cannot access the level you are operating from. You and Christ are one together, you are in Christ; he is your shield; you are highly protected. Redemption has made it possible for you to operate at his level but if you don't know the truth about your redemption and the weapon available for you the enemy will take advantage of your ignorance. Hosea 4:6 (My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children). You are not losing the battle because our God is weak, you are losing because you have no idea of your true identity. Your ignorance is what the devil is capitalizing on to feast on your destiny but that will come to an end today, in the name of Jesus. Colossians 2:15 (And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it).

The battle over your destiny as a believer has been won a long time ago; you have been declared a winner before the battle began. Your ability to recognize your victory and claim the same is what makes you a winner. You are ordained to reign here on earth as a warrior because no king reigns without a throne. Your throne is what places you above all; you are ordained to be looked up to not to look down upon. In the quest to claim your victory the enemies will not fold his arms and watch you dominating him, he is going to put up a fight and that is why it seems as if you are starting the battle afresh but that is not the case. The dominion of light over darkness is unquestionable because at the appearance of light darkness will disappear it is as simple as that. And you are that light that the darkness is running away from, so don't make it seem as if darkness is that powerful. Knowing who you are will position you for victory anytime and any day. John 1:5 (And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not). Your light will always fish them out from their hiding place and that is why they don't want light because as soon as they see light they know that the battle is over. Matthew 5:14 (Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid). Friends, you see why your higher-ground position cannot be taken away from you. The truth is this, If you are not in Christ you cannot win this battle because only those who have accepted him as their Lord and Saviour are permitted to sit far above. Friends, if the above only is your desire there is only one way to achieve it and that is why I want to humbly introduce you to the way and the truth. Hurriedly pray this salvation prayer to below secure your place on higher ground and remain blessed, in Jesus' name.

Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I am a sinner, and I cannot help myself, forgive me my sins, and cleanse me with your precious blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and saviour. Now I know I am Born Again, Amen.

GET THERE BEFORE THEM (TAKING A PREEMPTIVE ACTION)

Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

There is this saying that goes ¨the best defense is a good offense¨ Offense and defense are both principles of war but to go on offense is the best way to win a war. Whether you like it or not we are in a war, life is a battlefield and the violent take it by force. The battle is between light and darkness, both fighting for dominion; there is no middle ground, the side you belong to and the strategy you apply will determine whether you will win this battle or not. The scripture makes us understand that we the children of light have already won this battle before it began but the irony of this is that many believers continue to lose even though they have been declared a winner. God has chosen the best strategy for us but if we ignore his strategy we will continue to be on the losing end. Jesus Christ says in John 16:33 (These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world). Since he has overcome all we need to do is to claim our victory using the weapon of violent faith. He advises us to always be the aggressor; and to use an offensive approach which is the best strategy in this battle of life. In this kingdom, spiritual violence is allowed. You can't just continue to wait for the enemy to attack and then you will continue to defend; if I may ask, how long are you going to stay in one place defending yourself? To be on a defensive end is boring and it is pathetic, I didn't even want to think about it because I don't have time for defense mechanisms. When you identify a potential threat in any battle whether spiritual, business, or war of any kind; the best approach is to launch an offensive attack to get rid of the enemy before they have time to regroup you would have gone to conquer another territory and gather more power that will scare them away from you forever. You have to do unto them before they do unto you. 

Launching a preemptive attack against the enemy means that you have identified the enemy and are fully aware that he is planning an attack against you. Still, instead of waiting for him, you take the battle to his doorstep to disarm him and put him into confusion. He will just be busy trying to save himself while you go ahead and conquer. An enemy is an enemy and he is always going to be an enemy because they have chosen a side that is not the same as yours, so why waste time? In this context, Satan is our arch enemy and he has his agent everywhere who has sworn allegiance to him. The Bible says Matthew 24:43 (But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up). Do you think if the goodman knows  that thieves are living  in his environment he will not come up with a strategy to keep them away permanently instead of keeping watch every night? The best approach is to get the authority to get rid of the thief from your environment so that you can sleep in peace. And you have the authority to get rid of the thief who is after your destiny before he gets hold of your destiny because you can't  continue defending that one thing you need to go after another opportunity out there. (Matthew 10:1-10) Jesus Christ called his twelve disciples and gave them power over the unclean spirit to cast them out and destroy them; He then sent them out into the camp of the devil, and they went out looking for the devil to destroy. When God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth he went out destroying all the works of the devil; in this kingdom, we don't wait for the devil to come, we take the battle to his domain by destroying his works (Act 10:38, 1 John 3:8).  The job of a thief is to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10). You already know his assignment and you are his target, so quit defending and be the offender. If you do not resist him he will never flee away from you, Your constant bombardment of his kingdom will make him stay away from you and everything that concerns you. You have to be the headache of the devil and his kingdom; that when you wake up; he will say here comes the troublemaker, not the other way round. It is just like you see a mosquito and you do not kill it immediately and then when it bites you and gives you malaria, you will start treating malaria; how long are you going to continue; malaria does kill, you know. Like the United States which has gotten rid of mosquitoes and not like Africa, up till now, we are still defending ourselves against mosquitoes. My MD used to say these whenever we identify a potential threat; Nene, let us pray to occupy the spiritual realm and make one or two strategic moves physically so that when they want to raise their ugly head they will see us on higher ground; in fact, they will see us at their doorstep with our prayer and they will have to be the one to defend themselves. And he said never to underrate potential threats or an enemy because no matter how small they are. if they have a better strategy they will defeat you. Remember the wall of Jericho how fortified it was but the higher force launched an aggressive attack and it fell flat. Jericho was defending, they did not go for the attack but the children of Israel prepared for war both spiritually and physically. That is the danger of taking a defensive approach in war; you can't always be sure. You have to be desperate about your pursuit, in your career, your academic endeavour, and most especially in your pursuit of God and destiny. In the pursuit of destiny to be aggressive is not a sin it is the art of war. It is not your fault, serpent and man are never meant to be friends since the fall of man, the war was declared open but the good news is that Jesus Christ has bruised his head what he has left now is strategies but we have a better and more superior strategy because our God is a master strategy. Friends, it is time to consciously choose a side; come over to the winning side by praying the salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name.
