WALKING ON THE HIGHWAY OF LIFE

 Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 35:8 And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

Everyone here on Earth is on a journey whether you like it or not; as the planet Earth is rotating without anyone's permission; in the same way, you are moving without anyone's permission. At every point in time since the day of your birth when it's time for you to develop and grow it happens without anyone's permission including you but developing well lies on eating the right food and diet. The irony of life is that many are moving in the wrong direction; the choice of ways lies on you and whatever direction you choose will determine your destination.

Deuteronomy 30:15 (See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; 16 In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it). 

Many consider God's way to be slow but we all know that the highways are designed to be the fastest because there are no obstacles. It is pure deception of the chief blind folder to think that the way of God is slow. Aligning yourself to his ways and thoughts will lead you to your destination faster than you could imagine. Even though God did not want to interfere in our choice he advised us to choose the highways, us and our children so that we will not be lost in the journey of life (Deuteronomy 30:19). The choice to follow God is the best decision that any man can make even as we continue our journey. Jeremiah 29:11 (For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end). His thought for you is to finish well. Following his ways can only bring you prosperity and listening to his instructions can stand you out from the crowd.

Isaiah 55:10 (For as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands).

He that is from above is above all; You cannot have that standing ovation that you desire if you are not walking on God's highway. There is a way that leads to peace, joy, health, wholeness, and prosperity; your journey back to heaven will be impossible if you do not follow the highway of God. stop walking on the low lane of life, come over to the highway where no obstacles can stand against you; do not be deceived, no one is faster than God; His hand lifted Elijah and he overtook the chariot of Ahab (1 Kings 18:46); His hand lifted Philip and he was caught off from the chariot of the Ethiopian Eunuch (Acts 8:26-40). His hand is still lifting people today. Those who think they have gone ahead of you, and making a mockery of you, never mind them, all you have to do is to align yourself and climb the chariot that God has prepared for you and you will pass them in no time. One may ask, but, Nene, I don't know the highway, how do I get there? I have good news for you; Jesus Christ is the way himself, he is the truth, the prince of peace and he says that no one comes to the Father except through him. So, making him your Lord and saviour will put you on the highway of life; It is an automatic ticket to heaven. John 14:6 (Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him). Friends, the chariot that will lead you all through your journey is ready, quickly jump into it by praying this salvation prayer below and you will not miss your path in destiny, in the name of Jesus. FROM ORDINARY TO EXTRAORDINARY

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Until you quit living in the realm of the natural, you will not be able to understand the language of the spirit and your change of story lies in your understanding of the things of God. it is Spirit to spirit communication and the reason for your stagnation is the language barrier; to break the barrier you need to be born again. John 3:6 (That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is everyone that is born of the Spirit).

God is ready to break protocol for your sake if you are committed to following instructions. Jesus Christ is ready to save you from embarrassment if you believe he can save you. He turns people from nothing to extraordinary and your case is not above him; Jesus is the story changer; following him is what turns ordinary men into a remarkable phenomenon and he is still doing the same today. Following him requires that you submit your will for his will to manifest in your life; your life template is in his hand and he knows you more than you know yourself. If you have no idea of what is written concerning your destiny how would you fulfil what you don't know? It is wisdom to cleave unto him in a marital relationship to command exploits like him. He will only reveal the secret to the people who love him, so he is the right person to fall in love with because he will never deceive or lie to you. 

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, the Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

Peter's story was changed because he followed Jesus; Jesus asked him to follow him so that he would make him a fisher of men after the net-breaking experience which he got by obeying instructions. Jesus Christ is still turning ordinary men into an extraordinary phenomenon today and you are the next, in Jesus' name. You need to surrender your wisdom to embrace his foolishness for your change of story. Peter, a professional fisherman, works all night without a catch and a preacher who has no experience in the fishing profession directs him on where to put his net and he does. 

1 Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: 27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

In this kingdom where we belong, for your story to change you have to take responsibility. God is ready to change your story if you are ready to obey him; when you are following God over analysis is not necessary because it can paralyse your miracle. 1 Corinthians 4:10 (We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised). Friends, just like Peter, you need to leave what you know that has not been working to follow Jesus so that he can make you. The question is; do you want to be that weak personality chosen by God to surprise the mighty? If your answer is yes, quickly pray this salvation prayer below and submit yourself to him for the making process to begin

A LOVING RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS, PART 2

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Isaiah 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

 

A loving relationship between believers and Jesus is a covenant seal with an oath; when we give our lives to Christ at new birth we vow to be committed to each other. So, each party has an expectation to be committed to each other. Jesus Christ vowed never to leave us nor forsake us and his expectation from us is to obey his commandment and to remain a virgin undefiled as long as we stay married to him. 

2 Corinthians 11:2 (For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ).

Deuteronomy 13:4 (Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him). The scripture says concerning marital relationships; that a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife as one. You are expected to leave the world, cleave to Jesus, and become one with him in marriage. If you are not ready to let go of the world, you need to lower your expectations from God. A good understanding of the contract of marriage is what makes each member committed to one another. Love is reciprocal and if you keep believing in unconditional love from God you will end up on the other side. Am I saying that God's love for us is conditional; No, the scripture says that he loves us first (1 John 4:19); and again while we were yet sinners Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). But don't be carried away; he also says that he has prepared something special for those who will love him back. 1 Corinthians 2:9 (But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him). We are not doing God some kind of favour by loving him; loving God is for our good and to our advantage, Just like a little child who does not know how to manage his life but depends on his parents for everything; that is what our relationship with God calls for. We are to surrender our will to him because he can never mismanage our lives; even when things seem not to be going well, in the end, it will still be in our favour. I have had several experiences about things that I wept for because I didn't get them and in some instances, they were taken away from me; but as time passes I will begin to recount how I wept bitterly not knowing that God was doing me a favour. There was an incident that happened in my life that was so painful; I remember two days before that particular incident God said to me, Nene, it's hurt but focus on me; I mistook it to be the answer to the pain I was feeling at that moment but that was not. It was when it happened that I remembered the word of God and I was comforted. God is not a respecter of a person he only respects the covenant and that is why he makes sure he defends you from yourself to perfect his will in your life. When a covenant is involved, what your flesh wants does not matter; the will of God will prevail. Jesus Christ our example wept and said why God had forsaken him but he also said let the will of God be done; I think we all as children of the most high God should learn how to do the same no matter how painful that feeling is (Matthew 27:46. 26:42).  No matter how your spouse professes his love for you, you may still want some proof, the same way Jesus Christ wants us to prove our love for him and his expectation is simple but some of us have termed it to be difficult which is not true at all.

1 John 5:3 (For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous). God wants you to make him the top priority in your life; if you love him you need to do things that please him. You have to make his agenda your number one and his agenda is to draw men to his kingdom.

Matthew 6:33 (But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you). 

He asked Peter a question, Peter, do you love me? Feed my lamb and my sheep if you truly love me. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever; He is still asking the same question today. Friends, if you truly love him, prove it by telling others about him and bringing them to his kingdom; save a soul today. Love is about giving, so give Jesus a soul today, start by sharing this message, and be blessed in Jesus' name. If you are not saved you won't be able to save others, start by saving yourself first by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name.

A LOVING RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS, PART 1

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

A loving relationship is built on trust between the two parties involved to be able to act on each other's interests. Our heart is the connecting link between us and God, and Jesus Christ will never break your heart; his hand is the safest place to keep your heart. His love is everlasting; he promises to be with you even unto the end of the world if you abide by the rule of the relationship (Matthew 28:20).

Falling in love with Jesus is the best thing to happen to any man; it will set you apart and position you to operate in a different realm from others. The same way you missed the presence of the one you love is the way God wants you to miss his presence any time you seem far away from him. If you are in love with God you won't find it difficult to ask for his mercy and forgiveness and reconcile with him whenever you err.  If you miss him you will do anything to rush back into his warm arms. You need to experience his overwhelming presence to understand what it takes to miss his presence. Your love for God will make you see things the way God sees them; your opinion about people does not matter anymore.

When you are in love with Jesus, you will not care much about whether people love you, but you will love and respect everyone. When you are in love with Jesus, everything he likes becomes your likes; you will hate what he hates with passion; and you will always look for a way to please him. Jesus says this to affirm his love for the Father; John 8:29 (And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.). God remembers his covenant he never forgot so if you play your part of the bargain his part is guaranteed. Below is David´s love letter to God, the man after God's heart. You can read the whole chapter of Psalm 139. 

Psalm 139:20 (For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain. 21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? 22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies. 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: 24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting). Keeping a clear conscience towards everyone is one of the ways to please God; making your heart available for him to use is proof that you care about him. To maintain our connection with God one needs to avoid toxic relationships like plaque because that can pollute your conscience and make it difficult for God to access you. If you are not ready to be a stranger to those who are close to you because of your love for Jesus, it means you are not ready to be in a loving relationship with God. Abraham proves his love for God by sacrificing Isaac; Love without sacrifice is a mere fallacy. Psalm 69:7 (Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face. 8 I am becoming a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children. 9 For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me. 10 When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach).

I am privileged to have experienced his love and it is so sweet; it makes me feel on top of the world, undefeated and untouchable and special and that is exactly how God wants his children to feel. I have experienced what it means to have his presence around me and I will not trade it for anything. I would rather leave this world than trade my relationship with him for anything. When you are in a loving relationship with Jesus; he will be involved in every minute thing in your life. He will make sure that you are comfortable and nothing takes you by surprise. Anytime I write explicitly about his love it makes me so emotional because he is so real to me. If you want to experience his love read the whole book of John and study the relationship between Jesus and his Father; with emphasis on John 14 to 17. Friends, this message is not about you alone, it is important to me also and it makes me realize how far I have drawn back in my relationship with him and I quickly dropped my pen to seek reconciliation with him. it is a heart-to-heart relationship, and Jesus will not break your heart, and that is why God is asking you right now to give him your heart. Proverbs 23:26 (My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways). To enter into a loving relationship with Jesus requires that you hand your heart over to him by praying this salvation prayer below.

MEET JESUS, THE STORY CHANGER

For our water to change to wine; there are a series of instructions to follow which are written in the manual of life. Jesus is not tired of doing miracles in the life of his people if his people are not tired of following his instructions. The only way to avert the embarrassment of lack and want shame and reproach, and poverty is to follow the instruction given to us by God. you cannot go through life anyhow you want and expect a change of story, no, it is impossible. His first miracle was at a wedding in Cana where he changed water to wine even though it was not his time to start performing miracles he broke protocol just to save the groom from embarrassment. He gave the people a series of instructions that led to the water changing to wine; he was unequivocal that if they missed any step the result would not be the same; I am sure Jesus Christ gave many instructions to different people during his earthly ministry but the ones who obey and get results are the ones documented. If you want your exploit in Christ to be documented you have to embrace responsibility because anywhere your obedience stops is where your exploit stops. Imagine if those servants decide to taste the water by themselves instead of taking it to the chairman of the occasion. The instruction of God may look foolish but the result will be a record-breaking testimony. 1 Corinthians 1:25 (Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men).

John 2:1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: 2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. 3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. 4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. 5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it. 6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. 7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. 8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. 9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, 10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

The irony of life is that many want a change of story but not many want to take responsibility that will lead to their change of story. You can't be stuck in your prison made by you and expect a change of story; for you to experience a change of story you need to accept freedom of mind. No one is greater than Jesus and when he enters into a man's life the first thing he does is to change your mentality to embrace the possibility that with him in your life all things are possible if you believe. Your life as an individual cannot change significantly unless someone greater than you enters into your life; Inviting Jesus into your life is a form of marital relationship. As it is written two shall become one; the normal arithmetic is that one plus one is equal to two but in following Jesus, He said otherwise which means you and him have become one. When you are one with Jesus you share in the same capacity that he has to turn things around. That is why he says that we would do greater work than him if we obey his commandment (John 14:12). Our ability to follow instruction is what changes our story; success in life is all about obeying instruction from the highest trusted authority. that is from those who have gone before us;  those who have gone ahead of us. 

Jesus Christ is still giving instructions today, and he is ready to start afresh with you if you are ready to obey him. Without obedience of faith, you cannot have breakthroughs in this kingdom. Wherever your obedience starts is where your miracle starts, Friends, make a conscious decision to start obeying him today and you will not regret it in Jesus' name. The process is simple, the first step is to invite him to the marriage because he does not barge into anyone's life without permission; they invited him to the wedding, and his present sorts out the issue of lack and want, shame and reproach. The same Jesus is knocking at your door now, would you please allow him to come into your life to turn your situation around right now? MOUNT ZION AND THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GOD

MOUNT ZION AND THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GOD

Understanding a subject matter is crucial because we will be prone to error without it. Lack of understanding will lead to abuse and whatever you abuse cannot profit you much. We are the household of God, the sons and daughters of the most high God. We are joined together with Christ as one family. Households can be described as a tribe, a clan, a unit, or a group of people living together and related by blood. Mount Zion is referred to as a church both in the Old and New Testaments. We are the church and not the building but the building is very important because it is a symbol and it creates comfort. Assembly simply means the gathering together of people in the same place for a common purpose; that is, the meeting place. God has chosen Mount Zion which is the church to be His meeting place where He meets with His people. The general assembly refers to the gathering of the sons, daughters, and saints of God both in heaven and on earth and all the hosts of heaven in Mount Zion. That is why it is called the City of Angels, the Holy City, the new Jerusalem.

Hebrews 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Just like in a normal household where parents and their children live; even though things are being done together, everyone still has a personal relationship with their Father which determines the extra bond between that child and his or her parents. In the household of God, we the family are to gather together in a holy general assembly and have joint meetings with God the Father, the Son the holy spirit, and all the hosts of heaven. We all know that no important personality goes anywhere alone; it is rare; they usually go out with their entourage. God the Father does not come to the general assembly alone, He goes with His entourage which are the hosts of heaven. The hosts of heaven include Jesus Christ himself, the Angels, the spirits of just men made perfect, and the blood of Jesus which is the blood of sprinkling. In Mount Zion, the table would be set and everyone's needs would be met accordingly. Every meeting has an agenda and your request is part of the issue of discussion but if you are not there, who is going to present your case on your behalf when everyone is focusing on their issue? Friends, do not be deceived. It is very important to go to church. When you are going to church you are not going there to meet with mortal man, not at all; your going there is not to meet with the Pastors, Priest, Reverend, or any other person. The Pastors are there as a guide to interpret the law and make you understand the constitution so that you will know your rights as a citizen and also how to conduct, present, and position yourself to possess your possession. So, anyone who tries to convince you not to go for the general assembly has denied you the opportunity to meet with all the hosts of heaven. It doesn't matter how small the church is, God said wherever two or more are gathered in his name he will be there; He is saying that as long as the agenda of the gathering is to fellowship with Him He will be present with all His entourage. One may say, Nene, but we are the church, yes we are. That is why He said when two or more of us gathered for the fellowship it became the meeting of the general assembly. For Example, I am a Nigerian nobody can dispute that because I can prove it, so anywhere I go since I have not changed my citizenship I will still be identified as a Nigerian. But there is a country called Nigeria and the citizens of that country are what make up the country and not just the land. If all the Nigerians that dwell in Asia gather together to have a general meeting the welfare of the Nigerians living in Asia will be the issue of the discussion. The same way when the Zionists gather together in the general assembly to discuss the welfare of the Zionists who dwell here on earth. If you need healing you will be told how you can take advantage of the law to get your healing; you will be told your right to divine health as a Zionist. The book of the law which is the constitution of those that dwell in Mount Zion will be interpreted to you by the priest as the spirit-led. God will give the priest the passage that the Holy Spirit wants to discuss in the general assembly. The exhortation positions us to receive our package for the day. The topic for exhortation is part of the agenda in the general assembly and God usually sends it ahead of the meeting by revelation. The priest who is the interpreter of the constitution would be the one to receive it but as an individual, you can receive the same ahead of the meeting depending on your relationship with God or how in tune you are with the Holy Spirit. 

Acts 7:44 (Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen. 46 Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob. 47 But Solomon built him a house. 48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, 49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?) 

Mount Zion is an appointed place of meeting for God and his people; it is also called the Tabernacle of Witness; it is a sacred place. 

Psalm 74:2 (Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt).

We are redeemed by the Lord; we have been purchased by God through the sacrifice of the blood of Jesus. We are the church, Mount Zion, God's dwelling place but until we keep ourselves holy and sacred we cannot claim that God is in us. We are God's holy congregation and chosen people.
