THE TRIUMPHANT ENTRANCE

The accolade you are looking for will not come until you slay your Goliath and come home with the evidence in your hand. No one will sing Hosanna for you until they see the head of your Goliath in your hand. Many of us are still battling with our Goliath on the battlefield, but soon the battle will be over. Victory has its whistle; it has a way of announcing itself.

1 Samuel 17:57 (And as David returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, Abner took him, and brought him before Saul with the head of the Philistine in his hand. 58 And Saul said to him, Whose son art thou, thou young man? And David answered, I am the son of thy servant Jesse the Bethlehemite). 

The king never asked David who his father was until he returned from the slaughter of the Philistine. Your victory will be announced, in Jesus' name. Because of you, the whole world will soon know your village address, in the name of Jesus. I see God rewriting the story of your family and it will soon happen for all to see and glorify your Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus. Don't give up on your battle, keep developing your muscle in the word of God to keep your faith alive. 

Matthew 21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers, and the seats of them that sold doves, 13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. 14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them. 15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David; they were sore displeased, 16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

Jesus Christ's work spoke for him and the people gathered to sing his praises. David was so zealous for God that he was angry with Goliath, and Jesus Christ also went into the temple of God to chase away the people who were buying and selling there. friend, where is your zeal for God? Jehu says come with me and see my zeal for God. When you are zealous for God you will hate what he hates, and love what he loves and he will cause men to sing your praises. 

Until Jesus entered the temple and scattered the table of those who were buying and selling in it no one sang for him but after he humiliated his enemies the people carried drums and began to celebrate him. Friends, I don't know what is buying and selling in your body which is the temple of God until you chase them away your light will not shine. People are waiting on the aisle, they want you to defeat those defilers of your destiny as soon as they see them on the floor they will roll out the red carpet for you. Forcing yourself to be recognised will make you look like a clown. The whole creatures are waiting for your manifestation and I know you will not disappoint them. Jesus Christ said that his work will speak for him, so keep working because when it comes, it will speak. Your triumphant entrance will attract enemies; if you are not breaking ground nobody will envy you, so stop complaining when you are envied because it is a sign of victory in disguise. 

 

1 Samuel 18:6 And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of musick. 7 And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.

Friends, by the time the battle is over it will be self-evident that you have broken a record. The level of achievement that no one has recorded in your lineage is coming through you, in Jesus' name. Overtaken is allowed; God is looking for someone who will break records but his measuring gauge is your zeal for him. Your love for God and your interest in his kingdom is what will take you to that level of record-breaking victory (Matthew 6:33). STOP COUNTING LOSSES

Counting losses of the battle you have fought before when you are on a battlefield is self-defeating and many believers are still making this mistake today thereby shooting themselves in the foot.

Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

1 Samuel 17:34 And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: 35 And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. 36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. 37 David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.

Satan's number one strategy is to cast doubt in your heart; he wants you to use your mouth to speak against your God because that is exactly what you are doing. You are giving credit to the enemies and then limiting your God. You are saying that your weapon and your defense are weak. I do not believe that I can lose a battle and I have convinced myself that I can never lose any battle because He that is me is the one fighting the battle for me. Jeremiah 20:11 (But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten).

David told King Saul not to let his heart faint because of the uncircumcised Philistine; he did not glorify Goliath by calling him his name. He named him and looked down on him, and that is exactly what Goliath noticed as soon as he set eyes on David. He said, "Am I a dog?" Of course, he was a dog, and he died like one. The question is, what are you calling those challenges because the name you gave to your situation is what will determine your victory? 

David told Saul and the rest; see, I don't lose any battles because I have the Shepherd himself fighting for me. I have his weapons bag on my shoulder. The king was among David's cheerleaders and he needed to build up their confidence to win the battle. Please stop weakening the confidence of your cheerleaders by counting your losses. The testimonies of the Israelite armies and that of David were different; they describe Goliath as the mighty, but David describes God as the mighty one. They were losing the battle because they were counting losses but David won because he was counting victory. Paul the Apostle makes it very clear in the above scripture that he does not count losses nor remember them he forgets about them by wiping them off his memories so that he can focus on the victory ahead. 

Do you think Satan wanted you alive if he knew he could kill you, being alive alone to engage him in war is a victory. Friends, start celebrating your God and you will never lose any battle again, in Jesus name. The shepherd wants to give you his bag full of weapons but you need to make a decision to follow him. Friends, If the LORD is not yet your shepherd, here is another opportunity to make him your shepherd today by praying this salvation prayer below and win forever, in Jesus' name.

FIGHTING WITH THE RIGHT WEAPONS

You are losing battle not because the enemy is stronger than you; but because you are using the wrong weapon. You cannot shoot an ant with a gun; you will continue to miss the target and may end up injuring yourself in the process, and that is the ordeal of many believers today.

1 Samuel 17:38 And Saul armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail. 39 And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him. 40 And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.

Life is a battlefield and we move from one battle to another as we progress in this journey. Our choice of weapon is critical as we continue to war against the enemy of our next levels because the choice and knowledge of our weapon will determine our victory. David fought many battles and the bible recorded that he has never lost any because he has mastered the art of war and knows the best weapon to use at a time. Using the right weapon on the target will deliver a speedy result. David knew the exact weapon to use on Goliath so it did not take him time to kill him meanwhile the Israeli armies had been in the same battle for days. Using a weapon that has been tested and proved by you is very important. The word of God is our number one weapon. It has been tested seven times according to scripture and that is why anytime we get the right word for any battle we defeat the enemy hands down. Psalm 12:6 (The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times).

David knows that his hands have been trained to kill the enemies; He says that he kills a bear and a lion with his bare hands and he can use the same hand to kill Goliath. Psalm 18:34 (He teacheth my hands to war so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms). The scripture describes David as a wise man and wisdom is better than weapons of war (Ecclesiastes 9:18). 1 Samuel 18:14 (And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways, and the LORD was with him). Many thought David did not fight Saul but he did with a different kind of weapon. He learns how to choose his battles wisely and that is why he never gets hurt or loses any battle. I pray for you today that you will never lose any battle again, in Jesus' name.  

Our enemies the devil is a sneaky entity; after David had given Saul his testimonies of how God delivered him from a bear and a Lion; he provided him with his amour, the same amour that he could not use to kill Goliath. Immediately David caught himself and quickly rejected man's weapon and took up the armour of God. Anytime we put our trust in the help of man which is limited we limit our victories because the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (1 Corinthians 10:4). David has in his hand a staff which represents the word of God; he took his shepherd bag, remember the LORD is our shepherd and also five stones, our rock of defense is Jesus. Friends, from today henceforth you will know the exact weapon to use against the Goliath of your next levels, in Jesus' name. You will not forget what God has done before, the Spirit of God will remind you, in the mighty name of Jesus. You cannot defeat your Goliath by counting losses, that will take away your confidence, and without confidence, you cannot kill Goliath. Your relationship with God is what will determine your victory; the confidence to confront your challenges will not be there if you are not his son or daughter. Friends, the good news is that you can make him your Lord and saviour today by praying this salvation prayer below and be saved, in Jesus' name.

THE DUALITY OF A BELIEVER

Your journey to the promised land will not be actualized without manifesting your true redemptive identity as a believer. Every redeemed child of God has two different natures in them, a Lion and a Sheep; that sets us apart from the world. Every living thing produces after its kind, we are the children of the Lion of the tribe of Judah and ordained to prevail where others travail after the order of Christ. We are people of His pasture and sheep of his hand. As sheep, we follow our Father, the good shepherd as he directs and leads us through our journey here on earth. John 10:4(And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. 11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep).

Revelation 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. 6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

When the sheepy nature in you is active your Lionic nature will come out because, without proper manifestation of your sheepy nature, you cannot prevail as a Lion. Your obedience to divine direction is what brings out the Lion in you. David understood these two natures in him and it was recorded that he never lost any battle. When it comes to his relationship with God, he is like a sheep, but when he faces the enemies, he leaks them as dust and eats them like bread. Psalm 95:7a (For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand).

The children of Israel were led through the wilderness as sheep and released to the world as a Lion. Joshua said there was no city too strong for them to conquer. Friends, you are still struggling with the enemies because your sheepy nature is not active; allow God to train and lead you. If you constantly disobey and ignore divine instruction, you will remain in one place. The only time the Israelites lost a battle during their wilderness period was when they refused to be led as a sheep and the Lion in them refused to come out in battle (Number 14:40-45).

To manifest your dual identity as a believer you need a vivid picture and knowledge of who you are. You need to embrace your duality as a believer and begin to walk in the consciousness of your identity. You are a sheep of his pasture and he will make sure that you are well taken care of and protected. You are a Lion and you cannot be behaving like a weakling. You have been empowered to conquer; you are a more conqueror personality, so go ahead and slay your enemies and possess your possessions. Proverbs 30:30 (A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any); You are a Lion and that is why you cannot give up now, so keep moving because you will soon get to your destination.

Numbers 23:24 (Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain).

The reason why we need to be led by God is that there are enemies on the way and without a shepherd you may end up in their belly but that will not be you, in Jesus' name. I pray for you today, that you will not lose battle again, in Jesus' name; You shall prevail as a Lion that you are, in the mighty name of Jesus.

Like beget like; If you are not born again then you are not part of His sheepfold but here is the good news, John 10:16( And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd). Jesus Christ wants you in his sheepfold, he is interested in your case, he knows you before you were born, and he knows you are coming to him; please quickly pray this salvation prayer below and come into his sheepfold.
