PUTTING YOURSELF IN ANOTHER PERSON´S SHOES

Empathy and compassion are the hallmarks of our Christianity even though the people of the world may want to take advantage of you; that is where the issue of wisdom comes into play. Bishop David Oyedepo, says this and I quote ¨what does a man who has no compassion want to do with healing anointing¨ because the scriptures always say  (Jesus Christ was moved with compassion and he healed the people).  

Not everyone's shoe can fit into your feet, it will either be too tight or too loose; it may never be as comfortable as you think. On the outside, the shoe may look beautiful but until you put your feet inside you may never know how hurtful it is or which part of it causes discomfort to the person wearing it. 

My first job was in the bank as a teller. During our training, I took one phrase from there and began to run with all my life ´PUTTING MYSELF IN ANOTHER PERSON´S SHOES´ We were told to always put ourselves in the situation of our customers; how would we want to be treated if we were in their position; if we are the one on the queue waiting to be attended to. 

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. 40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

The temptation to be judgemental will be there if we are not sensitive to other people's situations. When I started going out for soul winning I was doing it with a compassionate heart; the first time I stubble into a place where prostitutes lived and I saw these beautiful young ladies wasting away their destinies I wept and when I got home I prayed to God; I said Father, give me one of those ladies for you. Today, by the grace of God I have won countless of them to Christ and most of them became soul winners too. The Lord opened my eyes to see what many others do not see about them; he said to me don't judge them, don't copy others, focus on your job. To encourage me that my labor was not in vain, even when I lost contact with some of them, He would often reveal to me about their progress; He said, daughter, see your friends, they are doing very well, and praying for you.  Jesus Christ said that he did not come for the saints but for the sinners.

 

Jesus Christ taught us the same; he said we should be perfect as our heavenly father is perfect. Please, don´t treat people badly and expect others to roll the red carpet for you; it doesn't work that way. We serve a compassionate God who wishes all men are saved and comes to the knowledge of Him; he gave his only begotten son to save our rebellious self because he knew what hell looks like and he doesn't want you and me there. He heals all manner of sickness and disease because he knows it causes discomfort; it does not inflict pain on people; the devil does because that is his area of specialization. Our God is merciful, he makes way for us to return anytime we err so that he can receive us with open arms just like the prodigal son and his father. 

What would God do in this kind of situation is the question that every believer should ask himself before making any decision. Also, remember that there is no forgiveness without repentance. David repented of his sin and God forgave him, the prodigal son returned to his father with a repentant heart.  Matthew 6:12 (And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors). When I get the insight that until I forgive others their trespasses my prayer would be hindered and that God would  not forgive my sin; I said to myself why should I miss heaven because of someone else? I made this part of my daily prayers so that I might not mistakenly hold people in my heart. (Father, I forgive those who sin against me, even the one that I am not aware of). That is how I take the issue of forgiveness but that does not make me a fool, I am just trying to save my soul from going to hell.  Friends, if you are not saved you cannot save others; make a decision to be saved today by praying this salvation prayer below and e blessed, in Jesus name

OVERCOMING SATANIC ACCUSATIONS

Many believers did not get to manifest their potentials due to satanic accusations; Satan the devil was not just called the accuser of the brethren for nothing; he is making a case against your rising and your prosperity. he knows the law more than you do and that is why you need to study your bible to defend yourself against his wroth. He is called the ancient dragon which means he is older than you in this world but guess what you and I have the ancient of days as our Father and He is living in us (2 Corinthian 6:16). 

Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death. 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Satanic accusation is real but more real is our saving grace in the blood of Jesus that was shed for us in the cross of Calvary for the remission of our sin. The blood of Jesus is our defense against every satanic accusation; it speaks louder and clearer than any other voice. We are no longer under a curse due to the sacrifice of Jesus and this has brought tears into the eyes of Satan and he has increased his to and fro business. We are now under the new covenant, our faith in Christ has brought us under the blessings of Abraham, and that has erased every trace of curses from our lives but, until you have the knowledge of your redemption and make your argument based on that you may end up being his victim. Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

When you are accused, you must defend yourself, which is what the blood of Jesus stands for. Our chief advocate is Jesus and our Father is the judge of the universe, so everything is in our favour. You need the understanding of your salvation and the knowledge of what is available for you in redemption to be free from satanic accusations. Someone may ask, but Nene, what am I being accused of, Satan is a thief he is blocking your blessing; he is making a case against you that you are not qualified to have them and that is why everything is going contrary even though you are living a righteous life, you are wondering why others are getting results and you are not getting yours. He is very good at digging up the sins of the past, evil dedication from your root; the covenant you are not aware of. Many are just victims of the ignorance of their roots but, until you get the understanding of your separation and keep declaring it and use it as part of your argument Satan will continue to disturb your breakthrough. Matthew 27:25 (Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children). Thank God, Jesus Christ asked God to forgive his accuser while on the cross

Yes, we know that God says that he will visit the sin of idolatry for the fourth generation but the blood of Jesus has made a case for us. So long as you have given your life to Christ, stay away from idolatry, and obey God's commandments you are qualified to lay hold on your inheritance. If he brings his accusation Jesus will say that he has paid the price for this person; she has run to her stronghold which is my blood. To overcome Satanic accusations you need to stand up and lay hold to your right; engage the blood of Jesus, and let the blood begin to speak on your behalf. Don't forget to shout all the good things that God has done in the past, and keep the love of God in your heart ever burning. These and many other available weapons in the scripture will help you defeat him hands down. 

His name is the accusers of the brethren, accusing the saint is part of his ministry. But thanks to our advocate Jesus Christ who is there to defend us day and night. His blood that was shed was not in vain, it was to counter satanic accusation. We overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by our testimonies and our undying love for God and his kingdom. Beware that as soon as you pledge your allegiance to Christ, Satan is going to be trailing you to see if you are going to make a mistake, and if he does not see anyone he will go and dredge some stupid covenant from your root but forgetting that you are now the offspring of the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of Jesse; and by his blood you are free from the sins of your formal ancestors. 

Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

You have been bought with a price, and the price was the blood of Jesus. 1 Corinthians 6:20 (For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's).

 

2 Corinthians 6:16 (And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you),

Friends, the decision to separate yourself from any agreement your fathers and mothers might make with the devil on your behalf is yours. To become a son and a daughter of God disagreement from Satan and whatever he represents is a non-negotiable requirement. You can set yourself free from Satan today and declare your allegiance to Jesus by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name.

PICKING UP YOUR CROSS DAILY

Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. 25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

Until your identity changes to the point that your close associate will begin to say that you are no longer the same person they used to know; then that means you are not carrying your daily cross. If your formal associates are not distancing themselves from you unconsciously then you are not carrying your daily cross.

Our cross is the symbol of our relationship with Jesus; it is our identity as a believer; It is who we are and that is what makes us a unique personality. It symbolises our separation from the world and our allegiance to Christ. We cannot be tired of our identity as believers, which is why the cross is in our hands as a constant reminder of who we truly are in Christ and should be. Everyone has their cross which was given to us at the new birth when we surrender our life to Christ and we are meant to be carrying it along with us every day because once saved is not always saved. It is a daily activity and all-time work; it is our birthmark and not a burden. It is a mark of eternal life

Following Jesus requires that we deny ourselves daily of worldly pleasure because a friend of the world is enmity with God (James 4:4).  You cannot carry your cross and still hold on to something else. You are required to drop the old things to be able to pick up your cross every day which is the new thing. You exchange the old thing for the new thing.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation);

Just like the Samaritan woman, when she encountered Jesus; she dropped her water pot, picked up her cross, and ran straight to the city to tell others the good news of the messiah. She started her ministry of reconciliation immediately without hesitation. Whatever that is taking the place of your cross has made itself your gods and that is a one-way ticket to hellfire, but that will not be your portion in the name of Jesus. Life challenges are everyday and that is how we grow in our walk with God. we need to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. That is keeping track of our shortcomings and making amendments.

Christianity is a call to live a life of sacrifice and you cannot follow Christ without denying yourself of worldly pleasure. Friends, it is time to answer this question; what would be your advantage if you gain the whole world and lose your soul in hell? It is time to drop all the philanderers, the lies, the stealing, the cheating, the prostitution, the killings, the hate, the unforgiveness, and so on; and then pick your cross to follow Jesus. The good news is that you can decide to be a friend of God today and separate yourself from the world by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name.

OVERCOMING SATANIC BARRIERS

1 Corinthians 16:9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

1 Thessalonians 2:18 Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.

Every man desires to get to the topmost top in their career or area of endeavour. Limitation is a line between a man and his desire; it is a block; it is a mark that stops a man from moving forward on the ladder of destiny; and until this line is broken the man remains in one spot. Something that is supposed to come naturally to you when it comes to your turn becomes difficult. It could be promotion, marriage, the fruit of the womb, admission, and many more. Satan has put a line on some families, and their lineage that no one from there will get success, and if you are unlucky enough to find yourself there to get anything good becomes a tug of war. When success comes close to you the door will be shut against you because there is a line between you and your breakthrough. This line represents a step in a ladder of your destiny as you break one you move ahead to break the next until you get to the topmost top. Satan is an enforcer of every curse and if there is no curse operating in your lineage he will not have anything to enforce but thank God for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross; you don't need to labour under any curse again.

Galatians 3:13(Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith).

Determination to succeed and not giving up attitude is what leads to the altitude in life; to break limits one needs to have a personal relationship with God and possess the if I perish I perish mentality. You need to have a vivid picture of your colourful destiny and have the inner conviction that you must get there. God knows the desire to pursue what you cannot see is limited. That is why he shows Abraham his future; your desire cannot be far from what you can see; it is to you as far as your eyes can see. You can't crave what you don't know of; you can only crave what you know and can see. 

Genesis 13:14 (And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: 15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever).

The question is have you seen the colour of your destiny? Is your future bright? Is it worth dying for? Joseph refused to die despite all he went through because he saw his colourful destiny; the devil could not get him into depression. Before any devil can depress a man he must be able to convince him that there is no future for him. Friends, if you have not had a dream about your future, please make this part of your daily prayer. O God my Father, show me my destiny; reveal my originality to me. 

Christ in you is your hope of glory (Colossians 1:27) and the scripture also says that 2 Corinthians 5:17 (Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new).

That means Satan will not have anything to hold against you moving forward again. Here is the good news, it is not too late to have a dream about your future and Jesus Christ is here to help you and see you through; He has taken away the curse and you don't need to labour under them ever again. But all he requires from you is to surrender your life to him by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name.

CONFRONTING YOUR MOUNTAIN

Zechariah 7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

Psalm 114:4 The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs. 5 What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back? 6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs? 7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

The journey to the promised land is full of challenges but in every challenge lies the promotion of the people of God. In this kingdom, there is no automatic promotion and you cannot jump classes because we are ordained to move from glory to glory. Every mountain is crushable and they can be level no matter how great they look but not without God. Life mountains are real but more real is the power of God in us and his ability to crush every everlasting mountain.

The most difficult thing to imagine is to move mountains but Jesus Christ said that moving mountains does not require much work. He said we can just speak to the mountain and it will disappear if we believe, and that is what makes our journey here on earth an interesting one. Everyone has their mountain and each person's mountain is different from another; the greater your mountain the greater your destiny. Every battle is different the same way our faces and destiny are different but we use the same weapon of Faith to conquer every mountain no matter how intimidating they look. Mountains represent obstacles; they represent a hardening situation; they represent stubborn opposition. They are very high and they block their victim from seeing the other end of their journey. Mountains represent a very stubborn situation that defies every form of solution; the more you pray the more it remains unshakable. Unless you confront your mountain it will never move; to uproot your mountain you need to be spiritually stubborn, that is having a never give up spirit. If Jesus Christ is in you the mountain will not wait for you, it will skip like a ram because he knows how to level a mountain; without the presence of God that mountain will remain unshaken. Mountain does not respect tears, it only understands the language of power. Friends, I don't know how many destinies that everlasting mountain in your family has cripples but I have good news for you, your destiny will not be counted among them, in Jesus name. What happens to others in your family will not happen to you because He who lives in you is greater than the devil. The anointing to overcome the mountain is coming upon you today, in the mighty name of Jesus.

The mountain saw the children of Israel and skipped like a Ram because God was with them. Zachariah the prophet did not boast until he saw God's power and anointing upon Zerubbabel; he knew that Zerubbabel was ready to confront his mountain and he began to warn the mountain. He was speaking to the mountain, saying to you this everlasting mountain you have been stopping others from passing this level let see how you are going to stop Zerubbabel today. 

Zechariah 4:2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: 3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

Zechariah 4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. 

Three major things are needed to remove them from obstructing your movement. Faith is the major weapon, Grace is required because it is not by not by might but by the Spirit of God. Anointing of the Holy Ghost is required and constant refilling of the anointing is a non-negotiable weapon.

Matthew 17:18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. 20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. 21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Until your pipe is connected to the lamps you cannot shift the mountain, you need to connect your pipe to the olive tree for the lamp to keep burning if not that mountain will continue staring at you. Jesus Christ is the one with the seven Spirit of God; and without him, you can do nothing. For someone who is reading this message right now, maybe you were once connected to him but you fell off or you had no connection with him before; I have good news for you, his hand is stretched forth to receive you now, quickly pray this salvation prayer below and receive power to level your mountain, in Jesus name.

THE SPIRITS OF JUST MEN MADE PERFECT

Hebrews 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Having a scriptural role model is very important to every believer even though all the kingdom giants in the scripture are our role models. There should be a character in the bible that you admire so much and you just want to be like them or achieve the same result he or she accomplishes in their relationship with God. The spirit of the just men made perfect is the spirit of the saints of God in heaven. God does not reinvent the wheel. They are our mentor who has gone to be with the Lord but there is no distance in the spirit. That is why whenever God is going for the General Assembly meeting he goes with them to give impartation to anyone who is craving and thirsty for the same spiritual gifts. Luke 1:16 (And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. 17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord). The spirit of Elijah was at work in the life of John the Baptist and the Spirit of Moses manifested in the life of Joshua. If you want to manifest what Paul the Apostle manifested you need to crave for the same grace and during the meeting of the General Assembly he will come and impart you with the same gift. Impartation means transference of a spiritual gift; that is, you enter into the labour of another person; someone has paid the price for the gift you desire and all you have to do is make your request known to God, prepare yourself as a vessel of honour and He will impart you with the same grace. Abraham is known to be very obedient to God's instruction; if you want to obey God the same way Abraham did then you need to be imparted with his kind of grace. The first thing to do is to study the lifestyle of Abraham and his work with God and then make your request known to God in prayer. I used to pray for the baptismal of the spirit of Holiness and servanthood in the order of Joseph and Daniel because I love the way they made a decision for righteousness and stood by it against all odds; guess what; the grace came. I learned from my Father, Bishop David Oyedepo that you can be specific in the kind of grace you desire. Remember, it is not by power nor by might but by the spirit of God (Zachariah 4:6). To live a holy life we need the indwelling of the spirit of holiness because it is not by our power but by the grace of God. The question is, as you go through the scripture, who among the giants of Faith is your role model? Elisha asked for a double portion of the spirit of Elijah and he received it. 

Matthew 17:1 (And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. 3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him).

Friends, have you ever wondered what Moses and Elijah were discussing with Jesus; I believe they were there to impart him after he waited on God in prayer and fasting for six days asking for the strength of Moses and Elijah to face the forthcoming persecution. Friends, if Jesus needed impartation from the spirit of just men made perfect to fulfill destiny, then you and I need the same and can also access it by following his footsteps (Hebrews 12:2). So, the next time you go to church be conscious of the hosts of heaven and be aware that you are in a General assembly meeting where your case is going to be handled. In summary, don´t go to church casually, be serious-minded and prepare your vessel and keep it clean, ready to receive a spiritual gift. 

2 Timothy 2:21 (If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work).

No matter how often you appear in Zion for the General assembly you will not receive the impartation until you purge yourself from everything that defiles a man. Your matter cannot be part of the agenda if you are not a member of God's household; It is your responsibility to keep your vessel clean. Salvation is available for everyone but it is a personal decision to want to be saved. Jesus Christ is ready to receive anyone who would be ready to make this decision right now by praying this salvation prayer below and becoming a member of the household of God.
