OVERCOMING MOUNTAIN: PART 3 (THE ENEMIES OF OUR DESTINY AND THE PLACE OF EMPOWERMENT)

Zechariah 4:6(Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, this is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. 7. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it). In the journey of life, you may find yourself stuck in one place not making progress. It can be very stressful, because no matter how hard you try as a human, you will find yourself in the same spot. It does not have to be so. That’s where grace is needed. Except God comes to your rescue and gets you out of the jam, you will remain there until time passes you by. He knows the way, he designed your destiny, he gave you that purpose and he alone can get you to your destination. Psalm 127:1(Except the LORD builds the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain). I pray for you today, that you will not labour in vain in Jesus name. The journey of destiny is not something we can do by relying on own strength. We need to be empowered in order to be able to contend with the forces that may not want us to fulfill our destiny. In our text today, Zerubbabel was meant to build the house of God as Governor of Judah, but he was faced with strong opposition. These enemies are his mountain, but because of his relationship with God, he was empowered to deal with it. “Who art thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain” we need this kind of assurance from God as we continue with our journey here on earth. That’s why we need to build a personal relationship with God. Zech 4:8(Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 9. The hand of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands also shall finish it; and thou shalt know that LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you). I don’t know where you are right now in your journey or how much opposition you are facing. The good news is that you can move forward. I pray for you today, that you will complete your journey in Jesus name. It is you that will decide whether you need God’s help or not. Take a step today and start building a relationship with him by saying this prayer of salvation. Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I am a sinner, I cannot help myself, forgive me my sins, cleanse me with your precious blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and saviour. Now I know, I am Born Again, Amen. #womanyouarefree www.womanuarefree.blogspot.com neneisahoc@gmail.com
