Joel 2:7(They shall run like a mighty
men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march everyone
on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: 8 Neither shall one thrust
another; they shall walk everyone in his path: and when they fall upon the
sword, they shall not be wounded).
As we continue in the race of destiny;
we cannot be ignorant of satanic diversion because no one will intentionally
not want to fulfill his or her destiny if they know what God has created them
for; since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden man purpose was defeated but
God has found a way of restoring man purpose through His Son Jesus Christ. The
mandate was stolen from man by the devil and man begins to do evil like him
instead of doing good things like God. At new birth we have our mandate back
but the person who stole it from us will not rest until he can take it again.
That’s why we need power to manifest our destiny (John 1:12).
Satan has so many ways that he designs and masters to stop us from achieving
our goal. He creates diversion so that you can miss your way and when you are
not on the right path the purpose has been defeated. Satan’s main agenda is to
make sure that you don’t get to your destination; but the good news is that you
can overcome. Some started their race on a good note but end up very bad or
even drop in the middle. The crown is given at the end of the race, and the one
who is awarding the prize said that His soul does not have pleasure in those
who draw back (Hebrews 10:38). Satanic diversion is real but more
real is God’s overcoming power by leading us through the path of righteousness
in order to glorify His name (Psalm 23:3). Satan diversion’s plan
will be staring in your face; you need discipline and extreme focus to overcome
them. That’s the picture the bible painted to us of the men in the book of Joel
chapter 2. They were so focused that no obstacle could stop them; they were
trained not to see the obstacles. Those men are meant to be you and me; God is
showing us how we should run the race. They overcame every obstacle on their
way. They were not distracted nor diverted. The one leading them was in front
clearing the way and that’s where their focus is. Those obstacles are Satan’s
diversion plan but it didn’t work; it will not work in your life in Jesus name.
You have to be aware of your overcoming power that has been deposited in you at
new birth. 1 John 4:4(For whatsoever is born of God overcameth the world:
and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he
that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of
God?). Just like Paul the Apostle was aware of his overcoming power.
You need the mentality of an overcomer to conquer the devil and receive your
award. Philippians 3:13(Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended:
but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching
forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the
prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus). This scripture has
summarized everything we need to know about our call and what to do to overcome
satanic diversion; may the LORD give us understanding in Jesus name. If you are
focusing on your past, which means you are not focusing on God and you will
lose Him because He does not take record your past. Going back to the past is
slowing down and you can’t move forward carrying a heavy load. Jesus Christ
said we should drop our burden at his feet (Matthew 11:28). In
case you are not yet born of God; here is another opportunity for you to do so
and be enrolled into the race and be part of the overcomer’s family.
Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I am a
sinner, and I cannot help myself, forgive me my sins, and cleanse me with your
precious blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. Lord
Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and savior. Now I know I am Born Again, Amen.
