FAITH BOOSTERS: PART 2

Life is a journey and everyone that has passed through life has embarked on this journey no matter who the person is; which means the same road that you are going through some one has passed there before you. The bible which is the manufacturer’s manual is full of the account of those who have passed through the journey of life. God recorded their experience in order for us to be successful in our journey; that’s why he told Joshua not to ever allow the book to depart from him because his success lies in the book (Joshua 1:8). Even here on earth, on a daily basis people are given the account of their encounter with God and the resultant effect. The resultant effect of every genuine encounter with God is testimony; that’s what makes testimony a faith booster. The testimony of others can boost our faith; because testimony has capacity to reproduce itself. Hebrews 11:6(But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is the rewarder of them that diligently seek him). How does God reward them that diligently seek him? He answers those who believe and trust in Him with proof. There are those who have put their confidence in God by doing what God asked them to do and they have proof to show that it pays to trust God and to do exactly what He asks us to do. The examples of them are: Noah, he was moved to build an ark by faith and his action saves the human race. Abraham sacrificed Isaac, his only promised son that he waited for 25 years to receive because he said God can give him back, he trusted God completely and God rewarded him with generational blessings which we are part of today (Hebrews 11:7,17-19) (Genesis 22:1-18). The woman with the issue of blood believes in her heart that touching Jesus Christ’s garment will make her whole and she was healed. Matthew 9:21(For she said within herself If I may but touch his garment I shall be made whole). Her testimony produces other testimonies. The testimony of the faithfulness of God in the life of others is a booster for someone else's faith. The people who heard the testimony of the woman with the issue of blood did the same thing and were healed. Matthew 4:36(And besought him that they might touch his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole). As an individual when I gave my life to Christ, I really don’t know how to pray much but I believe in the testimony of others from the altar. Thank God for our church. They always emphasize on what the challenge is, the step you took and the result; so I keyed into the one that seems like what I needed and do the same thing, and guess what I got the same result. Those testimonies boost my faith that if God could do it for them he can do it for me also because I am His daughter too. Jesus Christ passes through life and he has testimonies. Revelation 19:10(And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, see thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy). The more of the testimony of Jesus you have the more boosted your faith will be and those challenges will only bow to your faith. Let your bible be your companion and take responsibility. I am sure somebody's faith has been boosted and he or she wants to put it in action by accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and saviour. Here is the opportunity you have been waiting for; your waiting is over in Jesus name.

Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I am a sinner, and I cannot help myself, forgive me my sins, and cleanse me with your precious blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and saviour. Now I know I am Born Again, Amen.
