Matthew 27:29 (And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! 31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him).
Draft dodger is an American term used to describe a person who avoided compulsory military service. In this kingdom, we are called the Armies of God; we are here on earth for compulsory military service. Without enduring the crown of thorns, you may not be able to obtain the crown of glory; the main crown is the crown of glory, but for every great man, there is a crown of thorns prepared by the enemy to mock you, thinking you are not going to get the crown of glory prepared for you by God. Joseph was mocked by his brothers; they stripped him naked of his clothes of many colours, but little did they know that they had been played.
Genesis 37:18 (And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him. 19 And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh. 20 Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams. 23 And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stript Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colours that was on him);
Thorn represents pain, a heartbroken situation, trial, and affliction that men of destiny may have to go through before their enthronement. Thorns are meant to choke the good seed that God has deposited in your destiny. The plan of God for you is to receive the crown of glory, but for every crown of glory, there are crowns of thorns trying very hard to cover it. My prayer for everyone reading this message right now is that the Lord will keep you awake spiritually and physically and keep the enemy far away from your territory, in Jesus' name. You cannot change classes without a promotional exam; our incorruptible crown comes with mockery. Christ was mocked so that we can receive our incorruptible crown. It is the wisdom of God to deceive Satan of all his plans. He will think he has won. Paul said a thorn in the flesh was given to him. You want greatness, but you hate the sight of a thorn. Recognising the thorn early will help you to put it where it belongs.
2 Corinthians 12:7(And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me).
Everyone has that thorn that the enemy has prepared to mock the power of God that you are carrying. Because of the special love that God has for you, it is the reason for the thorn. Jesus endured the pain when that thorn was put on his head; he never complained. When you complain, your enemy will intensify their mockery, but when you ignore and endure, you will share your testimony. The way to overcome this kind of trial is to focus on God; it is part of our endurance training as we move forward. You are not limited and not deprived, so don´t fall into the temptation of complaining or murmuring. That thorn is to see if you will turn against God.
Friends, i don´t know who have been mocking the grace of God upon your life but i have a good news for you, the same way God enthroned Jesus and gave him a name that is above every other name; the same way He enthrone Paul the Apostle and the same way that He enthroned Joseph and at the end of their journey it was obvious that God was never far from them. The Lord will enthrone you, and your testimony shall be transgenerational, in the name of Jesus. Without a genuine relationship with Jesus, enduring the crown of thorns will be an illusion; Christ says that without him we can do nothing. Here is another opportunity for you to say yes to Jesus today, by praying this salvation prayer below, and be blessed, in Jesus' name
Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and accept You as my Lord and Saviour. I believe you died for me to make me a new man/woman. Forgive me all my sins, wash me with your blood, and give me a new heart. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul. Now I believe that I am born again. And I am a child of God. Amen!
