Let us not deceive ourselves; if you really want to manifest your original purpose here on earth, sanctification is a non-negotiable requirement; it is a must in a believer´s life. Our inheritance in Christ is among the sanctified, and to lay hold on them, we need total separation from the world. The percentage of people who never knew God´s purpose for their lives is alarming. To prove me wrong, walk up to people and ask each of them if they know the original purpose for which they are here on earth. You will be shocked by the response. Disconnection from purpose is the reason for so much crime in the world today; people live carelessly because they have no value for their maker. They have no connection with God, and life becomes meaningless. If the purpose of a product is not known, abuse is inevitable. It is very important to know why you are here on earth so that you can focus.
Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
Galatians 1:15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, 16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
Sanctification is an act of separation to God; we are sanctified by the finished work of Christ on the cross of Calvary. That is why Paul the Apostle said that God separated him from his mother´s womb. God said he had ordained Jeremiah before he formed him in her mother's womb to be a prophet (Jeremiah 1:5). You cannot do God's assignment without sanctification. You cannot be a true representative of Christ here on earth without sanctification. Sanctification is God transforming us from within to be a complete image of his son. Jesus said the disciples are being sanctified because of the word he speaks to them. But we have to surrender ourselves to God for sanctification; for our minds to be renewed they have to have a willing heart. We are separated from the world to do the work of God; to be called God´s own. We are called the children of God because of sanctification. God says 2 Corinthians 6:17 (Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty).
We are sanctified because of our relationship with Jesus; our association with Jesus is what sanctifies us. To be sanctified is to be separated; sanctification is a process; we are sanctified by the blood of Jesus and by the forgiveness of our sins. When you give your life to Christ, your sins are forgiven, and you are cleansed from every form of unrighteousness. But to remain sanctified, you need to continue walking with God.
1 Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Until you separate yourself, you cannot manifest your destiny; I told people that 90% of people living on earth are not manifesting their original purpose, but that does not mean they will not prosper; yes, they may be prospering through hard work and commitment. There is a line between purpose and original purpose, and people can easily miss it. The manufacturer of a mobile phone has an original intent before manufacturing it, but the end user may not know the original purpose and may end up using it as a touch light instead. The phone is fulfilling a purpose, but not its original purpose. Knowledge of who you are in Christ will make you subscribe to a life of holiness. You need to desire it, pray for it, ask God for grace, because it is not by power, not by might. Grace will come only when we desire and ask for it, as we all know that God will not force His will on anyone. Until you separate yourself, your destiny will not be revealed. Our perfect example is Jesus Christ, who was separated right from his mother´s womb. John the Baptist was separated right from his mother's womb. Samson was separated right from his mother's womb, but he decided to make his own choice that led to his destruction. He grew up and refused to remain separated, big boy, and he got his eyes plucked. That will not be you, in Jesus name. Your prayer should be O God, reveal myself to me. Many believers have received the revelation of who they are from God, but did not stand by their decision to remain sanctified, so their destiny becomes only a dream that never sees the light of day, but that will not be you, in Jesus name.
Satan, the devil, knows that your inheritance is among the sanctified, and what he does is to defile his victim to separate them from God and deprive them of access to their inheritance. God cannot stay in an unholy vessel; He does not walk in the company of defiled people,
2 Timothy 2:21 (If a man therefore purges himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work).
Friends, it is time to purge yourself from the corruption of this world, separate yourself from the defilers, and come over to Jesus. All he requires is your willingness to walk with him and your decision to accept him as your Lord and saviour. Quickly take this opportunity, and invite him into your life by praying the salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus name.
Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and accept You as my Lord and Saviour. I believe you died for me to make me a new man/woman. Forgive me all my sins, wash me with your blood, and give me a new heart. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul. Now I believe I am born again. And I am a child of God. Amen!
