Mark 16:15 (And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned).
Heaven has an agenda, and we are part of it; we are to contribute to its success. God had you and me in mind when He was itemising His programme for the world, You are not a biological mistake, your existence was well planned by God (Jeremiah 1:5). Your location, your place of birth, and everything that makes you who you are, was well arranged by Him, who knows your end from the beginning (Jeremiah 29:11). We are here to serve His purpose, and that is why He created us in His image, so that we can be able to replicate His work here on earth. The burden of finding our place in God solemnly lies on our shoulders because we are responsible for the outcome of our lives. When you are hungry, you know that you need food and the exact food that you need. In the same way, no one needs to teach that you are absolutely responsible for whatever comes out of your lives. No one is to blame for our failure because the place we give to people, including the devil, is where they will occupy in our lives. You have the power to set a boundary.
God created the animals, but Adam named them; that was his contribution to God's work.
The primary objective of God is to populate His kingdom and to replicate heaven here on earth. His agenda was to paint the exact picture of heaven here on earth. That is why the first thing he did during creation was to create light, and the presence of light cleared off the darkness.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
Adding joy to heaven is our primary contribution towards its agenda. Luke 15:7 (I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance).
The agenda of heaven is to be populated; it is the will of God for all men to be saved and come to know the truth (1 Timothy 2:4), and to make it a reality, God has sent you and me to carry out this agenda the same way he sent his only begotten Son, Jesus.
Genesis 1:27 (So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth).
There was no darkness in man when God created him because he was created in the image of God, and God is light. We are the light of the world, a city on a hill that cannot be hidden, but until our light multiplies, darkness will continue to have its way in the lives of men. The objective is for the light to multiply on earth, replenish it, that is, making it so glamorous and beautiful, and subdue the darkness and begin to rule and exercise dominion. So, the agenda was total dominion and eradication of darkness. I will speak more about it in our next article. Please stay connected.
Jesus said I go about my father's business. Even as a little child, he was aware of his contribution towards the heavenly agenda. He was so conscious of who he was as a businessman, heaven's sales boy (Luke 2:49). If you are not contributing, you cannot expect a reward. The main contribution is soul-winning; it is every believer's business. Except God is not your father, that is the only way you can be excluded.
Matthew 5:14 (Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven).
Friends, the question today is, are you contributing towards this heaven's agenda to lighten the whole world? Are people glorifying God because of the light in you? Only light can challenge darkness. Are you light? Only the son and daughter of God are qualified to be part of heaven's business. Are you a child of God? If your answer is yes, then congratulations, go ahead and begin to multiply your light by getting others to see the light you are carrying and get lighted by your light. If you are not yet a daughter or son of God, this is the time to change location by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour by praying the salvation prayer below, and be blessed, in Jesus name.
Colossians 1:12 (Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:)
Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and accept You as my Lord and Saviour. I believe you died for me so that I could become a new man/woman. Forgive me all my sins, wash me with your blood, and give me a new heart. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul. Now I believe I am born again. And I am a child of God. Amen!
