John 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 40 Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.
Every business has a goal and sets a standard to achieve it. In this kingdom business, the main goal is to populate the kingdom of our dear God and depopulate hell. Matthew 6:33 (But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you). To focus on this assignment, we are to live a kingdom-priority lifestyle and avoid every form of distraction; we need to keep our eyes on the ball.
John 12:32 (And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me).
Jesus knows exactly why he came to this world; he came to draw all men to God and he is still doing the same today. Not making altar calls at the end of every sermon is a misplaced priority. There is no room for assumption regarding the issue of salvation. Once saved is not always saved; as a minister of the gospel, we need to always create an opportunity for people to give their lives to Christ. The essence of the gospel is to draw all men to God through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the greatest marketer of all time and he has taught us how to market this product called salvation and our ability to persuade people to buy into it, is what makes us a successful marketer and ambassador. Even if I preach the gospel to the same set of people over and again I will continue to make the altar call, not to embarrass or insult anyone but to make sure that all of us make heaven at the end of our journey without any assumption. Every message is directed toward salvation; when I talk to you, I am targeting you for my product and every conversation will be aimed at your salvation.
Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of our faith; he is our teacher; and everything he does is targeted towards salvation, drawing men to himself; even his death on the cross was to draw all men to himself. At the end of every sermon he will cry with a loud voice saying, come unto me, believe in me, follow me; these and many more are the keywords he uses to market the kingdom of God to people.
Matthew 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. 20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
We are to do the same; we are to continue shouting, come unto Jesus, he is our saviour. We are to attract people with the great act that he has done in our lives; if we begin to sell this product; Jesus Christ will be committed to our well being because he wants you to continue to have some proof to show that indeed your product works. Our job is to point people to the cross where Jesus Christ was hung so that they can be together with him in heavenly places where he is now seated at the right of God the Father (Ephesian 2:6).
John 12:26 If any man serves me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serves me, he will my Father honour.
Friends, today is another great day; Jesus Christ is calling people to follow him and it is your turn to be made and moulded into that perfect image God has created you to be; hurry up and follow him by praying this salvation prayer below.
Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I am a sinner, and I cannot help myself, forgive me my sins, and cleanse me with your precious blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and saviour. Now I know I am Born Again, Amen.
