THE TRANSFORMING POWER OF GOD

Galatians 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

God's transforming power is in salvation; it is in the finished work of Christ on the cross. The old nature of man, which is sin, has been nailed to the cross, but until we embrace the new nature, which is the nature of Christ, our life cannot be transformed. Change is one thing that is constant in life because every living object is subject to change. Men want their story to change, but the process that leads to that change is what they don't want, and that is very sad.

Until Christ comes into your life and forms inside of you, your life cannot be transformed. New birth is a transition from what you used to know to what you need to know and embrace. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new).

As soon as you surrender your life to Christ, the change is automatic in the spirit realm, and we know that the spiritual controls the physical. You have been translated from darkness to light; so, in the physical realm, you must consciously drop all the properties of darkness that are in your possession (Colossians 1:13-14). For example, The bible says that Saran is the father of all liars; so, you drop the lies, stealing, killing, and many other things that belong to darkness (Galatians 5:19-21). Jesus Christ will handle the spiritual aspect of your transformation, but it is your responsibility to walk away from all the old things that identify you with darkness and never look back. You need character reformed, and that is what salvation does: a new perspective towards life, a new way of living, a new life in Christ. Character transformation is a process; it requires knowledge and understanding. Without understanding the demand of our new birth, we would not be able to walk in the newness of life. Christ is the word of God, and until he is formed in us, nothing changes around us, and our new birth, which is supposed to be a thing of honour, can be ridiculed. Christ, who is the word of God, is our mirror, and as we continue to study him and walk in him, the change we desire will manifest, and it will affect every area of our lives.

2 Corinthians 3:18 (But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord).

We are to let the old man remain buried and perish, and enjoy the glory which Christ has purchased for us.

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Romans 7:6 (But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter).

Friends, if the result you are getting now is not what you desire, then you need to introspect and amend your relationship with Jesus, who can overturn your result anytime and any day. Say yes to Jesus today, and he will turn you into a new person. Quickly pray this salvation prayer below and begin to walk in the newness of life. God bless you.

Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and accept You as my Lord and Saviour. I believe you died for me to make me a new man/woman. Forgive me all my sins, wash me with your blood, and give me a new heart. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul. Now I believe that I am born again. And I am a child of God. Amen!
