In this kingdom, you don't need to go along to get along; it's a great mistake. Destiny race requires an individualistic approach and mindset if no one will run in vain, but that will not be you, in Jesus' name. Not everyone is going to the same location as you, so you don't need to go along to belong. Face your race and obtain your prize; you don't have a joint destiny with anyone, and you are not in competition with anyone; like I always say, you are competing with yourself in the race of destiny. Losing focus is not advisable. You are on your own, and you alone will stand before God to give an account of your journey here on earth. It is an individual race, and it is important to take note of all this because it will help you to remain focused and to win the race. Look up to Jesus because looking up to men will land you in serious trouble with God and can lead to frustration. God does not want to share His glory with any man, and the fastest way to enter into trouble with Him is to rely on men, because when they disappoint you, the first word that will proceed out of your mouth will be that you don't blame them. And if you don't blame them, who are you blaming them; yourself or God? When you blame God for relying on the arms of men, you will enter trouble with Him, and who will settle that matter? Friends, the reason for the stagnation may be that you are in the company of people who are not running the same race as you.
Genesis 12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
Abraham kept tolerating Lot, and he did not see clearly until the Lord intervened. The clock is ticking, and it will not pause for you. You know the right thing to do, but because you want to belong, you keep getting along. Stop tolerating nonsense; learn to disassociate yourself from unprofitable friends and associates. Your race is more important than the crowd you are chasing after; it is time to choose your lane and focus before it is too late. If your eye is firmly fixed on the prize, you will definitely get it, and then the crowd you are chasing after will come running after you.
Genesis 13:14 And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: 15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
To win the race or not is absolutely your decision. The result you obtained is what will draw multitudes to you. You are a king and a queen ordained by God to rule here on earth, and that is all the more reason you need to go for the crown first, because without the crown, you will not be able to rule over anyone. Friends, don't be afraid to separate because some separation is necessary. There was a time in my life when I was dragging someone along, but he became too heavy for me to carry. I kept managing because I wouldn't want to offend God. It got to a point where the Lord rebuked me when I began to adjust to the wrong thing the person was doing. He said, Are you supposed to follow him or is he to follow you? He uses the example of Moses, Miriam. and Aaron, saying they are siblings, but each has a different relationship with him. Friends, since then, I have learned to run my race alone, and if I fail, I will have myself to blame; if I win, I will give glory to God. Abraham's separation from Lot does not stop him from interceding for him. The keyword is, everyone is not running the same race as you, and you don't have a joint destiny with anyone, so focus on your assignment.
Friends, the only person you need to please is God because without Him, you can do nothing. He is the way, the alpha, and the omega; He knows your end from the beginning. It is wise to follow not just the person who knows the way but the way itself, and if you have no relationship with him yet, here is another opportunity to say yes to him by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name
Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and accept You as my Lord and Saviour. I believe you died for me to make me a new man/woman. Forgive me all my sins, wash me with your blood, and give me a new heart. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul. Now I believe I am born again. And I am a child of God. Amen!
