LET IT REMAIN IN THE TRASH

2 Peter 2:22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Proverbs 26:11 As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.

As we continue on this journey, many decisions will be made by us or anyone else along the way; some may favour us and some may not, but that should not hinder us from moving forward. Some things are better to remain where they belong. When you drop something in the trash, it means you no longer need it; please don't go looking for what you have already disposed of; it will be a great mistake. Only dogs go back to their vomit. When you touch that trash can, it has become poisonous. Today, many have taken poison in the process of going back to their past. Apostle Paul understands this narrative so well that he said he does not go back to those things that profit him not.

Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Many believers are frustrated today because of the mistake of going back to the same thing that held them down for years. If you keep looking back, you may never reach the goal. Friends, the blood of Jesus has cleansed you. Please stay far away from pollution and contamination, because if your life is polluted, good things will not come near you. The reason for the pollution is to chase away those whom God has ordained to add value to your life. No reasonable person would want to pick something from the dustbin. You have a great destiny, a bright future ahead of you, but you need to sanctify yourself and stay away from contamination. Friends, don't reduce yourself to the trash level; going back to pick up what you have trashed is diminishing. God has elevated you; please strive to go higher and don't look back.

Those behaviours that held you back for years that you finally dropped, please don't go back to them. When you left, they mocked you, saying it was just a matter of time before you returned. The question is, are you going to prove them right? Say no to their prediction; you have made the right decision; stay where you are and continue to move from glory to glory. Friends, some things belong in the trash; the unclean spirit knows where they belong, and that is why they beg Jesus to cast them out and let them enter into the swine; you are not their candidate (Mark 5:11-12).  Friends, if you are still struggling with something you might have picked from the trash while you were still trying to find your way up, please, now that you have been stabilised, trash it before it is too late. Are you still struggling with addiction of any kind? I have good news for you. Run to Jesus, he is the only one who can help you overcome that spirit of filthiness (2 Corinthians 7:1). Say no to that unclean spirit and say yes to Jesus by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name.

Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and accept You as my Lord and Saviour. I believe you died for me to make me a new man/woman. Forgive me all my sins, wash me with your blood, and give me a new heart. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul. Now I believe I am born again. And I am a child of God. Amen!
