TESTIMONY IN MOCKERY (THE MAKING OF A GREAT MAN)

This article is the continuation of our last article titled (OVERCOMING THE MESSENGER OF SATAN).

If there is no testimony in view, you will not be mocked; the mockery is the most important ingredient in what God is cooking for you, and without it, your testimony will not be completed. The only people who should be bothered about mockery are those who are not in a relationship with Christ. The difference between you and those in that category is that, you know who you are and you know who you believe and you are sure of His commitment towards your goal in life. 

2 Timothy 1:12 (For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day).

Whenever any lingering affliction becomes a mockery, just know that the devil is begging you for attention; he wants to distract you to hinder your journey. The ability to quickly recognise and treat it as such is what makes you an overcomer. Your more than a conqueror title can only emerge after the devil has thrown all that he has against you and yet is unable to defeat you. Always remember that the king of glory himself was mocked by the same people he came to save. If they mocked him, what makes you special that you think they will not mock you? The mockery is Satan throwing a tantrum at you for daring to be special. Please ignore him and keep moving forward. Satan hates to be ignored, and that is how to defeat him; he loves attention.

Matthew 27:38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left. 39 And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, 40 And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. 41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said, 42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. 43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God. 44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.

When we study the example of Jesus´ trial and Paul the Apostle, we will come to understand that we are not meant to pray over such a situation more than three times if we know and understand who we are in Christ (Luke 22:39-44). Jesus Christ saw it coming, and He was distressed, and prayed for God to take it away if possible, and if not, let His will be done. When it was clear to Him that it was a must, He surrendered to the will of God, and His strength was renewed. 2 Corinthians 12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 

Surrendering to the will of God is not a weakness because you are not surrendering to the will of your enemy. Jesus said to Pilate that he had no power over him at all (John 19:11). In the same way, Satan and his agents have no power over you. The wisdom of God is not common among men; by the time God unveils you to them and they see what was hidden from them, they will gnash their teeth and say that had they known, they wouldn't have troubled you, and that maybe you would have made a mistake. That will be your testimony, in Jesus' name. Your enemies will regret their action; they will say that they have been played. 

1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Friends, your testimony will cause your mockers to commit suicide in the name of Jesus. It will cause everlasting confusion in their camp, in the name of Jesus. If Joseph´s enemies knew the moment they were selling Joseph into slavery that the very thing they envied him for was what they were moving him to go and fulfil, they would have left him with his father, but it was hidden from them. What they think they know about your future is just an icing on the cake; the main cake is covered from them.

Here is the testimony of Jesus: God exalted him and gave him a name that is above every name. The mockery of the enemy could not stop Paul from receiving his crown of righteousness. I also know that you, too, will receive your crown in the name of Jesus.

Philippians 2:7 (But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father).

2 Timothy 4:5 (But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. 6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing).

Friends, are you ready for the crown of righteousness? They are for those who love the appearance of Jesus. The journey begins by loving his appearance; please quickly say yes to Jesus today by praying this salvation prayer below, and be blessed, in Jesus' name

OVERCOMING THE MESSENGER OF SATAN

2 Corinthians 12:7 (And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Every great destiny has that infirmity that just refuses to get out, but if you focus on it, you will not make headway in your journey. Apostle Paul called it, the messenger of Satan; it is a Satanic harasser sent to distract you from focusing on your main assignment here on earth; your ability to recognize that lingering affliction and put them aside will fast-track your movement to the promised land. Psalm 34:19 (Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all).

Paul said that he has an infirmity, but he is not focusing on that; he even said he has prayed thrice asking God to take it away, but He said His grace was enough for him. That infirmity was a trap; for him to focus on himself and forget the main purpose he was called. 

When you resist the devil, he will flee away from you (James 4:7); that affliction is the devil begging you for attention. He is saying Focus on me and ignore your assignment. He wants to make a mockery of your greatness; he is saying you save others, but you cannot save yourself (Matthew 27:42). Your response should be that you are not meant to save yourself because Christ has already finished the job for you. That you have a mandate, you are ordained to rescue others from going to the pit of hell by introducing them to the saving grace of Jesus. Remember, Jesus Christ was mocked, and yet his focus was on God.  He also prayed thrice for the same reason for God to take the cup of affliction away from Him. He asked for the will of God to be done, and the Angel came to strengthen Him. That was a moment of weakness for Him, but in that weakness, the strength of God was made manifest. The Angel will not come for your help until you allow the will of God to have His way in your life because God will not support something that is not in His agenda for you. His prayer was, If it is your will, take it away. I  am not saying you should enjoy affliction, but Paul said that he learns to glory in those afflictions; the question you should ask yourself is, does this stop me from functioning as a person? Will it affect the outcome of my result? Is my God capable of removing it? Have I prayed enough? Am I in the right standing with God? That is, do I have His presence in my life? A proper analysis of the situation and your decision to trust God will make you an overcomer, any day, any time.  Before I became an intercessor, I had that lingering issue that refused to go away, and  I noticed praying over this particular issue looked like an obsession to me; I stopped praying over it, and I also don't want to be a prayer project for anyone.  I was not comfortable with it at all because I felt Satan was using that as an avenue to torment me, and I hate being vulnerable. I had my peace, and the Lord said to me, Daughter, it is settled, now begin to pray for other people. I ask myself, if God finds me worthy to give me other people´s prayer points, knowing that when I call, He will answer me, is He that wicked that He will ignore my own prayer? It doesn't make sense to me.  I said to myself This is a messenger of Satan sent to mock my relationship with God, and I refuse to be a victim. Friends, in our quest for a solution, let us be careful not to check out our sense of reasoning, so that we will not fall prey to the hand of the fake prophet. Friends, stop obsessing over that lingering issue and focus on God; agree that any situation in your life that He cannot solve does not exist. 

Your personal conviction about yourself will help you to overcome any messenger of Satan; that is, knowing who you are and what you are destined to be; having the full knowledge of your personality. I know who I am, and that I am an extraordinary personality. If you are sure of the love of God for you and trust that He can do all things and that He can never be wrong, you will overcome any messenger of Satan sent from the pit of hell to mock what God has destined you to be. The word of God says that you shall know the truth and you shall be set free. Please don't let the things you need so much become an obsession if you can function very well without them. It is your entitlement, and God will not deny you. When you have found out what God wants you to do, please rest and trust him to do the work, for he said that his grace is sufficient for you, that is, the power to move ahead and look beyond that matter is inside of you. Depression is real, and it comes as a result of obsession over issues that are beyond your limit. Stop obsessing over things that do not glorify God; if not, you will make a mistake that will cost your glorious destiny; God forbid, that will not be you, in Jesus' name. 

Friends, the peace you desire and the power to overcome every circumstance can only be guaranteed when you have a genuine relationship with God. The opportunity to enter into that relationship is here again, hurry up and. Say Yes To Jesus by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name.

ARISE, O GOD

If you discover an enemy who failed in an attempt to kill or steal from you, don't keep him around because he will continue to try until he gets you. If God did not spare Satan, why should you spare his agents? You cannot be nicer than God; please wake up and guard your territory.

God has an enemy, and his name is Satan; he was chased down from heaven in his failed coup attempt. He is a thief; he wanted to hijack God's throne. He is the same enemy of the children of God; anyone who has the testimony of Jesus authentically becomes his target; he is after your testimony; He is busy seizing people's thrones; he is an expert in hijacking crowns and thrones; please don't fall into his traps. ( John 10:10).

Revelation 12:7 (And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him).

Psalm 68:1 Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. 2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. 3 But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.

Life is a battlefield, and we are in constant war with the enemies of our glorious destiny, but until we arise, they will not be scattered. Our absolute trust, confidence, and dependence on God is what will make Him arise on our behalf. God can only fight for those who believe and trust in Him. If you don´t have the presence of God with you, there is no way you can defeat your enemies. Because it is when you arise that He will arise, and that can only happen when you are one with Him. Two are better than one. You and Christ together are a formidable team that cannot be defeated.. When you give your life to Christ, you will become part of him. You in him and him in you; 

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

 

When you are inside of him, he goes wherever you go,  and when your enemy sees him, they will scatter. The spirit of God in you is gentle, and until you make a move, he will not respond. 

Psalm 24:7 (Lift up your head, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle).

We are in a do-it-yourself kingdom; we are trained to take responsibility. Faith is sharing responsibility with God to bring our desired result to pass. Whenever your Faith rises, is when God will arise. God can't believe for you; it is something that you need to do by yourself. 

Isaiah 54:15 (Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. 16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. 17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD).

You can't stop your enemies from gathering because the great destiny you carry is attracting them, but you can scatter them and their evil work. Gathering against the anointed is their assignment, and you cannot stop them from carrying out their job. God has given you and me the power to condemn their work, but until you arise, they will not stop. Friends, what are you still waiting for? arises and lets your enemy scatter.  If you are not a child of God, the weapon of the destroyer will continue to prosper against your life, and that is the reason why you should quickly run to God for divine covering. Quickly pray this salvation prayer below and come under the covering, in Jesus' name.

YOU A SOLUTION TO A PROBLEM

Proverbs 18:16 A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.

Everyone created by God has something to offer; God did not waste his time creating you the way you are to occupy space without adding value here on earth. Our approach to life will determine what we make of it, and our reaction to challenges will define who we truly are. Every challenge creates an opportunity for us to discover ourselves and showcase what God has deposited in us. Sometimes you won't know what you are capable of doing until you are pushed beyond your limit. We are created in the image of God, and He is a solution provider; so we are expected to solve problems. Adam was solving a problem in the Garden of Eden; he named all the animals single-handedly, but when he lost focus, he became a problem himself, and he was chased out of the garden. The beautiful garden that God has created for you, you will not lose it, in Jesus' name. No one wants to accommodate problems, but they will respect and welcome a problem solver. Joseph did not allow the prison to limit him or confine him in a corner; he continued to push by finding a way to make himself happy and useful. In serving people's interests, we are setting a ladder of success for ourselves. If he did not prove himself, there is no way the keeper of the prison would know what he is capable of doing. Joseph was a servant leader, and that is the leadership style of Jesus. He served his way to the top to validate what Jesus Christ told his disciples. Matthew 20:26 (But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many).

Genesis 40:6 And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad. 7 And he asked Pharaoh's officers that were with him in the ward of his lord's house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day? 8 And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you.

Genesis 39:9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?

Our example in today's message is Joseph. He embraces his challenges with an open heart, putting his trust in God; many believers today, when faced with just a little challenge they will start insulting God or considering suicide. Whenever you show bitterness towards God, you are opening a door for Satan to come in and give you a way out, and you know that his way is not other than death. His brothers betrayed him, but he embraced his new ordeal, trusting God that one day his deliverance would come. He went into slavery still holding God in high esteem, despite all his challenges and temptation, he did not insult God. Today, many believers blame God for their problems, which they created for themselves; without considering their faults, you will hear something like, Why did God not stop me? Imagine the audacity. You are blaming God when the right thing to do at the time is to ask for His mercy to reverse your situation. I do enter one chance sometimes; that is creating a serious problem for myself.  What I learn to do and believe is that God can never be wrong; whatever goes wrong in my life, I am to blame. With this belief, I do resolve to mercy. My prayer would be (O God, my Father, have mercy upon me, I am sorry, I made a mistake, forgive me, and help me, and get me out of this situation). He always comes to my rescue, and I know he will do the same thing for you if you genuinely ask for His help. He has a way of making people around him comfortable. He noticed the sadness in the eyes of the high-ranking prisoner, but he took advantage of their situation to promote his God. He is a problem solver, and that is why he was made a ruler over Portifars' business, and he was in charge of his fellow prisoners inside the prison. He uses his trying period to perfect his skill; instead of complaining and murmuring, he was busy perfecting his leadership and problem-solving skills. Friends, you need to set a standard for yourself, a line which you will not cross, so that you can please God in all your ways. Most often, we trade our skills for immediate rewards, which is not to be compared to the rewards that God has prepared for us if we focus on him. Some would say if you want your dream interpreted, you need to give him your lunch as payment, but Joseph did not do that. 

Psalm 105:19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him. 20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free. 21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, open my eyes to identify my gift, and lead me to where I am needed. I refuse to be a problem in the name of Jesus.

The chief butler forgot, but God did not forget Joseph. When the time came, he was set loose. Your time to be enthroned is here, in Jesus' name. Stop creating problems, and make use of your skill to solve problems because that is what you are in the world to do. God bless you.

CRUCIFYING THE OLD MAN IN YOU, PART 2

Life is a school that no one ever graduates from till they return home; we came from somewhere, and we are going back to where we came from. We are here for a purpose, and living a life without knowing the purpose for which you are here in the first place is a waste. When you know the reason why you engage in something, you tend to get better results than those who don't know why they are doing that particular thing. 

Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Having full knowledge of your redemption is critical in crucifying the old man inside of you. Knowing what the old man represents and his effect on your life, as well as the full benefit of your new identity, will help you walk fully in the newness of life. You also need to know how to permanently bury the old man and keep him where he belongs. The foundation of your new identity is to be grounded in the word of God; if you don't know who you are in redemption, you will not be able to take root downward and bear fruit upward. Your upward movement depends on the depth of your root. The new man in you comes from a kingdom that operates in law; some rules and regulations guide the affairs of the new man, and that is what sets him apart from others. Jesus Christ says Let the dead bury the dead. You are no longer a dead man, and you cannot be associating with the dead, or you will begin to stink like them. Dead stink; it smells, it has the power to corrupt the new man if he gets close to it. You are that incorruptible seed that the world is waiting for to manifest. John 5:14 (Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee).

Going back to where you were before your deliverance is like a dog going back to his vomit; you are waking up the dead, and it can be dangerous. That is why Jesus Christ has to quickly remind the impotent man he delivered at the pool to stay away from sin.

The old man is the Adamic nature, and the new man is the Messianic nature inside of you. The Adamic nature is dead because of sin, while the Messianic nature is alive, and he lives forever. Revelation 1:18  (I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death).

Until you cross over to take the messianic family you will continue to stink because dead stink and the bible say to Adam that the day he eats the forbidden fruit he will surely die(Genesis 2:17). And whatever comes out of him dies, and to live again, you need to be born again and be baptized into Christ.

John 6:47 (Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. 48 I am that bread of life. 49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die).

Sin and disobedience are the core manifestations of the old man, which is the Adamic nature, while obedience and righteousness are the core manifestations of the new man.

Ezekiel 18:20 (The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. 21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die).

The decision to be alive is yours; nobody can decide for you; you are on your own, because salvation is a personal race. Jesus loves you and he wants you to be alive; I love you and that is why I am writing this love letter to you right now; the best I can do is to make myself available as a tool and a channel that Jesus Christ can use to reach you. I pray you received him today, in good faith, and be blessed, in Jesus' name. 

John 5:24 (Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life).

Friends, for you to pass from death to eternal life, you need to say yes to Jesus by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name. Everything about your life shall come alive, in Jesus' name. That dead career, dead business, and vocation, I see them coming alive, in Jesus' name. Rejoice in your new beginning. CRUCIFYING THE OLD MAN IN YOU; PART 1

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Every born-again child of God has an old man inside of them before; he is hiding somewhere, looking for an opportunity to resurface; some have successfully killed and buried their old man. The old man has a nature of sin; he is full of corruption and cannot be allowed to stay. For you to walk in the newness of life, the old man inside of you needs to die; for all things to become new in your life, the old thing must be buried and forgotten. Why, because the dead have nothing to do with the living; they are contrary to one another, and they are worlds apart. The reason why we have many confused believers around us is that they allow the dead man to continue to interfere in their affairs. The dead have nothing to offer; so let him remain crucified so that the new man can manifest his destiny. Your transformation cannot be completed if the dead continue to walk even though he is buried. It is an error; if he is going to continue to disturb your growth, then burn him with the holy ghost and fire. He must die by fire, that bad habit, that addiction, they must die by fire and be burnt to ashes so that he will not be able to come back again. 

Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us who were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

When you give your life to Jesus, you have agreed to be buried with him by baptism and then raised from death and receive a new body that voids every form of defilement. You are born again to begin a new life that has nothing to do with your old self. Your old life has been crucified at the cross and should not be brought back. Being born again makes you one person with Christ; for two shall become one, even as Christ and Father are one. You have eternal life because Christ lives forever. When you are baptized with water, you are sanctified, your old self, the mud, has been washed with water, and a new you has emerged, ready to live a life that glorifies God. Whatever that does not glorify God in your life, whatever that is not in alignment with your new life, has to be washed away so that it will not continue to interfere with the new you. Everything about your new life has to be approached with a deep spiritual understanding. 

You are now a new creature that has nothing to do with the old; you are a newborn baby, and everything about you is brand new. You are no longer born of the flesh; you are born of the spirit, and the flesh no longer has power over you. No one can accuse you of any crime that old man committed because he is now dead, and a newborn baby cannot be charged with any crime. So, when the accuser of the brethren brings out any accusation against you, tell him, It wasn't you, that he is making a mistake. Your name, address, location, DNA, and all your features have changed. To walk in the newness of life, your mentality needs to change to that of an overcomer and more than a conqueror´s mentality. You need to be in alignment with your new life and glorify your Father in heaven, who has given you a new identity. Friends, are you struggling with any evil habit? Are you born again, and yet still manifesting your old character? Then this message is for you, quickly connect or reconnect to Jesus today and become one with Him by saying yes to his request. Hurry up and pray this salvation prayer below, and be free, in Jesus' name

Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and accept You as my Lord and Saviour. I believe you died for me to make me a new man/woman. Forgive me all my sins, wash me with your blood, and give me a new heart. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul. Now I believe that I am born again. And I am a child of God. Amen!
