THE ENEMIES OF YOUR RACE

Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Every great destiny has many adversaries; there is no greatness without opposition. Your ability to overcome every opposition is what makes you a great man and a great woman (1 Corinthians 16:9). The weight of your greatness lies in how much opposition you were able to crush as you continue on the race. Satan has no business opposing those who are not in the race; he is a destiny hunter; that is what he does for a living, and he is not ashamed of it. Job 1:7( And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it).

He knows how to set traps for his target, but you will not be his victim, in Jesus' name. The only way to avoid his trap is to focus on Jesus, focus on the goal, and keep your eyes on the destination. If you know how glorious your crown is, you will endure affliction, and that is why you need to ask God to open your eyes and show you your future (Genesis 13:14-17). 

The enemy of our race is Satan, but he uses weapons of distractions which manifest mostly in the form of sins, offence, complaint and murmuring, impatience, unforgiveness, and many more. You can't run the race with all this baggage; they are too heavy; the bible says that you will be wearied and faint in your mind. As a child of God, we have a thick wall of protection around us, but any of the above weapons of Satan can break the hedge, and the serpent will bite. Sin is a serious distraction; it will create a wedge between us and God, and without God, we can do nothing. When your mind is clouded with offence, you will lose your covering, and the weight of unforgiveness can set you back in the race. Complaining and murmuring are insults to God, and people get destroyed by that. If you complain, He will stay away from your midst, and guess who will rush in to afflict you, Satan the devil, but you will not fall into the temptation of murmuring, in Jesus' name. Those who murmured against God in the wilderness did not get to see the promised land; they lost out in the journey (Numbers 14:27-29 and 1 Corinthians 10:10). Dwelling on the past failure is a heavy weight that you cannot carry along with you on this journey;  when you keep looking back, you can never get to your destination. There is nothing in the past for you; your goal is in the future, and that is where your focus should be.

Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

The race of destiny is for the serious-minded people; you are to fight having a target in mind and not as one beating the air; that is a waste of energy, sweating but achieving nothing. That will not be you, in Jesus' name, you will achieve your God given purpose, in Jesus' name.

Your focus should be on Him that knows how to make every crooked way straight; that knows how to break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron (Isaiah 45:2). Friends, but cannot focus on someone whom you don't know and that is why you need to become His son by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour. ALL EYES ON THE CROWN

1 Corinthians 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

Living without a goal is not living at all; for everyone here on earth has something given to them by God to pursue. A new baby depends on his mother for everything, but as soon as he is aware of his environment, the race for independence begins. He will be trying to be like others and to be independent. The race of independence will starts as soon as the baby begins to sit by himself without support. He will want to crawl and then take steps to walk. That is how life is designed to be; we move from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). Stagnation and living without purpose are not part of God´s plan for His children. So you are not meant to be without a goal; if you are just living without a desire to pursue anything, then you are under a serious bondage.

There is a crown for everyone, but not everyone was able to obtain it due to personal decision. The decision to follow God, who knows how the race will end, and who has the roadmap to our destination, is the best decision any person can make. No matter how fast you move towards the wrong direction, you will never arrive at your destination. Your crown of glory, which is incorruptible, is at the place where God has prepared for you, and the agenda of the devil is to make sure that you miss it. 

All eyes are on that glorious crown that God has prepared for you, and that is why the battle is so tense, but if you focus on it, then your enemies will lose their focus.

Hebrews 12:2 (Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God).

When you focus on Jesus, who has called you into the race, Satan will definitely lose his focus because he cannot focus on your God. The light is too bright for him to stare at because he can only operate in darkness.. The only way he can successfully distract you from focusing on the race is to lure you into darkness. Please don´t let him. Distraction is one of the enemies of our race, and that is why our eyes need to be single to be able to focus; you run to obtain, and you don't start running without a destination in mind. God has a crown for everyone; a different crown for each stage. Some have more than one crown; it all depends on how far you can run because for every major milestone, there is a crown to claim. The crowns are in sizes, as we know that our heads are not the same size and shape; so the more glorious your crown is, the bigger your challenges, but God will not allow you to face any challenges that you are not equipped to conquer. Without Jesus in your life, you are running the race to obtain a corruptible crown; for the main race is for the incorruptible crown, and it starts at new birth. Christ died for all so that everyone can obtain this crown, but only those who believed in His crucifixion are entitled to the incorruptible crown. To lay hold of your crown, you need to say yes to Jesus, which is the first step towards the manifestation of your glorious destiny. Friends, make the decision today by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name.

REFUSE TO BE A DRAFT DODGER (DODGING THE CROWN OF THORNS)

Matthew 27:29 (And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! 31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him).

Draft dodger is an American term used to describe a person who avoided compulsory military service. In this kingdom, we are called the Armies of God; we are here on earth for compulsory military service. Without enduring the crown of thorns, you may not be able to obtain the crown of glory; the main crown is the crown of glory, but for every great man, there is a crown of thorns prepared by the enemy to mock you, thinking you are not going to get the crown of glory prepared for you by God. Joseph was mocked by his brothers; they stripped him naked of his clothes of many colours, but little did they know that they had been played. 

Genesis 37:18 (And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him. 19 And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh. 20 Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams. 23 And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stript Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colours that was on him);

Thorn represents pain, a heartbroken situation, trial, and affliction that men of destiny may have to go through before their enthronement. Thorns are meant to choke the good seed that God has deposited in your destiny. The plan of God for you is to receive the crown of glory, but for every crown of glory, there are crowns of thorns trying very hard to cover it. My prayer for everyone reading this message right now is that the Lord will keep you awake spiritually and physically and keep the enemy far away from your territory, in Jesus' name. You cannot change classes without a promotional exam; our incorruptible crown comes with mockery. Christ was mocked so that we can receive our incorruptible crown. It is the wisdom of God to deceive Satan of all his plans. He will think he has won. Paul said a thorn in the flesh was given to him. You want greatness, but you hate the sight of a thorn. Recognising the thorn early will help you to put it where it belongs. 

2 Corinthians 12:7(And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me).

Everyone has that thorn that the enemy has prepared to mock the power of God that you are carrying. Because of the special love that God has for you, it is the reason for the thorn. Jesus endured the pain when that thorn was put on his head; he never complained. When you complain, your enemy will intensify their mockery, but when you ignore and endure, you will share your testimony. The way to overcome this kind of trial is to focus on God; it is part of our endurance training as we move forward. You are not limited and not deprived, so don´t fall into the temptation of complaining or murmuring. That thorn is to see if you will turn against God.

Friends, i don´t know who have been mocking the grace of God upon your life but i have a good news for you, the same way God enthroned Jesus and gave him a name that is above every other name; the same way He enthrone Paul the Apostle and the same way that He enthroned Joseph and at the end of their journey it was obvious that God was never far from them. The Lord will enthrone you, and your testimony shall be transgenerational, in the name of Jesus. Without a genuine relationship with Jesus, enduring the crown of thorns will be an illusion; Christ says that without him we can do nothing. ACCESS DENIED

Job 1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

The protection and covering over our lives as a believer is not a joke; we have a well-fortified wall around us that our enemies cannot penetrate; most time due to our ignorance and disobedience, we might have opened the door for the devil to come into our lives and when that happens, we will begin to blame God; and that is very wrong. Whenever you have an unnecessary interruption in your life. You need to stop and check your activities and see if there is any way you might have granted the devil access to you. Note that because of your level of importance in the kingdom, Satan is following you like a stalker; he is a master at stalking the people of God. The same way he was stalking Job and keeping record of his activities, he stalked Adam and Eve until they broke the hedge around them, and he bit and stripped them naked of their glory and separated them from God. He is still walking to and fro the earth looking for a believer like you and me to bite, but he will not see us, in Jesus' name (Job 1:7-10). You are carrying honey, and he is like an insect buzzing around you, looking for a crack in the door to enter; please don't grant him access. That crooked serpent called the devil is waiting for you to break the hedge so that he bites you.

Ecclesiastes 10:8 He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.

 

In this kingdom, you cannot be too careful; in fact, over-caution should be your second name. Seal your territory and be on guard; don't let the devil come inside. I remember many times I have had the door opened to the enemy to flood into my territory; everything just goes haywire; I was going backward spiritually; I scream to God, Father help me. He said Did I ask Him when I open my door to the devil; I kept asking for mercy, and I don't want to rationalize my behaviour or decision because the more time I wasted in getting Him involved and securing mercy, the faster they will move to secure the area they think they have conquered in my life. They will hasten their damage so that by the time you realize, you will be so overwhelmed to do something against them. Friends, stop claiming rights because whatever is not going well in your life can never be God's fault; God can never be wrong. However, until you learn to accept your own wrongs, you will not make headway. You are not in a competition with anyone; who cares whether you are right or wrong? It is God who will decide your righteousness. 

Whenever you open a door that God has secured for you against the devil, only you can still use your hand to close it; and that is what I have learned, you may ask, Nene, how?. Remember, you have the security of God, the key is in your hand, and that is why you were able to open the door to the enemy in the first place. Does that mean that God is not there? He is there, but you have created a wedge between you and Him because you have given access to His enemy. And that is why the bible says that whosoever breaks a hedge the serpent shall bite him (Ecclesiastes 10:8) .

THIS SIMPLE STEP WILL CLOSE THE DOOR BACK (PSALM 51).

1. Recognize your fault and what the damage is

2. Genuinely repent and show remorse

3. Ask for mercy, and if you need to cry, and to fast, why not, anything to shut the door back against the enemy.

4. Quickly retrieve your step by correcting your mistake immediately.

5. Tell God that you are sorry, that he should have mercy on you

6. Then address the situation; it can be a prophetic declaration and use relevant scripture to make your stand

7. Tell Satan to get out of your territory using the blood of Jesus and all the other relevant anointed material at your disposal. And you have your peace back.

HOW TO RECOGNIZE THAT THE DOOR HAS BEEN OPEN TO THE ENEMIES

1. When you see retrogression

2. When doors of opportunity are closing against you so fast, without any identifiable physical reason

3. When you begin to lose battles that you have won both physically and spiritually

4. Having signs of depression

5. Display of anger and other emotions that are not notable to you. 

When Jesus gave you the key, he never took it away; that is why the prodigal son was able to return (Luke 15:11-24). The door was open, and he walked right in; so anytime you feel like closing the door against Satan, just return to God in a genuine repentance, and the door will be closed against him sharply. Friends, if you don't have a relationship with Jesus, which means your door is wide open for the devil to go in and come out at will in your life. To shut the door against Satan and his agent, you need to be in a relationship with the one who has the key of David in his hand. When you open the door for Jesus, Satan will be far away from you (Revelation 1:18 and 3:7). Friends, open the door of your heart to Jesus today by saying Yes to him. Quickly pray this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name.

THE DRAMA AT THE CROSS

1 Corinthians 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Satan was played; that two-horned beast called the devil was played by the master strategist Himself. God is the greatest chess player of all time; He reserves His best weapons for the Last. If you know who you truly are in Christ and follow God step by step, Satan will not be able to play a game on you. Everything about your assignment is written in a book before you were born; the script of your life is written by God and not Satan. The same God knows the roles that Satan has to play in the drama of your life as you continue in the journey. Our defeat is not a result of God´s weakness; it is our inability to trust God as our Director and producer that causes our loss in the journey of life, but you will not lose again, in Jesus' name. The world is the theatre hall, and every lead actor has the power to make their script more interesting in this epic movie, because everyone's success is determined by the level of their contribution

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

When the devil saw Christ going to the cross, he was happy and sent his agent to mock him very well to demoralize his followers; I believe he was saying Stupid boy, I afflict people, you will come and save them by the time I am done with you, let's see who will deliver my captives. He updated his status everywhere, mocking Jesus with the crown of a thorn, saying HAIL KING OF THE JEWS, little did he know that more savour was born on the cross that very day. If the devil knew that the death of Jesus on the cross would give birth to multiple Jesuses all over the world, he would have tried very hard to stop it. As it is written, a seed must fall to the ground to multiply (John 12:24); it is a mystery that only God knows. Satan was part of the script, but he never knew. Whether you like it or not, Satan has a role to play in your journey of greatness because without his part, your story will not be completed. He came to kill, destroy, and steal, but you are far above him; he cannot lay a finger on you except you permit him (John 10:10). 

Your enemy, the devil, is doomed; he has lost the battle over your life and destiny because Christ is inside of you. He that is in you is greater than the devil; He knows your enemy very well, and He has defeated him a long time ago; so don't let them intimidate you. He has not stopped weeping since after the crucifixion of Christ because that is when he was stripped naked of his power over you. Halleuyah 

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Friends, if you don't believe in the person that God sent to save you, then you cannot be saved. God loves you, and He gave His only Son so that we can become His sons and daughters. You also need to give out something so the law of divine multiplication can work for you. You need to give your life to Christ if you have not already done so, so that you can bring forth your multiple potentials.
