1 Samuel 17(4 And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span. 10. And the philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together. 11. When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly afraid. 43. Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of the hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied)
In the journey of destiny, we all have to confront our Goliath if we desire to move forward. There is a wise saying that, “to be a champion wrestler you need to defeat a champion” your attitude towards your Goliath will determine whether you are going to be victorious or not. Who is this Goliath? You may ask. He is the enemy of our next level manifestation; he mocks the glory of God in the life of believers and causes people to ask where your God is. He is a satanic agent, and uses threats as a weapon to intimidate his opponents. As soon as fear enters defeat is inevitable. Whatever that is making men ask you where your God is, is a Goliath and it needs to be crushed. It may be an examination, promotion, admission, poverty, sickness, marital delay and childlessness, etc. If you desire a promotion in any area of your endeavor, then you need to defeat your Goliath. It is not just one off thing; it is a continuous battle as long as we are here on earth because we are destined to move from glory to glory (2Corinthians 3:18). Proverbs 4:18(But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day). Nobody will kill your Goliath for you; it’s your battle for promotion. King Saul was on the throne of Israel when Goliath began to mock their destiny but he did not defeat him, David took up the challenge even as a teenager and he got promoted. Whatever that is mocking your glorious destiny I command it to come under the judgment of God today in Jesus name. It is all about enthronement. I see you being enthroned in Jesus name. The battle between us and our Goliath is not as visible as it looks, so to defeat him we need God who is invisible on our side. Whatever you are going through right now may be your preparation ahead of the battle for your promotion. David was in the bush for years taking care of his father’s sheep. He wrestled lions and bears and delivered his sheep out of their mouths. He does not see Goliath as a giant, he sees him as a cheap meat. Whatever name you call your situation will determine your victory. Always remember what God has done before and stand on the truth that he will do it again. God has given us the weapon of Faith and boldness to defeat our Goliath. Friends, redemption has made us kings and queens to reign in our field of endeavor and dominate our circumstance (Revelation 5:10). So take hold of the weapon that God has made available for you and get that Goliath out of your way. I see you in your next level status in Jesus name. God does not empower strangers neither would you trust someone that you don’t know. If you have not known him, here is another opportunity today.
Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I am a sinner, I cannot help myself, forgive me my sins, cleanse me with your precious blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and savior. Now I know I am Born Again, Amen.
