Galatians 3:13 (Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise).
The redeemed of the LORD are the called-out ones; the chosen ones; the separated ones. As in the case of Abraham when God called him to be separated from his father's house. He was not the only one in his father's house but the only one who listened to the calling of God. Many are struggling today because they ignore the call of separation; manifestation is not in view without separation. You cannot be too comfortable in your current situation; there is a need to apply spiritual determination. If you study the genealogy of Abraham in Genesis chapter 11, you will notice that Terah, Abraham´s father started the journey toward the land of Canaan but when he got to Haran he stopped there; but Canaan was the land of promise. Procrastination is an enemy of destiny manifestation so don't fall into it. Friends, maybe there is a journey that you need to start and complete or there is an assignment for you but until you separate yourself from where you are right you will not be able to make a headway. You may be thinking that you don't know where to start; worry no more, the first step is to accept the call and depart by making Jesus Christ your Lord and saviour.
Genesis 11:31 (And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there).
Genesis 12:1 (Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed).
Even though you were once saved and now have lost your freedom God is willing to do anything to rescue you if you will surrender to him. Your redemption is a promise and God has fulfilled that promise by sending His only begotten son Jesus Christ as a ransom for your freedom.
Redemption simply means buying back; which means you were once a free person but now captured by the enemies and have lost your freedom but needed to be rescued. It means repossessing what you have lost. Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden enjoying freedom until sin entered and captured them and God needed to come in human form to rescue man from the captivity of Satan. To know the value of your redemption you need to ask those who have been a victim of kidnapping or have been in jail about their experience; that is exactly what Satan is doing to many. The irony of these satanic captivity is that Jesus Christ has paid fully for our ransom but many are still in chains because they don't know or they know but refuse to let go of their chain. The gospel of Jesus Christ is all about spreading the good news of what Jesus Christ has done for humanity; it is about creating awareness of our freedom. The difference between satanic captivity and physical captivity is that with spiritual captivity Jesus Christ has given us the willpower to decide to be free. You have to consciously agree to come out; In physical captivity, you are under the supervision of your captor but in spiritual captivity, your captor has lost his power over you because of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross of Calvary but you need to accept and acknowledge his sacrifice to receive your freedom. The price for your release has been fully paid. All you need to do is to get the receipt of your freedom from Jesus Christ by accepting him as your Lord and saviour and your total freedom shall be established.
Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I am a sinner, and I cannot help myself, forgive me my sins, and cleanse me with your precious blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and saviour. Now I know I am Born Again, Amen.
