THE TRANSFORMING POWER OF GOD

Galatians 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

God's transforming power is in salvation; it is in the finished work of Christ on the cross. The old nature of man, which is sin, has been nailed to the cross, but until we embrace the new nature, which is the nature of Christ, our life cannot be transformed. Change is one thing that is constant in life because every living object is subject to change. Men want their story to change, but the process that leads to that change is what they don't want, and that is very sad.

Until Christ comes into your life and forms inside of you, your life cannot be transformed. New birth is a transition from what you used to know to what you need to know and embrace. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new).

As soon as you surrender your life to Christ, the change is automatic in the spirit realm, and we know that the spiritual controls the physical. You have been translated from darkness to light; so, in the physical realm, you must consciously drop all the properties of darkness that are in your possession (Colossians 1:13-14). For example, The bible says that Saran is the father of all liars; so, you drop the lies, stealing, killing, and many other things that belong to darkness (Galatians 5:19-21). Jesus Christ will handle the spiritual aspect of your transformation, but it is your responsibility to walk away from all the old things that identify you with darkness and never look back. You need character reformed, and that is what salvation does: a new perspective towards life, a new way of living, a new life in Christ. Character transformation is a process; it requires knowledge and understanding. Without understanding the demand of our new birth, we would not be able to walk in the newness of life. Christ is the word of God, and until he is formed in us, nothing changes around us, and our new birth, which is supposed to be a thing of honour, can be ridiculed. Christ, who is the word of God, is our mirror, and as we continue to study him and walk in him, the change we desire will manifest, and it will affect every area of our lives.

2 Corinthians 3:18 (But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord).

We are to let the old man remain buried and perish, and enjoy the glory which Christ has purchased for us.

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Romans 7:6 (But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter).

Friends, if the result you are getting now is not what you desire, then you need to introspect and amend your relationship with Jesus, who can overturn your result anytime and any day. Say yes to Jesus today, and he will turn you into a new person. Quickly pray this salvation prayer below and begin to walk in the newness of life. God bless you.

Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and accept You as my Lord and Saviour. I believe you died for me to make me a new man/woman. Forgive me all my sins, wash me with your blood, and give me a new heart. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul. Now I believe that I am born again. And I am a child of God. Amen!

THE POWER OF DETERMINATION PART 2

1 Corinthians 9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

Determination is a compelling force that pushes people to do things that ordinarily they may not have been able to accomplish. When people begin to use the phrase Ï MUST, ¨ everyone around them will know they are serious. I MUST, it means necessity; every assignment has to be pursued with a sense of necessity. It means putting yourself under obligation.

We are not here on earth to occupy space or waste time; we are here for a purpose. If you are not in his plan, you will not be here because there will be no need for you to be born in the first place. Our God is very intentional in his work, and you are perfectly made to fit the purpose for which you were created. However, many have missed that particular purpose they were created for and are busy elsewhere doing things that are not related to their assignment. Some have discovered their assignment, but they were unable to run the race to the finish line because of a lack of determination.

The level of our achievement in life is a function of determination; am I saying there will be no challenges, NO, every great destiny is accompanied by serious challenges and persecution, but it is our determination that will compel the forces to work in our favour. You can wear out Satan if you are determined to do it. James 4:7 (Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you).

Recently. I begin to meditate on the phrase (I MUST) and the Holy Spirit walks me through the New Testament. I realize that the only two people who imbibe the I MUST phrase in their lexicon in line with their assignment were Jesus Christ and Paul the Apostle. I quickly adopted it as part of my lexicon. I said to myself, No wonder, despite all the persecution, Paul was able to run his race to the finish line.

Our case study in part one of this article was Jesus, and now we are using Paul the Apostle as a case study.

Acts 18:21 But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.

You can manifest your destiny; you can finish the race with your crown firmly on your head; all you need is I MUST end it well mentality. Determination is the key to a successful race. Paul the Apostle was a zealous man, and he ran his race to the finish line.

Acts 19:21 After these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.

He eventually got to Jerusalem, and he was beaten. People put themselves under oath to kill him, but they did not succeed (Acts 23:12). Jesus Christ reassured him that he would not die and that he would get to Rome. Acts 23:11 (And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome).

He put himself under an oath to achieve his purpose here on earth; today, his work is still speaking. Friends, if you want your work to keep speaking here on earth even while you are in heaven, you need the I MUST mentality. Until you put yourself under an oath like Paul, you will not know the limit to what you can achieve. 2 Timothy 4:7 (I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing). That shall be your testimony, in Jesus' name. You will end your race well, in Jesus' name. The question is, do you love his appearance? Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus? If you have not started your journey with him. Do it now by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name

Lord Jesus, I come to you today. I am a sinner, and I cannot help myself. Forgive me my sins, and cleanse me with your precious blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan to serve the living God. Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and saviour. Now I know I am Born Again. Amen.

THE POWER OF DETERMINATION, PART 1

Luke 4:43 And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent

Without zeal, no assignment will see the light of day. We are here on assignment, but our determination to fulfil our purpose here on earth brings about our success and makes us stand out among others. Every successful man and woman is passionate about their assignment. We are responsible for the outcome of our lives; what you make out of life is what you put into it. It is Garbage in, Garbage out. You cannot plant an orange seed and expect to harvest an apple; it is impossible. Our success in this journey is tied to our level of determination. It is a fruit that you have to bear by yourself because there is a limit to which people can push you to do things for yourself.

Determination means having the mentality that I must do it, I must get it right, it is a mentality of a successful man and woman. It means having a sense of purpose. Determination is the ability to focus on the goals until the desired result is achieved. It means pushing yourself beyond your limit; that is, going beyond your strength, defying your weakness, and reaching out to help beyond humans. When you use the phrase I MUST, you are daring the obstacle, you are telling the mountain, you can't stop me, and I don't care about you. You are telling the host of heaven that you are ready for the journey.

WHEN THE DEVIL HEARS THE WORD ¨I MUST, ¨ HE WILL CLEAR OFF YOUR WAY, HE WILL KNOW THAT THERE IS A BATTLE. HE WILL SAY THAT YOU ARE A MAD MAN AND THAT NOTHING CAN STOP YOU. HE WILL GRUDGINGLY HOLD THE LADDER FOR YOUR SUCCESS

WHEN GOD HEAR YOU SAY, I MUST ACCOMPLISH THIS TASK THAT GOD HAS GIVEN TO ME, HE WILL MOBILIZE HIS ANGELS TO HELP YOU.

Here is what Jesus says about his assignment

Luke 2:49 (And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?)

So, right from a tender age, Jesus Christ knew what his assignment was, and he was determined to fulfil it, and that was why he began to learn at the feet of the doctors of the law. He acquired all the necessary knowledge needed for the fulfillment of his assignment. (Luke 13:33, John 9:4).

John 10:16 (And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

He was saying that this assignment of bringing other sheep will need him to lay down his life, but he must do it. He put himself under an oath; he saw his assignment as a necessity. He struggled to go to the cross, and he went because he was determined; he pushed himself beyond his limit, and he received help from above to accomplish the task. Luke 22:42 (Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. 43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. 44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground).

Because of his determination, even when he was weak and needed food after forty days of prayer and fasting in the wilderness, the devil could not trap him with food. Friends, that is the power of determination. The help you need will not come until you are determined to fulfil your assignment. Jesus received Angelic help after he had defeated the devil, but you are looking for Angelic help before the battles.

Matthew 4:11 (Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him).

Friends, have you found out what your real assignment is? Meanwhile, every one of us as a bonafide child of God has a common assignment, which is our primary assignment here on earth. We are to partner with Christ in reconciling the world with God (2 Corinthians 5:17-20, Mark 16:15-20). We have been ordained to bring the other sheep, which are not of the same fold as us, yet. A call that almost everyone has abandoned. Friends, I don't know how far you have pushed, but if you will push beyond your limit in that area of your call, the help you need will come, in Jesus' name. Jesus, finish his assignment, you shall finish yours in Jesus' name (John 19:30). Say to yourself, I must do the work that I was sent to this world to do.

If you are not a child of God, your cry will not attract his help, and you will keep labouring in vain. Jesus Christ got heaven's attention because he had a connection with heaven. But I have good news for you, Jesus Christ is ready to help you achieve your purpose if you will surrender your life to him. Please quickly make up your mind and pray this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name.

Amen.

THE BELIEVER´S STRONGHOLD

Zechariah 9:11 As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water. 12 Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;

Every kingdom and power has its stronghold; when the fight gets hard, they will all turn to their stronghold for defense and protection. Stronghold represents a highly fortified spiritual arena where people take refuge in times of trouble. Stronghold is a place designated for highly spiritual activities; it is a sacred place. Satanic agents also have their stronghold, but their stronghold cannot be compared to ours; their defense can be pulled down anytime, any day.

Hebrews 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. 25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

The blood of Jesus is the believer's stronghold, and its potency can never be compromised; it delivers anytime, any day. Satan, the devil, has not found an antidote against the blood of Jesus; only the blood of Jesus has the power to silence the devil and his agents. God expects us to place a demand on the blood of Jesus, and he will give us double protection and defense whenever we are being harassed by the devil. When the journey gets rough, when we feel oppressed, when we feel locked up in a dungeon of hardship or trouble, when we feel that all doors are shut against us, when our health is being challenged, and we are constantly harassed by the devil, then you need to turn to your stronghold. It guarantees total covering and exemption from destruction; in Egypt, when God wanted to release the last plague on Pharaoh and his people; the only guarantee that God gave the children of Israel was to take cover in the Passover blood which is the blood of the lamb and Jesus Christ is the lamb of God. John 1:36 (And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!) The line between the children of Israel and the Egyptians was the blood of the Lamb; their exemption against the mighty sword of vengeance was the blood of the Lamb.

When you erect an altar of the blood of Jesus, every stubborn pursuer will back off. You are telling them that you have a stronghold and that you have invoked it to establish your victory over them. It is an automatic victory against the enemy.

Revelation 12:11 (And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto death).

Your overcoming power as a child of God lies in the blood of Jesus; it is the certificate of our redemption given to us by Jesus. When you invoke the blood of Jesus against your enemies, you are displaying the authenticity of your sonship. 1 Peter 1:18 (Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:) If you are not redeemed the blood of Jesus will not speak for you and you will be vulnerable to the enemies; God forbid. Friends, you need a stronghold to run to for a defence in times of trouble, because if you have no defence, you can fall at any time. It is just a matter of time. Here is the good news: Jesus Christ is calling anyone who needs spiritual covering to come and take cover in his blood; please hurry up and accept his offer by praying these salvation prayers below and be blessed, in Jesus' name.

Amen.

THE TROUBLE WITH SIN

The battle over the mind of man is real, but more real is the saving grace of God in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Life is a battle, and the ground on which this battle is taking place is our mind; Our mind is the battlefield and a breeding ground for all evil. Every sin any man will ever commit starts from the mind, and when mature, the individual will manifest it in the open (Mark 7:20-23). Giving our life to Jesus is handing over our mind to him to manage because we know that he can never mismanage our heart. If we refuse to give him our heart, it will become vulnerable to the enemy, and we may fall into their trap, but that will not be you, in Jesus' name. It is only when we give God our heart that we can easily observe his way and do according to his will.

Proverbs 23:26 My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.

Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

The trouble with sin is that it is never convenient, and that is why people hide themselves to do it; the question is, why do you deserve pleasure in what you know is wrong? When people refuse to retain God in their heart, God allows the enemies to occupy their mind, making them do things that are not convenient; things they are not proud of. Everything God does is good and is for our pleasure, but the twisted serpent, the crooked dragon called Satan, as crooked as he is, has found a way to twist everything around and draw many to himself, especially those who despise God's instruction. They left what is convenient and desired pleasure in what is not convenient, punishing themselves by doing shameful things. Lying when it is not even necessary.

The bible makes us understand that even those who support evil are worthy of death; so, many dead people are working around. When your conscience is dead, you are dead also because your conscience is your internal witness, but if you are no longer conscious of its presence, then you are dead. Your conscience is supposed to convict you of your wrongdoing to bring you back on track. When your conscience is dead, then you are no longer in control; Satan is now in charge of that person´s life, God forbid.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Many people have killed their conscience, and your conscience is you, which means you have killed yourself. Only Jesus Christ can revive such death, and that is why he is asking you to hand over your heart to him to manage or to revive.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Friends, you can say NO to sin, which is death, by saying YES  to Jesus for the gift of God, which is eternal life, by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name.

Amen.
