Matthew 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
You don't need a lamp in the day; you only need a lamp in the night, but a lamp without light is nothing (John 9:4-5). The day of the Lord is gloomy; it is a day of thick darkness, as the scripture says, and everyone has to produce enough oil to generate light. Your continuous connection to the olive tree is your guarantee of a continuous supply. The brightness of your lamp is what determines your qualification to be among the end-time army. Only the true virgins who keep their light burning can be enrolled in the Lord's army.
Joel 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; 2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
The trumpet will sound in Zion, the alarm will blow, and only those who are ready can be allowed to enter. The sign of your virginity is your light that would be shining; there is no hiding place, no bribe, you just have to have the light in you. You are the light of the world, a city on a hill that can not be hidden, and you are to use your light to draw multitudes into God's kingdom (Matthew 5:14). You are to war against the enemies of God, but without oil in your lamp, it can't be possible.
The bible says that we are in the world, but we are not of the world (John 17:11-18); and we all know that the world represents darkness, and what separates us from the world is the light. As long as we are in the world, we need light to operate successfully. Because without our lamp on, we will continue to stumble in the journey of life. John 9:5 (As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world). For you, who is reading this message right now, I decree upon your life, you will not stumble, in Jesus name; and your light will not go out, in the name of Jesus. The door of heaven will not be shut against you, in the name of Jesus. The impact of your light will continue to speak even while you are long gone, in the name of Jesus. Friends, you have no need to be afraid of darkness because the thicker the darkness, the more opportunity for you to shine and showcase the work of God. The darkness around you is an opportunity to draw men into your light because light naturally attracts people.
Isaiah 60:1 (Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. 3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising).
Friends, if you are still struggling in darkness, I have good news for you. Jesus Christ is the light, and he gives light to anyone who comes to him, and they will begin to shine like him. Please quickly accept him today and become a light of the world by radiating your generation through the salvation prayer below. God bless you.
Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and accept You as my Lord and Saviour. I believe you died for me so that I could become a new man/woman. Forgive me all my sins, wash me with your blood, and give me a new heart. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul. Now I believe I am born again. And I am a child of God. Amen!
