Life is designed to progress; stagnation and retrogression are not part of God's agenda for His people. Every parent wants to see their children grow both physically, spiritually, and emotionally to a greater height. Every child with intellectual disability is a concern to the family because it will drain them of their strength and finances. It will cost them their time, emotion, and can even lead to a serious health challenge. In the same way, God does not want us to become spiritual retards. It gives God concerns when we are not growing the way we should.
Isaiah 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
We are a seed in the hand of God, but until we give our lives to Christ, we will not be planted. At new birth, we become the planting of the Lord, a tree of righteousness, and we are expected to grow branches and bear fruit. Without Jesus, man is just a seed full of potential, and some seeds have already been planted but are not growing; that is our main focus in this article today. When you give your life to Christ, you die with him as a seed and are ready to grow into your real self as a tree of righteousness. Salvation is an oath to live a life of sacrifice.
John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. 25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. 26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
Friends, until you surrender your life to God as a seed and are planted, you will not manifest to your full potential. The greatness you have seen is just icing on the cake. The real thing is buried inside waiting for you to make a decision. Our growth is to bring glory to God, just as our earthly parents rejoice at our growth.
The multiplication agenda of God is for us to produce a replica of ourselves; if a tree is not growing to maturity, how can it produce fruit? That is why our personal growth is important to God. Our growth is to glorify God; when we showcase His good work in our lives, we are glorifying him, and we are multiplying His agenda. Our growth is for the expansion of His kingdom; we are ordained to rebuild the waste places. When we grow branches and bear much fruit, we are populating His kingdom, and that is what keeps us alive and healthy. God is committed to maintaining a fruit-bearing branch so it can produce more fruit.
John 15:1 (I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit).
You are not saved to abide alone; you are saved to grow branches and bear fruit; that is, you are to reach out to other seeds out there who are yet to be planted and tell them about the multiplication agenda of God for their lives. That is how to bear fruit. If you are planning to appear before God on the last day without fruits, think twice because every branch that bears no fruit he cuts them off and throws them into fire, but that will not be you, in Jesus name.
Your growth lies in the number of people you introduce to Jesus; the more souls you save, the more you grow. Christ chose you because you are part of his multiplication agenda. Please don´t fail him.
John 15:16 (Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you).
The name of Jesus answers expressly only to the fruit-bearing believer; that is the advantage of being a soul winner.
Friends, if you have not said Yes to Jesus, you are still a seed yet to be planted, and he is waiting for your permission; please allow him to plant you today by praying this salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus name. God bless you.
Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and accept You as my Lord and Saviour. I believe you died for me to make me a new man/woman. Forgive me all my sins, wash me with your blood, and give me a new heart. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul. Now I believe I am born again. And I am a child of God. Amen!
