This is a continuation of my last article title: YOUR CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS HEAVEN AGENDA
This is a very complicated question, but the answer is very simple, despite its complexity. Yes, total eradication of darkness is possible because with God, all things are possible. The agenda of heaven is the total eradication of darkness, and our primary assignment here on earth as a believer is to contribute towards the success of this agenda.
Matthew 19:26 (But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible).
Corruption entered the world because of disobedience; total eradication of darkness is possible if all men obey God. It is possible if all men believe in God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
1 Timothy 2:3 (For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth).
It is possible if all men are saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Satan is a deceiver and a manipulator; he has deceived the whole and turned away from the truth. Revelation 12:9 (And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him).
Jesus says he is the way, the light, and the truth. Until all men turn away from Satan's deception and follow Jesus, who is the way, the light, and the truth, darkness will not be fully eradicated. Total eradication of light is possible if all men align themselves with God, who makes all things possible. If the whole world is lighted with the gospel of Jesus Christ, darkness will be eradicated. The solution to darkness is light. John 1:5(And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not).
If all men had the light of God in them, darkness would no longer be a problem. The agenda of God is to eradicate darkness, and Jesus Christ wants us to take the gospel around the world and clear off darkness before he returns. He is coming back to reign here on earth, but he is waiting for me and you to spread the light; our assignment is to multiply the light. God quarantined darkness during creation, and man, through disobedience, surrendered his dominion to Satan, and that is the reason darkness begins to rule the world until God intervenes and sends His only begotten son to the world as light to clear the darkness. Even though Jesus Christ came to pay the price of setting men free from the captivity of Satan, many continue to be in bondage because they do not know the light. Unless you accept the sacrifice of Jesus and are translated to the side of light, darkness will continue to hold you captive.
John 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jesus was the light that lightened every man that came to the world. He is no longer in the world, but he is living through me, and you who have contacted the light, and the only way he can continue to lighten every man in the world is through his light that is in us. He made us light so that we can contribute to his agenda of lighting the whole world. Men will not seek light until they encounter trouble.
Matthew 4:16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. 17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Jesus spread the light through the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom; he has appointed us to do the same; he said go ye into the world and lighten it by spreading this gospel, so we spread the light when we spread the gospel of repentance. The question is, how many believers are doing this job? Darkness will remain if we continue to ignore the great commandment of spreading the gospel. Lack of zeal towards the work of God is why darkness is here; selfishness and disobedience are the reasons why darkness is causing havoc today. If you are born again and you are not winning souls for God, you are in disobedience.
John 8:12 (Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life).
Darkness will be totally eradicated if everyone follows Jesus.
Psalm 36:9 (For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light).
So, friends, the light in you is to lighten others who are still in darkness, so that light can spread around the world and eradicate darkness, because in your light others will see light, which is Jesus. Without Jesus, you have no light in you; don't be deceived. He came into the world because of you and me. Don't let darkness swallow you; run and come to the light by praying the salvation prayer below and be blessed, in Jesus' name.
Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and accept You as my Lord and Saviour. I believe you died for me so that I could become a new man/woman. Forgive me all my sins, wash me with your blood, and give me a new heart. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul. Now I believe I am born again. And I am a child of God. Amen!
